Holiday rentals with breakfast in Sassi di Matera

The apartment is as described, very clean. The welcome is very friendly. Breakfast (free) is very hearty. Good bedding. The small town has a very beautiful abbey, we meet people who say "hello", a rather rare thing these days. Great stay, thanks to our host.

we were very well received with early check-in by Mr. Pino extremely kind and decidedly very detailed in the explanations of the place we had underestimated but that we were useful in our stay in Matera. The area is quiet but to get to the center it is better to get around by car. The apartment is fairly new, super clean and very cool despite the high outdoor temperatures. They also left us everything we needed for breakfast. Overall a great experience, thank you so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Eleonora’s apartment. It was just gorgeous spotlessly clean light bright and spacious and the location was perfect. The view from the terrace was so lovely. Eleonora made us the yummiest pikelets for breakfast. It was also a bonus having a washing machine to wash our clothes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay while visiting stunning Matera.

Chiara's apartment is ideally located for visiting Matera and is spacious, very clean and complete with everything you need. It also has a very pleasant outdoor space. Chiara also provides a hearty breakfast! Highly recommended!

The room is incredible: a hot tub in the center of the room, a fireplace that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and an antique rose window that adds elegance. We stayed one night at Rocio's on the occasion of a visit to Matera. The location is great because you can arrive by car, parking right in front to unload the suitcases. I confirm that it takes 5 minutes on foot to access the Sassi, and there, the magic happens immediately. We did a good ten kilometers arriving in the late afternoon to visit this exceptional site. Rocio was very attentive, asking us if the heating was sufficient, etc... smooth and friendly communication. We highly recommend it, go ahead without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's house. Everything we needed was supplied, and more. Anita brought us fresh baked goods each morning, and there was an espresso machine, with pods for us to make our own coffees. The patio and garden were especially inviting each morning and evening, and we spent a lot of time sitting outside. The house was clean and supplied with everything we needed.

Everything was great. The water was short during the stay throughout the city of Matera, but the host was always attentive and willing to help. The only negative point is that it is a 3rd floor without an elevator.

This was a blissful stay. Petronela is a great person. She was more than kind and hospitable. The apartment is beautiful. Every detail was perfect. She even brought me a home cooked meal. The location is lovely. The streets, cafes, stores. The people around were happy and helpful. Even the temperature was just divine. The train stops close by. I recommend this place, for sure. For a real getaway. You deserve it.

Our stay at Monica' s house was one of the best we had! Excellent location in Sassi with great view just a few steps from the main attractions in Matera. Monica was kind and helpfull in everything we may needed!! The apartment is just like in the pictures, unique and with great view. I definetelly recommend it and I hope to be back again in the future!!

The place offers a wonderful experience with timeless charm. Composed of a room with a comfortable bed and a small bathroom upstairs, below there is an area with a table, fridge and a kitchen with microwave (no stove) that is still ideal as a support considering the various restaurants in the area. A plentiful and varied breakfast is also offered. The host is always responsive and kind. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of the this old city. Filomena was a great host who provided everything including a hearty breakfast. I would definitely come back here!

Michela was a perfect host: very kind and always available. His "breakfast of samples" made me appreciate the Matana frisella even in the morning when I wake up! The room is just as described and even if the kitchen is missing, equipping it a little is not a weight (also because microwave and fridge are available to guests). The location is very convenient because it is very close to the center but in a very quiet area of the city. Highly recommended!
