We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

Very nice neighborhood and clean apartment

The casita was perfect for one or two guests, intimate space but did the job. It was very clean, in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We took a walk one of the mornings to a nearby coffee shop which was very peaceful and enjoyable. The location is a short drive to downtown and the beach which was very convenient. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy little cottage! The space was thoughtfully stocked with common personal care and household items—perfect for those little things you might forget while traveling. We also really appreciated the extra touches like snacks and coffee, which made us feel right at home. One of the best parts was how accommodating the hosts were to our fur babies—it’s always a relief to find a truly pet-friendly spot. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Excellent place. We loved the location relative to the sites we wanted to see. Free parking, laundry, very well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed. We were very comfortable and happy here. And as a host Wendy was phenomenal. One of the most responsive hosts I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with on Airbnb. Thank you Wendy!!!

Desiree is such a sweet host! My husband, five month old, and I stayed in her Airbnb and we very much enjoyed our time. The place was well kept and clean. She had the guest house stocked with all the essentials which made it so nice and convenient. Anytime we had a question or request, she was quick to respond and resolve. The location is close to many great coffee shops, restaurants, and things to do. Glad we found this place and would definitely book it again in the future!!

We really enjoyed our stay! The space was cozy, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful—perfect for relaxing. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like toiletries and bottled water, which made settling in easy. The location was also great—centrally located and walkable to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. It had everything we needed for a smooth, enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend!

Jeanne and John's place was exactly as advertised in the description and photographs. The backyard and pool were beautiful unfortunately the weather and our schedule of events did not permit us time to indulge. If we ever needed a place in the area again we would definitely reserve another stay. We felt so welcomed and the extras were so thoughtful...like a balloon for my husband's birthday and a handwritten welcome letter. Thank you for the hospitality!

Location was amazing, super close to the coast, restaurants, market, freeway. I loved spending time at Sunset Cliffs watching the surfers! Bed was comfy, and Mary was responsive, kind, and helpful. I was a single traveler, and felt like there was plenty of space for me. If you're not planning on spending too much time there, it could be doable with 2 adults, but tight. Note that the bathroom/shower area is not well lit, if you need that for safety reasons. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and would consider this airbnb again in the future!

We've visited San Diego for years and enjoy this area of the city to visit family, get great mid-eastern food and visit Mount Helix. Mr. Helix has spectacular views from the Mexican Border to North County San Diego and this Da Hui Hut gave a front row seat since its located on it! The Hawaiian atmosphere made my wife feel like see was back home in Kona. This place offered exceptional value and we can't wait to visit again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stephanie's place! The space was spotless and made me feel right at home. The location was fantastic and the check-in process was incredibly easy. Stephanie was an outstanding host, always quick to respond to any questions. I especially loved the rain shower! I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting San Diego and would definitely love to stay here again!

Staying here off the grid (somewhat lol) was an absolute treat for my bf and I. Check in was easy peasy, and everything was exactly as described. What a fun little getaway only about 30 minutes away from most beaches and attractions. Would definitely return!

We stayed here for our Honeymoon Getaway, and I think this was just perfect for it! It had everything we needed as a young couple there to checkout the town. Nice fully stocked little kitchen perfect to prepare a few things in house, or have a refrigerator and microwave to save the leftovers after eating out. They even a few breakfast items and things stowed away in the pantry closet that we found very helpful. Everything was as described, and very comfortable and clean. We would stay again 🥰

The place was ADORABLE and you could tell there was a women’s touch, my wife LOVED IT! Omar was very open to pets, our pup Beast was extremely comfy. We had a small issue with the lock but Omar had it fixed in a matter of minutes and anytime I reached out he replied immediately. The neighborhood was National City which isn’t La Jolla. The unit is next to a church so there were “choir nights” which would have been nice to know. Other than that very clean, very roomy with a full kitchen. There is no washer/dryer so an extended stay will be challenging but we managed. We would absolutely stay here again in the future! THANK YOU AGAIN OMAR!!

Great place to stay in SD. Good neighborhood, quiet and peaceful. Walkable to downtown (~2.5m).

Carrie's Casita was perfect for the two of us. A private little courtyard with lemon and orange trees and the scent of jasmine was very welcoming! The studio-style space was very comfortable and well-appointed. We took advantage of the outdoor seating for downtime after busy mornings of sightseeing. The walkable neighborhood has many architecturally interesting, historic homes with amazing front gardens filled with succulents and cacti of all shapes and sizes. The location is great for accessing great restaurants and boutiques. We would love to visit again!

Matias’s place was in a convenient location and exactly as listed!

We had such a lovely time at Jane's casita. It was so quiet, walkable to everything, and peaceful. Lots of birds to be seen from the patio. I'm glad we stayed here for our San Diego vacation and would definitely stay here again! Cute decor, too :)

A 5 star experience all around, Robert sent me detailed steps on the easiest way to find the place, and had pre programed the door for a code. Once inside the place was immaculate clean, and so very cozy. It's located walking distance to both beaches, and very close to some awesome hole in the wall food spots. However no place is not without a small fault, this is a Pro/Con the amazing natural lighting it offers is great unless you're trying to sleep in, bring an eye mask if you're a bit light sensitive like I can be. That being said we'll be booking here again next summer without question!

my daughter and I stayed at Susie and Britt's poolhouse for 6 nights when we were in the San Diego area for a wedding. At first we thought we would look for a beach rental but then heard that it can be foggy on the coast during May and June and going 5 miles inland can make a big difference with weather. we looked in Rancho Sante Fe because that we where the wedding venue was located and we really hit the jackpot! Everything is just as described- very relaxing times in the jacuzzi and by the fire pit in the evenings. The travel to the surrounding SanDiego sights was super easy. Highly recommend this rental!!!

One of the most spacious-feeling casitas I've stayed in- wonderful layout and a great size for our family of three. Spotlessly clean and great communication with the host made for a great stay. Love the central location and access to walkable neighborhoods.
