Just as beautiful and cozy a place as in the pictures. There is nothing to complain about and everything was perfect. Very strong recommendations!

Was a super nice weekend getaway! Definitely recommending the jacuzzi and barbecuing with a view!! Bathroom felt a bit cramped for 6 people. Alright for a short period of time though. Would book it again 10/10 wow

Beautiful house, privet and cozy, just what we were looking for to have a nice girls night and brunch. The pool and sauna were the perfect touch to our stay! Maria was incredible to have as a host and helped us with all the with all the little questions and planing that we needed for the first night of this bachelorette!

Nice house for your money, I will be happy to visit several more times, everything is convenient and good, there are all the utensils in the kitchen, there is a gas grill, firewood for the fireplace is included in the price.

A Norwegian accommodation, as it is in the book! We really felt very comfortable and were sad when we had to move on. Sitting by the water in the evening and enjoying the view, starting point for various hikes or walks into the village - we were never bored. Despite the steep staircase, it is also highly recommended for families with small children: there are stair gates, a high chair and the animals in the garden are an attraction. Helen is very friendly and always helps. Thank you, happy to come back!

great stay. chosen for the walk we had in mind and was also fantastic but was an adventure for experienced hikers at a 30-minute drive to Femdälen. Cottage has all facilities and offers plenty of space. We were also big enough for 4 people.

Beautiful and peaceful setting close to town. Welcoming and generous hosts. We kayaked and bird watched. Sauna relaxing and overlooked the water. Maria had great Advice about things to do and places to eat.

I had such a beautiful experience staying here that I can’t stop talking about it to my friends. The island is stunning and with everything that the hosts make available for use, like the kayak, there’s plenty to do. It’s quiet and private, with plenty of areas where to lounge and look at the sunset. The cottage photos don’t make it justice as it’s even more cute and curated than it appears. The hosts are incredibly kind , helpful and down to accomodate requests and necessities. I will always remember this place and keep it in my heart hoping to go back!

This cozy boathouse is wonderful. All the pictures and the description correspond to reality. Super equipment as well. The sauna is a cool goodie! :) The communication with Fia , Martin or Lynn was friendly and easy, there was always someone available. Fia also gave us tips for the surrounding area! A great place to spend a break in wintry Sweden and relax for a few days! We even saw the northern lights on new years eve! :) We will definitely come back one day.

The stay was fully up to our expectations. A true Swedish cabin experience with a lake view and an elevated terrace designed for enjoyment. The icing on the cake is a boat made available to enjoy the lake and the surrounding views. Thank you for this authentic and enchanting stay!

We found the place immediately (10 km bad road from the east - from the west top). A dry toilet is located on the island. An island just for us. Outside there is running water. We grilled sausages on the grill and made a campfire at the fire pit. The house is large and clean. The house has everything you need... there's even a dust mop and a toaster. Thanks for the great experience.

Stunning!! This is one of those special places you will always remember. Anita’s home is located in a spectacular setting with jaw dropping views everywhere you look. The home is wonderful. It’s clean neat cosy and welcoming. There is a fireplace in the open living room/kitchen area, the bed was very comfortable and the upstairs sitting room with tv and Netflix is nice if you can ever pry your eyes away from the views. There were fresh flowers on the table, a fully stocked kitchen and everything you need to feel right at home. The only thing missing was a microwave which we didn’t even miss. Anita’s dad came to welcome us and even offered to bring us a microwave if we wanted. He was a very kind man who showed us around and answered any questions we had. Then came by the next day with an extra special treat from his wife. All we could say was wow when we left. Thank you to Anita and her family for your kindness and sharing your beautiful home, it was the highlight of our trip.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Antti’s cottage. The place was stunningly beautiful and quiet. It’s a perfect getaway from everyday’s hustle. Communication was friendly and I always got prompt responses. Please do visit this hidden gem!

Simply fantastic. The house, the lake, the sauna, just everything. You get what is on the pictures and super nice hosts. We were also super lucky with the weather and were therefore able to use the terrace around the house a lot.
