Apartment holiday rentals in San Diego Bay

Small cottage at the back of the house in a quiet neighborhood. Hard to believe that a major highway is just two minutes away. Good supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. Restaurants and shops in North Park also within walking distance. Easy to get around by car as well. Lots of hot water in bathroom. Kitchen is small though adequately stocked. While the living room looks out onto the patio of the house, it was quite private during my 5 days there.

We had a great weekend in San Diego staying here. The apartment is very clean, building is chic, and the bed was very comfortable. The area makes it central to walk / drive to lots of different neighborhoods in San Diego. The actual surrounding streets aren't very cute to walk on, but it is still a very convenient location and 20 minute walk to the Midway Museum / Broadway pier. The host was great and highly communicative. Overall a very positive experience.

Great host, everything in terms of shops and restaurants are nearby and I would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful airbnb — the host thought of everything. It was suuuuper cute and I would go back in a heartbeat. Loved the gated back porch, the full kitchen, and how helpful the host was.

Victoria’s place is perfect for people visiting San Diego and want to live in a peaceful neighborhood. The house with all the additional beach towel and chairs helped us a lot while visiting the nearby beaches. The deck is also perfect to enjoy in the summer and the big futon is super comfy for the additional person.

My daughter and I stayed here while we explored San Diego. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and even though we were close to the airport it was never an issue. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved the outside area as well!! We felt safe here.

The place is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It’s a pretty small apartment but it’s extremely comfortable.

This place is located in the heart of South Park, close to balboa park, a short drive to North Park, and with 10 minutes of downtown. Great place with lots of outdoor plants, privacy, and plenty of amenities.

This was a great place right next to both beaches. Very nice and modern furnishing with nice bathroom and heated toilet seat lol. Great location would stay again.

Jessica’s place was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect, right next to Balboa Park, which makes it very convenient to get around the city. The home itself is spacious, with both the bedroom and living area beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated. What truly sets this place apart is the sense of safety and privacy. Unlike many homes in the area, this one is secured behind a large front gate, which gives it a very private and secure feel. It also includes a dedicated parking space, which was a huge plus. Above all, Jessica is a warm and incredibly kind host. If I ever visit San Diego again, I would definitely love to stay here once more.

This location is close to so many great amenities and parks. My favorite part was our peaceful morning walks around the neighborhood and discovering nearby cafes. We were a group of four ladies and felt very safe the entire time. Parking is street only, which can be a little tricky at night, but I was always able to find a spot just a block away. The home itself is super cozy—perfect for a group of four. It was very clean and well-organized. I really appreciated the little touches like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided, something not every Airbnb offers! If you're planning to hit the beach, make sure to bring beach towels and maybe a blanket to lay on. Many beaches in San Diego don’t have much shade, so be prepared for the sun! Thank you for letting us stay in your cute place. Also, shoutout to Paul—he was always available and responded to my texts immediately. Great host!

Unbeatable location - Museum of Contemporary Art and the Cove are both within waking distance. The place is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful spot despite being so close to the cafes, shops and major attractions. Would recommend staying here if solo traveling or in group of 2.

We loved almost every aspect of our stay in this adorable rental! We would 100% stay again if we ever return to the SD area. The only negative thing about our entire stay was we believed reviews that said it was safe to walk to Little Italy. I 100% disagree & do NOT think it is safe AT ALL to walk. At 2pm on a Thursday we walked right past some unhoused people who were living under a bridge 0.2mi from the rental. They were heating up illegal dr*gs in a spoon with a lighter. We clearly saw the syringe/needle they were using to shoot it into their arms. We felt trapped because there’s a fence in the middle of the road so we couldn’t cross the street. Nothing happened & we walked on but I was greatly rattled. We told the host about it & they were GREAT, very reassuring, & called us immediately. We chose to use Lyft for the rest of our stay. We felt safe the rest of the time. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Host even provided a steamer & toaster for us. Truly above & beyond great!

We enjoyed our stay here very much!Checking in was seamless as the instructions were very helpful. The photos look exactly like the place, it’s very clean, and you have everything you need to feel right at home- even parking. We did experience a noisy neighbor but the host responded immediately to address it and we were able to continue to enjoy our stay. I would definitely book again! It was the perfect place for my little family.

Steve was very communicative and provided clear instructions. The place was very clean, with beautiful views. The pool area of the complex was also extremely nice. Everything was just as described. This rental is perfect for those looking for a quiet place to relax with a high level of security. If safety is your top priority this is a good choice.

Super convenient location - just minutes from the beach!! And all of the beach gear you could think of (beach bag, beach towels/chairs, umbrella, beach games, etc.) was provided making our trip super easy :)

Charlotta was very helpful with the instructions and communicative. The apartment was perfect for our stay to watch the Padres play. Lots of walkable things to do. The apartment felt like home and was comfortable. Easy check in and checkout. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone you wants bay and city views.

I'll say Yes! My family absolutely had a great time staying at Melissa’s place. A wonderful and cozy apartment, walkable environment with restaurants and short drive to everything you'll need including getting to the highway. This place was wonderful! I would absolutely stay again! Easily the most clean airbnb I have stayed at. The location made me nervous at first but it ended up being completely fine, it only looks “scary” because it’s an industrial area. The noise was hardly noticeable once inside and the fan/ac was on, and even outside it didn’t bother me at all- I can see how it may drive others crazy though, so keep in mind it is very loud. The kitchen had all the tools you may need to cook dinner, and I love that it has in-unit laundry. (This was very helpful because they do not give you very many towels- So we needed to wash them a couple times throughout the week. More towels would be very convenient) Overall the place was amazing and the other tenants in the building made me feel much more comfortable being in a new area. It felt like a small hotel.
