Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Savannah

We had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful place and the location is perfect. Everything you need is in walking distance. We parked our car when we got there and didn't move it until check out. Matt and Bonnie were excellent hosts and provided us with plenty of information to make the most of our stay.

Julie’s place is by far the best property I’ve ever stayed at. For brevity here’s my favorite things: Cuter than the photos (how is that even possible??), 5-8 minutes away from everything, fast & clear communication, thoughtful snacks waiting for our arrival, sparkling clean, well appointed, and the best checkout instructions ever: ‘no chores on vacation, lock the door behind you!!’ If I ever make it back to Savannah I will definitely stay here. I wish Julie had property in all my favorite places!

We are very thankful to have came across this beautiful cottage for our vacation. It was everything we imagined and more. When we arrived there was music playing, wine, a sweet note, and a cake was left to greet us upon our arrival for our anniversary. It was full of all the amenities all the way down to Apple Watch chargers on each side of the bed (something I forgot to pack). Anything you may forget, Kimberly most likely has it in the cottage for you already. The beach chairs were great to take to the beach! (as we also had forgot ours) Everything was thoughtfully decorated and stocked. I loved the front porch area for my morning reading and coffee. It’s nestled on a quiet street just a short drive to Savannah and Tybee Island. Communication was amazing. We didn’t have any questions during our stay, but from the prior communication and check in, I was sure Kimberly was just a text away. We felt at home and safe at Penrose Cottage. We hope one day to be able to come back!

Beautiful space. Great location. Clean, easy to navigate stairs, lots of lights inside. Ceiling fans are GREAT! The bathroom is fine but it is small if one is large and round. Joyce was very helpful. QUIET and PEACEFUL which is the best when you are a country mouse that has very little noise in their home life. (no noise from traffic, music, sirens, people). Greatly appreciated the quiet. Kroger close by

This home is so beautiful with lots of character and warmth. Love the hardwood floors and the large rooms. Plenty of space for our family. So nice having 2 full bathrooms and laundry! We love that everything is on one floor. Barry was so nice and helpful. He was very responsive to any questions we had. He gave us an email with some information about the home and the areas. We would love to stay here again when coming down to Savannah! It isn’t too far from the Historic District either.

We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. We visited with our Son and Daughter in law, and twin grandsons and the home was perfect. The toys at the house were a hit with our 20 month old grandsons! Thank you so much.

Chaston's place is a stylish bungalow. These folks are designers. Its in a quiet locale a short walk to the river. A decent restaurant is close by. Having lived in Savannah for a year recently, I'd say this is a great place to stay for the feel of being near the breezy coast. Getting to downtown probably takes 15 to 20 minutes. If you must be amidst hustle and bustle, look elsewhere. Very good communication. Highly recommended.

This place was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect and was right by a lot of the eateries I frequent when in Savannah. Once you locate a good parking spot, you don’t have to move your car again because there are so many things in walking distance. The condo is lovely and looks exactly like the pictures. Everything we needed was provided. The beds were super comfy and I was grateful for the air purifiers. I deal with allergies and they can sometimes flare up when I travel and sleep different places, but no problems here. If stairs are an issue for you, this is not the place for you because there are quite a few to climb before you reach the floor for this beautiful home away from home. We saw it has a great way to exercise so it was ok for us. The hosts are clear about the stairs in the description, so please don’t breeze past that. There is no elevator option. I would gladly stay here again!

Matthew’s place was wonderful and exactly as described … wish we could’ve stayed longer. The place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. He was responsive and very easy to communicate with! Plan on staying here again when we come back …. Thanks Matthew 🙏🏼

We really enjoyed this spot, we booked last minute (day of) and were lucky to find such a good place. Everything was as described, the place was very clean, really nicely decorated, had everything we needed. The location is great, it’s quiet and next to a park but very walkable to parks, restaurants, the river walk, etc. Parking was easy. Sarah was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout which was a great help. If I come back to Savannah I’ll definitely keep this place in mind. It’s on 3rd floor with stairs only, which is mentioned multiple times in the listing and was not an issue for us, but just be aware!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved how easy it was to get around! It was very clean and felt so cozy. We will definitely be back next time we are in Savannah!

We loved staying here. We were only here for one evening, but we found it very peaceful, private, and comfortable. Mary Ellen was communicative, making our stay as seamless as possible. Highly recommend!

Cozy, clean and comfortable place. Location worked well for a morning run down to the Riverwalk and into the heart of the downtown Savannah shopping & eating district. Also, a short walk to some local restaurants. Bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Mary communicated well, and the check in helper with photos was good for this property, as the garage is behind in the alley and not marked. Mary did make it clear that the garage was small, but it was even smaller/tighter space than we expected. We could not fit our mid size crossover in without fear of hitting something. Fortunately, street parking was not an issue. We did have to park across the street and down a block. But we never had trouble finding a space. We would definitely try to book this unit again if we find ourselves back in Savannah!

The location was ideal: quiet, safe, and close to everything I wanted to explore. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful accommodation! Gina was an amazing and responsive host. We will definitely be back. The check in was super easy and she accommodated our early check in request with no issues!

We loved the location, 5 minute walk to Forsyth Park which had an awesome farmers market on Saturday morning, coffee shops, grocery store and restaurants. Also close to the Dot stop for free transportation to other attractions. Brendan went out of his way to make sure our sleeping arrangements were extra comfortable, and we appreciated this so much. It was great to come home to the perfect little pool after exploring in Savannah's heat! We highly recommend this location!

Nice place right on the beach, place is clearly renovated and thoroughly cleaned. Everything you’d expect to have at home can be found in the apartment. Despite arriving at 3am, we had no issue passing through the gate and helped ourselves in the unit. Highly recommend and overall a very welcoming experience.

We had a very nice stay. Location is great as far as being able to walk to what we wanted to do. Unit is very clean and well stocked and we appreciated the coffee! As others have noted it is on a very noisy street. But we had read the reviews and packed earplugs so sleep was not an issue.

We got really lucky finding this place. The location was phenomenal! You could literally walk everywhere. We didn’t think the outside noise was loud and didn’t have any issues sleeping. Alyssa was very responsive and helpful with her recommendations.

Happy with Sarah and Michael’s place to stay during a girls only, first time trip to Savannah! Being located near Forsyth park, this was the perfect location, close to everything we wanted to see. The first floor of this home was great for 2 older gal traveling together, we each had our own bedroom/bathroom, and space to eat, relax and visit. The beautiful front door, elegant foyer, the style of decor, interesting artwork, and such beautiful chandeliers all added to the peaceful ambiance that we thoroughly enjoyed. We did not feel unsafe in this rental, and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thankfully we had a rental car because the walk would have been much too far for us, and we didn’t want to use public transit. Suggestions would be to bring a sleep mask if you are bothered by light at night because there is a security light on a nearby pole that shines into the bedrooms at night. Ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, we heard some voices, but a minimal issue. Loved it!

Loved this property. Our original stay in Savannah was extended by one night and after reaching out to Sarah & Mike, they had another property a few doors down from our original rental. We absolutely loved this property & will likely seek it out on our next visit. Bobbie & Darryl C.

WOW! Whenever I return to Savannah I will most definitely be staying here again! It was so beautiful! My daughters loved the little snack basket you left out for us in the kitchen. Before dinner arrived we walked a few blocks over to a beautiful park. It was a beautiful large green space with a playground, beautiful fountain and amazing old large trees surrounding it. The architecture was so awesome to look at as we walked or drive around the area! Everything was spotless and we felt right at home. Thank you for an awesome southern welcome!
