We stayed a week at this beautiful location and immediately felt at home. Sergio was very attentive and gave us numerous tips to explore the region. Even our dog felt at home and was more than welcome. The accommodation was clean.

What a dream stay at the Cascina Cavallo! Responsive owners, quality accommodation in a very quiet and ideally located place in this beautiful Piedmont. Spacious accommodation with rooms all with bathroom and a large outdoor area with swimming pool and tables under a covered terrace for good outdoor meals. Will we get back to that soon! Right at the beginning: Gianpiero's apartment is a converted attic, which has two consequences: First, it is relatively dark due to the small windows (which can be an advantage in summer) and second, the ceilings are sometimes very low (even for me as a man of average height). In particular, the ceiling above the stairs leading down from the elevated bedroom to the living area is extremely low. Many a head has been immortalized here. So, if you know like I do that you have to go out at night, you should practice a few times in daylight beforehand... But that's all there is to the criticism. The apartment was excellently equipped, the private terrace with a view directly of the vineyards was fantastic. The somewhat remote location was also perfect, but Canale can be reached by car in a few minutes. There are many, sometimes really excellent, restaurants/osterias in the area.

We had a wonderful stay, the accommodation was well equipped. The photographs do not do justice to how big the rooms are. If you are after a peaceful place to stay but within easy reach of amenities the this is the place for you. Katia dealt with any enquiries we had and was easy to contact, a very good host. As far as we are concerned you could not fail to have a relaxing time staying here but get to places easily, and we would not hesitate to book again if we return to the area.
