⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Soulful Retreat at Cloud Mountain We had the most peaceful and restorative stay at this guest home in Jamul. My partner was recovering from a hospital stay, and this place offered everything we needed—quiet, nature, and healing energy. The guest house was spotless and cozy, with thoughtful touches. We did yoga on the deck, hiked among boulders, watched every sunrise and sunset, and soaked in the hot tub under the stars. The coastal breeze, birdsong, and privacy made it feel like a true escape. We loved connecting with the warm, welcoming hosts and their family as well as their sweet animal companions both cats and dogs—including a very friendly pig named Violet! We hardly heard a single car or plane during our stay. If you're looking to reconnect with nature, this is the place. We left feeling calm, refreshed, and recharged—and we’ve already planned our return to Cloud Mountain. No need to look any further—this place is something special!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nancy's place had windows everywhere, and was light and bright. It was so charming, set away in its own space, with a nice little patio. Felt very cozy and comfortable and worlds away from everything. In case you need a friend to keep you company, the dogs are around for some pets and a game of catch the stick, or for guarding the orchard. I liked the peace/quiet at night, but also liked knowing we were relatively close to town and didn't have to drive far to access food and the beach. Nancy is a special host with deep knowledge of the area, and is a great communicator. Could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend her cottage for a stay if you need some R&R.

Great spot! The description is very accurate. Amazing location with short walks to two different beaches - one smaller and more secluded, and one bigger and more popular. Both were lots of fun. Plenty of restaurant options (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) within walking distance, and also short drives to Laguna and Dana Point. Jynel was an excellent host with perfect instructions. Would highly recommend! No AC but lots of doors and windows to open for the ocean breeze, and blackout shades to keep the room cool. Thanks Jynel and Ryan!

Great spot to relax outside of Yosemite. Cute local town with some good food. The lake was an extreme plus, we decided to have a beach day at the lake down the street! Frances was a great host

We had a lovely time at Richard and Yuka’s guesthouse. They were very kind and welcoming. We could access all the Sea Ranch amenities if we wished to do so (pool, pickleball, tennis, lodge). We took some gorgeous walks a short drive away. The Sea Ranch Chapel is a wonder unto itself. Any restaurants require a bit of a drive and the guesthouse has limited cooking capacity so do plan ahead. Overall a lovely stay with a lovely family.

Valerie’s place was phenomenal. I felt right at home. It felt like a vacation within a vacation. I felt safe and comfortable. The place is pristine and so beautiful. Will definitely stay again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Christiana's, the location was beautiful and relaxing, super quiet, the cabin is very lovingly crafted and put together. The space felt very warm and inviting. Christiana was a responsive host but also gave us our privacy. The trees and surrounding countryside were delightful to explore.

We certainly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful casita! As was mentioned in previous reviews, the views are much more impressive in person than what the pictures can show. This casita was very well equipped. Jolene and Dane were very responsive hosts. We will highly recommend this casita to our friends and family.

Jonathan’s place was a much needed retreat! So peaceful and cozy. The view was beautiful! I would stay here again.

My partner and I had a memorable stay at the guest house loft in spring valley. From the ride down quail canyon with the provided golf cart, to soaking in the outdoor tub, and enjoying an outdoor movie by the fire. We certainly enjoyed starting and ending our day at spring valley. Everything we set out to do was a nice 25-30 minute drive away, to beaches and museums and dining experiences, we certainly didn't mind the short trips as we were able to come back to a beautiful private canyon that the sun would hit just right as we unwind. Allison was very responsive, and all instructions very clear. We recommend this place to our friends and family, and hope to visit again sometime.

This spot was just what I needed for this trip! Leticia was very good at communicating for check in and made it known I could easily contact her if there was any issues. The accomodation was lovely, comfortable and felt very homely. I was very happy with this stay and I’ll happily stay here again. Leticia and her husband are gorgeous and their puppies are the cutest! The place was fantastic. A little tricky to get to especially if coming from Malibu in the fog! Worth the trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Charming, peaceful, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well appointed. We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect location. Close to everything you could possibly need, located in a delightful, quiet neighborhood. Lovely outdoor area with barbecue and our personal favorite was the balcony with fire pit which was perfect for relaxing with a drink after dinner. Pete was friendly, responsive and clearly pays great attention to detail as there were so many special touches. We had a wonderful stay made even better with the sweetest “greeter” Rudy the dog. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Guadalupe’s place for 10 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The home was impeccably clean, thoughtfully furnished, and tucked away just enough to provide a peaceful escape from the busy pace of Los Angeles. In our opinion, the location was ideal—quiet and safe, yet conveniently situated for getting anywhere we needed to go. Guadalupe and her co-hosts were communicative, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. This was truly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again on our next trip to LA.

We had a lovely weekend in this beautiful studio home. The high ceilings and sweeping views of the canyon make it feel bright, airy, and dreamy. We loved waking up and watching the sunrise from bed. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. We had some issues with the internet/power but Kelli was responsive and helped us resolve them.

This place was ideal for a longer stay. Unfortunately we were only here for the night but the laundry facility was helpful as we are on a long road trip. The casita was so welcoming. The door was open and the lights were on. We slept with the windows cracked and it felt amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided. Truly exceptional place!

My wife and I recently stayed at HiC and Jeff’s charming unit. The thoughtful details made our stay special, with an incredibly comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. All the amenities, local recommendations, and small touches ensured a relaxing getaway. The beautiful outdoor areas among the redwood trees provided a peaceful retreat to unwind. HiC was welcoming and attentive, making our stay exceptional. We would definitely return to this lovely unit and recommend it for anyone seeking a serene escape in nature!

Stayed at the Love’s Nest property for our Yosemite destination wedding. Would absolutely stay there again. Host & team were excellent on all fronts. Mattress was excellent. Towels were good quality. The Love Nest in the loft brought back “let’s build a fort” childhood nostalgic vibe….. loved it. Only a couple minor issues. Lighting in the bathroom is adequate for a dude, not bright enough for a bride to get ready for her wedding. Property is close to park, but still can be 45-90 min drive to entrances. Can be tricky to find driveway initially. Recommend dropping a pin and labeling it for yourself. Don’t let these little things deter you though. This place is awesome.
