Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Sarasota

We had a great time at the Villas. This neighborhood is very peaceful and has all you need. We enjoyed being able to go to the pool and hot tub. The location is perfect - close to the beach and restaurants. Bea was quick to communicate and was helpful. Will be coming back.

Very relaxing atmosphere…comfortable bed…everything worked:AC, TV, and Denise was very responsive . She suggested excellent restaurants within walking distance. It’s a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown. Museums and Selby Gardens within walking distance.

Jaysons place is great. Although we had a very short visit, It’s beautiful, clean, comfortable and had supplies you don’t usually find in rentals. Jayson was very prompt in responding. Also a very nice young lady at the office along with Jayson handled a small parking issue upon arrival in less than 10 minutes. We had a wonderful time and would love to visit this condo again in the future.

If your looking for a place with lots to do yet quiet and inviting then look no further this is it! Great Water view , lots of dolphins an manatee’s. Pools beach, fishing, great eating! Go book it now, you won’t be sorry!

Ewelina’s property was both beautiful and functional. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The condo was tastefully decorated. The location is ideal for us, as it is close to downtown and not far from the beaches and the ballpark. Ewelina is an excellent host. She reached out in advance of our stay, communicated very clear instructions for entry, and stayed in touch while we were there. She responded very promptly to all the questions we had. We would love to return to Ewelina’s property again!!

After staying here we decided it was a perfect choice for our unique situation. If you’re visiting your super old family in Sun City Center this apartment is super close (13 minutes away) and also 13 minutes from the ocean with plenty of open fishing spots. We were able to take our small dog without issue and the complex is well set up for a dog and two teenagers. The pool area is great and John’s apartment feels brand new and well cared for. Nice location, nice host and when we come back to see our old ass grandma we will try to book here again.

This stay was amazing. Extremely beautiful, clean, comfortable, well stocked condo with everything you need for a family vacation. The one swimming pool is diagonal from the condo and just a short walk to the private beach. Perfect location and very close to the village. Richard was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We loved staying here! We will be booking this again for next year!

We live in the area and had extensive home repairs ongoing, so we needed a place to stay nearby. The condo was perfect and a step up from other options we've used and at a price we could afford. We stayed two weeks and felt very comfortable. Everything was well cared for, clean, and easy to use. The condo felt spacious and the view over the water was simply gorgeous, featuring dozens of pelicans every day we were there. Inside, the layout was simple and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and each of the bedrooms was perfect for us. The expansive master bath with a lovely shower, washer/dryer, and storage closest gave us room to stay clean and organized. Parking was easy with a reserved spot close to the elevator, and the hosts gave excellent and proactive instructions on what to do and how to do it. We had no problems getting into the unit and appreciated how peaceful and safe the place felt.

We have just spent a wonderful 10 days in Sarasota staying in Jennifer’s apartment at The Strand. The accommodation was perfect in every way; a real home from home with everything thoughtfully provided by our host - from toiletries and cleaning products to beachtowels and even a coolbox. The apartment was spotless and easily accessible and communication with our host was so simple. Jennifer always responded swiftly to any messages and nothing was ever too much trouble. We would not hesitate to return to this accommodation again and highly recommend both the apartment and our host, Jennifer, to anyone looking for high quality, comfortable surroundings for their holiday.

Super clean, quiet, comfy bed. We enjoyed the bayside pool. Nice views. Palm Bay club nice benefit as after a short walk over to the beach we enjoyed the chaises delivered and set up close to the water and hole drilled for our beach umbrella. Amazing sand is not over rated. Warm gulf waters and easy entry and exit. Breeze Trolley with their app made getting around without driving convenient . Lots of fun food and shops minutes away. This bayside spot a was a delight.

The location was great, close to village as well as crescent beach. Lots of restaurants, bars, and excursions close by. Private beach which is wonderful, they offer umbrella rentals for a very reasonable price. Two pools which allowed for plenty of space as neither pool was crowded. The condo came with adequate linen/towels with an exchange halfway through the week which was great. There were extra beach toys, umbrellas, and a cooler in the closet we found a few days in that came in handy.

Extremely proactive and responsive host. Very nice condo which was very clean and had everything we needed. Nice pool, hot tub, and workout facility. Location was close to downtown, restaurants, beaches, golf, and shopping.

We had a great stay at Ocean Club! This was hands down one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in — spotless bathrooms and fresh, tidy rooms throughout. The doors that opened from the living area to the balcony were such a nice touch and made the space feel open and airy. The beds were super comfortable, and we all slept great. Parking on the property was easy, which is always a bonus. The pool and beach access were truly second to none — just steps away and beautifully maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

My wife and I spontaneously booked a last-minute getaway at Colin’s condo, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. The condo was beautiful—just steps from the beach—and the view from the porch was absolutely stunning. We loved that beach chairs and umbrellas were included, which made our three days of relaxing by the ocean even more enjoyable. The location was great, with restaurants just a short drive away. I also took advantage of a well-equipped workout area just down the street, which was a nice bonus. The bed was very comfortable, and we made good use of the full-sized fridge during our stay. Colin was incredibly responsive and proactive in his communication, checking in frequently to ensure everything was going smoothly. The resort itself was spotless, and the staff were all warm and welcoming. It was the perfect short escape—we’d definitely come back!

We had a beautiful week at Martha’s condo!! We loved everything about it- spotlessly clean and well decorated, well stocked with towels, blankets, paper goods, kitchen items, beach gear… everything you could possibly be in need of. The view from the balcony is wonderful for relaxing and watching the beautiful sunset. The condo building and amenities were wonderful as well. The pool area was never crowded, many loungers, and a perfectly heated pool and hot tub. We found the location to be absolutely perfect- off a main road that takes you to downtown and beaches but tucked away and quiet. You can walk to downtown restaurants and shops and we even walked over the Lido Key bridge one evening to St. Armand’s Circle. Downtown Sarasota, beautiful Lido Key beach and St Armand’s Circle are all a quick 5-7 min car ride away. Martha was an excellent host, checked in on us and was responsive to anything we needed. We would return anytime without hesitation!! Just wonderful! Thankyou Martha!

We had a group of 9 adults and 2 babies and really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and loved having so many bathrooms. Place was very clean and we appreciated that there were beach towels, beach chairs and etc. The pool was nice and clean and someone came by to clean twice a week. Loved the open floor plan in the living room too. Leslie was super helpful and responsive. The stay pretty much had everything we needed.

Stop what you are doing and BOOK THIS PLACE!! Clean and spacious home ✔️ Fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, glasses, condiments, spices, etc) ✔️ Tons of amenities like hot tub, fire pit, egg chairs, hibachi grill, golfing area, etc ✔️ All the beach equipment that you need (chairs, tent, snorkel, masks) ✔️ PLUS the best Host who was always quick to respond to any questions and even installed a new thermostat while we were there because the old one was messing up the temp and we like a cool 70 degrees at home ✔️ And if that wasn’t amazing enough, the host also took us on TWO BOAT TRIPS!!! All we paid for was the gas and any drinks or snacks that we wanted to bring (plus a tip since the boat tours were the highlight of the trip). Vlad knew all the best spots for private island time, snorkeling, and dolphin watching!! In all honesty I spent a fair amount of time trying to decide if I wanted to write an accurate review or gatekeep this hidden gem… I decided not to gatekeep.

Ester and David’s home was exactly as listed. The photos were spot on. The house is absolutely adorable, comfortable and impeccably clean and organized. One of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. The backyard was so inviting, we k my wish we could have spent more time outside! Hoping next time we come to Sarasota this home will be available!

This was such a beautiful home! The pool and spa were amazing! Everything was as photographed! We loved it here and didn’t want to leave. We are making plans to book this home again for next year!

This home is well- maintained and has lovely outdoor spaces. The artwork in the home was unique and fun, not cookie-cutter or generic. I loved that. The amenities were just what was needed to prepare meals or enjoy ourselves. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, with friendly neighbors. Overall, this is a great location and property.

We were visiting family in Sarasota and the location was great. The house was very clean and really met our family’s needs. Short drive to the beach and we enjoyed the pool spa. Had a very enjoyable trip. Would stay at the house again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The house was just as shown and in a great neighborhood. I honestly have no complaints. The host is very responsive and helpful.

We truly enjoyed this place! Lynn and Matt were very nice and helpful throughout our stay. We will absolutely be returning next year, this was the perfect house and area. They don’t have this on the listing but they had several pool floats, noodles, googles, small pool toys, a beach wagon, beach chairs adult and kids, kids life jackets, a cooler, shark teeth scooper, and several other things! The kitchen was also well quipped! Our two dogs had a blast in the very large fenced in yard. Great hosts, 10/10 would recommend! We can’t wait to return!
