Cottage holiday rentals in Sarasota

This place was wonderful! And so are the hosts! So beautiful, very clean, well stocked & well appointed home. I SOOO VERY MUCH LOVED staying here. You can be sure that you will be well tended to AND have your own private space. Plenty of room. Dishes, dishwasher, pots, pans, towels, washer/dryer…everything you need! I can’t say enough about how accommodating & kind the owners are from afar & just how great this place is. Thank you, Andrea and Jennifer!

Marc and Dave were incredible. They were responsive and proactive! I will definitely be back. We had a family of 7 and even though it was small, we were comfortable. The bikes were an added bonus and amazing to use for our trips to the Daiquiri Deck! Although the weather didn’t cooperate we still had an amazing time and would 10000% recommend this place. Traveling with 5 kids can be stressful and they made accommodations seamless!

House is very nice and comfortable in great location on the island. Location was outstanding few steps from the beach less than five minutes walk beach furniture are not enough for the number of people so plan ahead how you’re gonna get beach furniture from Goodwill or people who are already leaving. It’s very convenient to be close from anywhere on the island And there are restaurants and gift shops five minutes walking from there. Kitchen was great and very well equipped the pool and the hot tub was amazing. Furniture overall was very comfortable but if you use special pillows bring it with you. The isolated room is a great plus but two rooms have no privacy at all and one of the bathrooms doesn’t even lock They take the number of people in the house very seriously so if u have friends with u in the trip but not staying in the same house don’t invite them over. Cheryl was a good communicator even after check out. Love Anna Maria and will be back soon

We had the best time - it was everything we could've wanted in a rental! This was our first time staying in Holmes Beach and we loved it. The house is close to everything in town. We used and enjoyed all the wonderful amenities that Craig provides - the golf cart (a must!), beach cruisers, beach wagon, umbrella and chairs. The pool, hot tub and hammock were also a highlight for us. We can't wait to come back!

A very cute, comfortable, clean and exceptionally appointed cottage. Brian is a wonderful host. We really enjoyed our stay there and look forward to visiting again. The SOS facility is a great place for family stays and is a major plus as well.

Madeline’s communication was first-class, offering clear check-in instructions and local recommendations that turned our weekend into a seamless escape. Every little touch—from the high-speed Wi-Fi to the thoughtful supply of beach chairs and umbrellas—was superior… the gold standard of hospitality. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for more: just a quick four-minute stroll to Crescent Beach’s powdery white sands, turquoise blue water and deep red, yellow and orange sunsets. Within steps you’ll find a lineup of dining options—fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants, laid-back bars serving sunset cocktails, and cozy cafés perfect for post-beach coffee. In every way, our stay was awesome!

This is a BEAUTIFUL place. There was a lovely welcome basket with toiletries when we arrived. Lots of fun board games. The back patio with hot tub are incredible, at night it is amazing. The host was really proactive in communicating with us, and was a pleasure to work with. Very, very quiet inside as well. With 2 bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom, you have lots of options. My son kept begging us to stay another day! We would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Tim and Jeannie are the best hosts ever! Communication and local recommendations are top notch! If you are like us, you’ll be on the go because Saint Petersburg offers so much with arts, culture and outdoor recreation that most of the time was being out and about. However, when you get back, you’ll feel like you’re at home and everything you need is right there! Sleep in and eat breakfast at the cottage, come back early and watch a movie or hit the hot tub or just do another load of laundry and hit the beach one more time! It’s so convenient and the best location ever! Thank you Tim and Jeannie :)

We really liked Bob’s place. So much we tried to book it for Christmas but it was already booked. We didn’t do any cooking as we were visiting with our boys and their family. Our pup loved exploring the backyard. Thank you again Bob for sharing your home.

Our family had a great stay! We traveled with a baby, toddler and two dogs and had plenty of space and everything we needed. Birgit was quick to respond when we had questions. The house is spacious and comfortable. We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach! And the convenience of having an outdoor shower to wash off the kids. There was lingering hurricane damage nearby, but Birgit’s place is pristine! We would definitely return in the future.

We LOVED staying at Christopher’s. The apartment was exactly what we needed. The neighborhood is adorable and so close to downtown. Christopher was an absolute gem of a host who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. So grateful! Would return.

Everything about our stay was as near to perfection as possible.The cottage interior is decorated in a modern minimalistic way to make the small cottage feel more spacious. Everything was clean, and we thought Lisa had thought of everything detail. She quickly responded to our two questions. When I need a place in St. Pete again, hers will be the first choice. Yhanks for making it a very relaxing place to be.

We stayed at this home for 2 weeks and the nature watching was fascinating. Alligators, turtles, birds and fish jumping out of the water. The home was comfortable and included everything one would need. The Wi-Fi was solid for zoom calls and remote work. The kitchen had every dish, pot, utensil for cooking. The AC worked great and the beds were super comfy. The host replied quickly to every question. I would stay here again. 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely perfect Airbnb in every way! The location could not be better. We laughed because we had dinner reservations at Pia’s Italian restaurant and realized it was right across the street. Talk about convenience! This was hands down the cleanest Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Uncle Finley left us a thoughtful welcome package with a bottle of wine, beer, water, orange juice, and more. It’s clear he’s put real care into every detail to make the stay extra comfortable. Phone chargers were exactly where you needed them (no hunting for outlets), there were doggie bowls and doggie bags for our pup, Uncle Finley was super responsive to questions and genuinely committed to taking care of both his guests and this beautiful home. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate just book it! Tip: In addition to Pia’s homemade pasta with pesto sauce, I’d also highly recommend the restaurant Pearl by Chef Karim for an unforgettable meal! The Pearl is a testament to culinary excellence.

This was our second summer in a row staying at the cottages. We always have a blast.

Place was great for me and my 3 daughters. Super cute old house with adorable kitchen and pool house. Had some trouble getting Into the pool house when we arrived but host was there in a flash to help us out. There was even a cooler, beach chairs and ice packs available for our use. Very convenient

This was a great stay for our family of 5 while visiting the Sarasota area. Beds were comfy, extra pillows and blankets available, very well stocked kitchen. AC worked great. We did have a small issue with the bunk beds not being made and a coverlet that was dirty. The host was quick to respond and even refunded part of our cleaning fee to compensate us. We were pleased with how it was handled. Don’t miss visiting The Ringling (plan to spend all day), Caspersen Beach (for shark teeth), the point of Anna Maria Island (for tons of huge shells and beautiful beaches with lots of wildlife). We also really liked this little neighborhood. Be sure to walk around the corner to meet Sheldon the tortoise.

This was our second year of spending a month at Aileen's place. Again, it was so perfect for my husband and I. We did have guests stay for a couple of nights and the air mattress is REALLY nice! Everything about the space is so wonderful. Clean, cute, everything you would need for a month. It is also close to so many beaches (Fort Desoto Park ( our favorite), St. Pete's beach, and Anna Maria Island beaches. It's close to all that Bradenton, St. Petersburg and Sarasota have to offer. We felt right at home the day we arrived and it was hard to say good-bye. We definitely hope to visit again!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the "All Hands on Deck" cottage in the Casa Limomada resort. The cottage is bright and airy and surprisingly large. The decor can be described as eclectic/whimsical/Tropical/beach/retro. Very comfortable and inviting. A washer and dryer (nice to have) are very conveniently situated just outside the back door off of the kitchen. Great location less than a block from the beautiful Lido public beach and an easy hike to the St. Armands Circle shops and restaurants.

I travel regularly for work. I’ve stayed at dozens of AirBnbs throughout the country. This was my best experience by a mile. I was legitimately sad to leave. Can’t recommend this spot enough!!!

Fabulous time at hidden cove - only thing to keep in mind is there are only 2 beach chairs so if you’re with a bunch of beach bound guests that could be a consideration. Loved our stay and would definitely stay again when we want to be in the Bradenton area.

House was very cozy comfortable and relaxing , Choose from many beaches around area , would stay there again.

This cottage was perfect for the 3 of us! Right by a low crowd beautiful beach and within walking distance of several restaurant. Also loved that they had beach chairs, umbrellas, flippers and googles available to use. Pretty much everything you need on a beach. Also provided coffee pods which was a nice touch - we were able to have coffee every morning! Loved this place and would definitely visit again.
