Holiday home rentals in Sassi di Matera

This was a lovely stay! Andrea was incredibly helpful and a very warm host - he helped us find restaurants and bats with great views in Matera and allowed us to stow our things after checkout so we could keep exploring. It’s in a great location in Sassi with a gorgeous view. Highly recommend!

Domenico welcomed us and introduced us to the city of Matera, he gave us good advice to organize our visit. He was proactive and very considerate during our stay. We stayed 2 nights, the location is ideal and very close to the sassi, the accommodation is clean, very pleasant with very good bedding. Some restaurants as well as a convenience store are within a 5-minute walk. We loved it and will gladly come back.

Antonella is one of the nicest hosts we’ve had. She went above and beyond and was so lovely. The house is better than the pictures. Perfect location within walking distance to the Sassi of Matera. Its downstairs so it was really cool inside, a nice change from the heat outside. Overall wonderful cant fault it

I strongly recommend this location, the house is really amazing and our host is absolutely amazing. she is really answering the slightest question and even bothered to come at 10pm to see us when we had a water issue. the garden and the terrasses are really amazing. don't hesitate book it, it is great !

Mrs. Lorella was an exceptional person and always available. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to meet you in person and we had to do the selfcheck in which it was very easy as she always provided us with directions through photos and videos to implement it. The house matches the photos and amenities provided: cozy, clean and super fragrant with an ambient scent for each room that made each one different. It is very close to the center of Matera and the limits of the ZTL. Also, if you want to move towards Puglia like Alberobello, Locorotondo, it is located at a comfortable height for these trips nearby. I'll definitely be back here.

The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need for a great visit. Parking is nearby and you can easily walk to all the sights.

Matera is a wonderful place. The flat is confortable, easy to reach, and if you travel there by car you even have a space to park for free. Very quiet. There's coffee and tea, which is always a nice welcome

Roberto is a wonderful:, very friendly and accommodating host. He has renovated and designed his apartment very tastefully and authentically. It offers everything your heart desires, is absolutely quiet and centrally located and offers fantastic views of the beautiful city of Matera.

The apartment was immaculate and very modern with everything you could want for a comfortable stay and very convenient to many great restaurants, shopping and places of interest. Teresa and Marcus are very likeable hosts. It was great staying with them. Teresa has a wonderful flair to create and decorate the atmosphere. Marcus as an architect has also brought wonderful design to the old palace. It was a beautiful place and we felt comfortable right away. Thanks Teresa and Marcus.

Franca’s place is a unique historical home. It is not for anyone with mobility issues but we are 70 and fit and did fine. She has a comfortable bed and crisp, clean bedding. The kitchen has everything if you want to prepare meals. The shower is great and bathroom is modern. She left plenty of drinking water which we appreciated. There are lots of cheap eateries in the area and plenty of old town wanders for an enjoyable couple of days. Bari has a modern downtown next to the old town.

I recommend Manuela's house. Not everyone likes interiors decorated with an artistic soul, a million little things that make life more enjoyable, and wonderful cards with instructions and greetings in different places. Cats and a dog and chickens sometimes look for company, but they are not intrusive. Cicadas have been great for a day in the morning. There's a common area where you can relax and dine in the evening.

Daniele’s Apartment is perfect! We stayed there for a week in march. It was clean, cosy and cheap! It was great to have such nice temperature control, and the balcony was used everyday! We had a lovely time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone. The Gelato downstairs is also especially recommended ;).

We had an unforgettable and extraordinary stay at Casa Dario! It was perfect for six adults (3 couples). There were three spacious bedrooms and two large, impeccable bathrooms. The hosts are warm, welcoming and simply amazing… We felt at home. We had the chance to taste his famous focaccia! Huummm! In addition, we enjoyed swimming in the pool after the hot days discovering this beautiful region. So many things and villages to discover near the house. I would give it a 6, it was ⭐️ so perfect! Amazing location close to centre. Very beautiful and peaceful garden. Host was outstanding. All questions and requests were answered/fulfilled quickly. Even when we left the appartment the host was fine with receiving an urgent package by mail for us.

Nice and central apartment in the old town. The apartment was large and had all the necessary equipment. Andrea responded quickly and was helpful in carrying our luggage up the stairs. We also really appreciated the welcome gift we received. We recommend renting from Andrea!

Good new accommodation and well located for visiting Bari. You can do everything on foot: go to the beach, visit the old town, go shopping, go to the train station, etc. You can also have breakfast around the corner, which is convenient.

This is an excellent property with well appointed kitchen and laundry. It was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The garage was a welcome addition, despite available street parking. The keyless internet entry worked very well (but does require your phone to have data).

This place has a fun, eclectic style that feels both comfortable and stylish. The balcony alone is worth it...amazing view, especially in the morning. You're right in the heart of everything. We walked to great restaurants, shops, and the train station. It was spotless when we arrived, and the host was super responsive and easy to deal with. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Great place to stay close to the city center. Walkable to all of the attractions and restaurants. Great place for a couple or a family with one child.
