The cottage is separate from the main house, connected by a breezeway, above the garage. It is quaint and cozy. High end kitchen appliances include gas range, mini fridge, microwave and mini dishwasher. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a futon couch which folds down. It’s perfect for 1-2 adults, can comfortably fit 3 people if one is a child.

I travel constantly for busy and have stayed in many Airbnbs and our stay at Sarah’s property was without a doubt our best stay ever anywhere! Beautifully contemporary, pristinely clean, everything needed plus lovely extra touches with an extremely thoughtful, friendly, professional & very responsive host all in a very peaceful surrounding. We felt so comfortable and at home that now I am looking for future business opportunities to return to Westport just so we can stay at Sarah’s lovely barn!

Lynn was a wonderful host. This was my first private room in a host’s home and Lynn made me feel very welcomed and at home straight away. She did an excellent job at balancing hosting and providing space. She was happy to give recommendations for places to see, eat, enjoy live music & park to avoid crowds and fees. She was even thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs in case Mother Nature was too loud for my likings. The room boasted a great view of the sound and was private enough from the rest of the living spaces!

Great stay and highly recommended. A typical New England style house with the charm and quirks that come with it. I would never say not to stay here but to make sure you are a good fit for the home. We should have paid closer attention as our toddler had to be watched like a hawk. This is in no way the house or owners fault. Beyond that 13/10, amazing location, all walkable, and a fantastic quiet community. Our child loved the park that was one block away and the dad's loved the location being so close the NHRL robot combat facility. Great beach community and quiet enough to sleep with the windows open and enjoy the breeze.

Karen is a great host, friendly , fun and source of knowlegde. i lived in fairfield county for 20 years… leaving the US in 2016, ir was great to be back and in Karens home felt back home. Westport is a great location, snd the home provides a wonderful space to relax and to get ready for excursions.

We were visiting Fairfield for our youngest son's graduation. We are a big family, all adult children. The house was everything we had hoped for - a beautiful, roomy, easy to use kitchen with a big dining table where we could enjoy each other's company. Rooms and beds for all that were so comfortable. The scenery this time of the year was amazing. As a big family, having a place to meet and spend time together is of utmost importance for us and we were able to accomplish this during our stay. Thank you!
