Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Santa Croce, Florence

This was our last AirBnB on a two-week trip and one of our two favorites. Location was priceless. It was very easy to walk everywhere, yet it was quiet and peaceful. The host was outstanding and communicated easily . We also arrived quite late and the directions to get inside were easy and it was not a problem to let ourselves in. The only thing to note for others is they say "second floor" but that is after one flight from street to first floor. Considering bags and any physical restrictions, it should be regarded as "three full flights of stairs" to climb. This was not easy for one of us with bags, so worth noting if this impacts you at all.

This was such a wonderful stay! We had the warmest welcome from Valentina. She really thought of everything! A super helpful map, lots of recommendations for where to eat and shop, and even gave us a gorgeous papier-mâché magnet for our house. She helped us with our bags, and even let us store them for the day while we explored Florence on our last day. We will definitely come back if we find ourselves in Florence again ❤️

Great spot right in the middle of the action in Florence. The street numbers are confusing - the city has two buildings with the same street number - but Francesco was very helpful and was in communication with us directly until he personally let us into the building. The apartment was beautiful. Note that you do need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other, and the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms. While you do have privacy with doors closed, you would have to walk by a bed to get to the bathroom in the night. The laundry was SO convenient. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was good, in easy walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and bars for aperitif. It is on the other side of the river from the typical tourist destinations like the David and the Uffizi, but because Florence is so easily walkable, it only took about 20 minutes to walk to any of those areas. This side of the river is definitely quieter, but still has plenty to do (including the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens which are not to be missed)! As far as communication, it was absolutely top notch. We had an issue where the handle on the water faucet in the kitchen broke on Sunday, and the host was extremely quick to respond, and had a plumber out to fix the problem in under an hour. We were shocked and impressed, particularly given it was a weekend. The only thing to be aware of is that there is no air conditioning in the bedroom. The A/C in the living room is very good, but the bedroom could get a bit hot at night. Still we would return!

Simona thought of so many details including a coffee maker and espresso maker. The location was close to everything with no more than a 30 minute walk to reach la Central Market and 5 minutes to Saint Ambrosia Market. Amazing apertive location with 10 minute walk. Staying in June temps were high and the AC provided was amazing. We will be back. Be sure to check out the local experiences like a pasta making class, it was amazing.

We spent two nights at Valentina's place. We appreciated her proactive approach before we arrived and she was very responsive to our messages when we had questions. There was a kitchen that was functional, the bathroom was clean and the terrace was the WOW highlight of our stay. There were 4 adults in the accommodation, which is a little tight, but for 2 nights it was perfect. The sofa bed and the bed were very comfortable and we were even able to do our laundry there. The location is perfect, the view from the terrace is breathtaking and we were able to walk to downtown Florence several times and we enjoyed the grocery store a few steps from the accommodation to stock up. Very nice quiet accommodation in Tuscan flair. Great complex with pool and great views. Quickly in Florence and on the roads to the excursion destinations. Definitely recommend! We'll be back. :)

We had a lovely stay with our family for a week. The apartment had an amazing private garden which totally made our stay, and host was very responsive. Train station and supermarket are 5 min drive away which is very convenient. We’d recommend having a car from our experience.

I wish we could give more stars! A wonderful place with even better hosts. Delightful hosts and a beautiful location. We could not have hoped for more.

Our family of four loved this home. Here’s what felt extra luxurious to us: a separate wing for the 22 yr old, 3 bathrooms, high quality bed linen and towels, ability to do laundry and cook, wine and goodies on arrival, and a beautiful and serene park view. Birdsong in the morning, fireflies in the evening, pure magic.

Great place, location, and attentive hosts. I highly recommend! No stairs which is nice if you have a bunch of luggage, you just walk right in. Clean and has everything you need to feel at home.

Fantastic place to stay! This was my second visit to this apartment because it’s in a perfect location, beautifully furnished, in a quiet neighborhood but five minutes from everything. The two bedrooms are very private and have a nice amount of space between them. Can’t recommend this more highly!

This was a lovely, centrally located and spacious apartment. Lots of stairs but there is also a small elevator - you can take multiple trips up with luggage. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The outdoor terrace was beautiful with flowers and a stunning view of the duomo. 2 bathrooms with one smaller than the other - typical euro bathrooms and they were clean. The a/c worked well. Walkable to everything. My only comment - which is not about the apartment itself - is that the area immediately surrounding the duomo wasn’t as pretty as I thought it would be. Duomo was gorgeous, but the immediate area felt surrounded with some shady characters. Next time we might try to stay near the piazza Santa trinita which felt more upscale. Carlotta is a great host and communicated clearly and frequently with local recommendations. I’d recommend this rental.

We loved staying at Bryan and Marina’s beautiful place. It was in an idyllic place, overlooking the valley, with lush garden surrounds. The atmosphere was rustic snd peaceful but we had everything we needed. With a car, we were able to explore the area (Siena, Lucca, Florence), with some great local dining options. Bryan and Marina were helpful and friendly, but Aldo left us to do our own thing. What a beautiful place they have created together.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Giampaolo met us at door for check-in even though our arrival was later than expected due to train delays. He was also very communicative throughout our stay. Giampaolo’s place was one of the best parts of our vacation in Florence. Our kids always looked forward to coming back here at the end of the day. It was truly a home away from home. We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back here again in the future.

Our stay in Florence was truly special thanks to our incredibly welcoming host. Even before we arrived, we felt warmth and welcomed through their thoughtful communication and helpful tips. The apartment was spotless, well organized, and easy to settle into with clear instructions. Its location was perfect, just a short walk to the Duomo, Uffizi, and many of Florence’s iconic sights and hidden gems. The host’s local recommendations helped us experience the real Florence beyond the tourist spots, including some truly delicious places to eat. Their hospitality made us fall in love with the city. This is the Italy we long for, and we will definitely be back.

We loved this space and when we come to Florence again we will most definitely book here. It was a cool, quiet oasis on the beautiful relaxing side of the Arno. The location was perfect with an easy walk to all the sites but also so quiet and peaceful. We loved the kitchen and cooked multiple days and sat on the sweet patio and enjoyed the local wine. The space was clean and cool and the layout was perfect for 2 people. There’s also a couch bed if another person or one or two children were there. Our hosts were so accommodating and friendly! We have so much love for this special spot in Florence.

I can’t say enough about how perfect this place was for our first stay in Florence. Frances’s was just lovely and so great about recommendations for restaurants and everything else. Any time I contacted her with a question she was very quick to replay. I felt absolutely at home and you couldn’t find a better location for sightseeing g within the city of Florence
