It is a beautiful place to stay on Bethel Island . It far exceeded our expectations in cleanliness and amenities . Perfect for families and boating people . We loved everything about it !! Thank you Morgan

To be very honest everything was perfect. We all are overwhelmed. The only thing that I must mention is that for an acommodation of 6 adults, only one bathroom is a bit difficult to manage. But that is not a fault of the host, we booked it knowing this. I will definitely recommend this place to others as well.

I booked super last minute, and Henry was great. Very chill. His place matched the photos exactly. Neat, clean, and the w/d was a nice bonus! Close to the lake and vegan options (Vegan Mob was amazing). Although I couldn't take advantage of it, I appreciate the 3:00 check-in and 12:00 check-out. Neighborhood is pretty quiet with an occasional dog barking. Street parking was available. I will definitely stay again. 💜

Awesome place, great people. Hosts and other guests where really friendly and helpful. I was even allowed to leave my luggage until the evening after my check-out. Totally recommended!

Leda’s Sunshine House was the perfect weekend getaway for a solo female traveler. She let me book last minute (an hour before I arrived!) without hesitation! She was more than warm and hospitable, going the extra mile to make me feel welcome in her home. My room and designated bathroom felt private, but I also felt welcome in shared rooms like the kitchen and living room. I had a hot breakfast and fresh coffee waiting for me each morning! Leda provided suggestions to places around town and even invited me to attend a class with her since I’d mentioned I practice yoga! I felt less like a stranger renting a room and more like a visiting friend by the time I left her home. 10/10 I would recommend this booking to anyone, especially a solo female traveler looking for a safe and friendly place to stay. I cannot say enough nice things about Leda and her hospitality! My stay at the Sunshine House made my trip truly memorable!

Beautiful location, host was very responsive and accommodating.

It is easy to find the place. But it seems no public transportation nearby. I drove to Aaron’s house. Consider the price, I believe it was absolutely worth what I paid. Additionally Aaron is very kind and responsive. I recommend to those with limited budget while need to stay in East Bay Area temporarily, particularly with your own car.

Sonja helped me when I needed it most. The safety was important. I recommend her.

Awesome house! The pictures don’t do it justice. This was the perfect place for my family to stay for our daughter’s UC Berkeley graduation. The house is super clean, beautifully furnished and well provisioned. The spaces allowed our family to have privacy and yet be together. Such a great location. You feel like you are far away from it all but everything is just minutes away. So convenient. I highly recommend this home.

Great stay!

This home was clean and has nice spaces for a family. The kitchen has plenty of room and is well-appointed. The 3 beds were all very comfortable. The living room was able to accommodate 7 in comfortable seating when we had some relatives over to watch a football game. The outside area is big and fully fences, if you are traveling with a dog. It is convenient to the freeway, bike routes (if you travel with your bike like we do), and downtown Walnut Creek. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this highly.

Quiet cozy neighborhood, convenient travel and comfortable living spaces.

Very spacious home and Roland was a very kind and attentive host. Comfortable beds and couches, brand new oven in the kitchen, and the patio in back was a nice retreat at the end of the day. Roland was always available when we had questions. The house is also easy to reach, especially if arriving by taxi or bus. A corner store across the street was great for a couple things we forgot, and some ingredients for cooking. This neighborhood is pretty rough, though, and you should keep this in mind when booking. It was not a big deal for us as we used to live in this part of Oakland and knew what we were going into, but for a young family or someone not familiar with Oakland, this might be a shock. The home is a great home base for a trip, and it is very close to public transit (huge!), but this neighborhood isn't somewhere you'll enjoy exploring on a walk as a tourist. Parking is also pretty bad, you are unlikely to find a spot on the block the house is on.

Super comfy, clean, and spacious apartment. The location is great for walking with various restaurants within walking distance. There is a Trader Joe's nearby for groceries. Jane was responsive. All in all, it was a great choice and I would recommend it highly.

The host went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. It’s in a very convenient location. Location is safe & walkable. I will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

I stayed for about a week and a half in this home, and would have stayed even longer had it been available. Very much enjoyed my time here, mainly because of its incredible location near groceries, dining, Lake Merritt and freeway. Home was private and quiet, with everything I needed, including a dedicated work space. Hosts were friendly and accommodating, and I absolutely would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The home was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Good pillows and towels. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the park down the road. Thanks so much.

Fouad is a great host and went above and beyond for any of our requests. He took the chance to talk and connect with us and even went out of his way to even get us some fruits from his garden. The house is really clean with a beautiful view and an easy check in. It felt like our home away from home. I highly recommend this place for anyone considering to stay here.

Lovely property. Peaceful and clean. The home is located on the edge of a housing development where it is quiet. The house provided easy access to the area we wished to explore. The host was friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home and would rent the property again if we return to this area soon.

Loved staying with Tingting and Lifestyle Museum! They were super cooperative and responsive, helpful for anything that we needed. We were in a pinch to get a place, and it worked out perfectly. They recently updated the place and it looks great, also super clean with a beautiful view. Couldn’t recommend more!! 10 stars!
