Monthly Rentals in As Somozas

We stayed a month in April 2025. Angel greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place. Later on he provided us with useful recommendations for places to see, and restaurants. Angel's mother who lives in a separate building within the perimeter of the gardens was lovely and welcoming, and became a second mother to our Golden Retriever. We loved the location, just a few minutes drive to numerous fantastic beaches, or into Valdovino town where there are a few good bars and restaurants. Ferrol (bigger town) with everything you need is only 15-20 mins away. Great location for exploring along the coast, or to Santiago/Lugo/A Caruna for day trips. We will plan to come back if we can.

Manuel’s house is great. I wish we had been able to stay longer. There is a bar nearby, a pharmacy, and a restaurant. Very short driving distance there is a small supermarket in most surprising of all, there is a castle. The countryside is epically beautiful. Manuel is an outstanding host, thank you Manuel!
