Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Salzburg

A really nice house in a very good location as a starting point for trips to Salzburg or excursions to the surrounding area. Parking is possible directly on the driveway in front of the house. A large supermarket can be reached in a few minutes' drive. We can recommend the place and would also book with Olessa again.

Accommodation was very nice. It was a little warm, but there were also two fans. The facility was great. Everything was clean. Nothing was missing. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. We were on the road a lot and it was always pleasant to come back to the accommodation. Very cozy.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

We had a wonderful time at Karin's accommodation. Karins parents welcomed us very lovingly, with an extra game basket for our 18-month-old daughter, tips for the area and just a nice conversation. The accommodation is quietly located on the upper floor - you have your privacy and everything your heart desires. The garden was also great. We will be happy to come back.

Great location, centrally located, and walkable to all the places in Old Town. Apartment was small but clean and has everything you need for a short visit to Salzburg. Robert was good at communicating. Would highly recommend to others.

The apartment is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished. It’s truly a home away from home, with a full bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a large double bed, and a living room with a single bed. The layout can comfortably accommodate 4 people. More importantly, the apartment is within walking distance to all major attractions as well as numerous restaurants in the old town. The only drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor but there is no elevator, which could be difficult for people with mobility issues or carrying large bags. The host is warm, responsive, and extremely thoughtful. He goes out of his way to accommodate us during our stay. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Salzburg.

We loved the place. Rosmarie greeted us with the house keys and gave us a tour of the 2 bedroom, living room, eat -in kitchen and bathroom apartment. We liked the balcony of the apartment which was set up with table and chairs for enjoying dinner as Sun sets late this time of the year. The apartment was comfortable, with well equipped kitchen and washer and had a warm, cozy feel. We appreciated Rosemarie’s welcoming gift of delectable and homemade carrot cake. Maria greeted us when we arrived. Friendly with a spotless apartment located on a quiet street. 10 minute walk to nearest train station. A few bus stations in walking distance nearby which was useful. The apartment was spacious. Bed was firm and comfortable. Overall we had a nice stay and would come back again!

Michael's apartment is in a fantastic location in the old part of Salzburg, making it easy to come and go throughout the day. It was easy to walk to all the tourist attractions and meet up with various tours that we booked. The apartment itself is spacious, very clean and was fitted out with everything we needed. We will definitely return if back in this beautiful city.

I had an amazing stay with Peter. His home is absolutely beautiful, close to a bus stop, restaurants, and within walking distance to old town. Peter was very kind and lovely to talk to. I had an excellent time in salzburg and would definitely recommend staying here!

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

Evelyn was very receptive with all communications prior to our arrival. She provided very detailed instructions on the self check-in process, which went very smoothly. The apartment has all the required amenities, was clean and spacious. Its location provides easy access to the Salzburg Castle, the city itself, shops, supermarkets restaurants, etc. We stayed for two days and the cost was extremely competitive when compared to other accommodation places. We also had three bicycles which we were able to store securely in the seller for the duration of our day. I would have liked to have met Evelyn in person, but I understand that people may wish to keep their business separate from their private lives. I have no complaints whatsoever about our stay at this accommodation.

The apartment is idyllically located in a top condition and has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Traunstein. It is about 45 minutes on foot to the nearest town and about 20 minutes to the nearest swimming area. If you want to be flexible, a car is recommended or for sporty people bicycles or e-bikes. In the apartment, you can relax well, enjoy the beautiful view and tranquility and relax well. Your hostess is very kind and relaxed and can give you good tips for activities. We had a very nice short trip with Elisabeth. The accommodation is in a beautiful setting and we would have liked to stay longer to see more. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. We'd be happy to come back. :)

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

Wonderful, responsive hostess. Bea’s apartment is cozy and chic. Apartment was clean and well equipped for our 9 day stay. Bed was comfortable. The apartment is in a private home, situated in a peaceful neighborhood. Wonderful views of the mountains. Salzburg is a quaint town where the locals are friendly and the surroundings mountains are magnificent and the nearby lakes are emerald green. We enjoyed our stay very much.

When we arrived at the place, we were impressed by the beautiful surrounding landscape. The check-in process is well described and was conquered on the first try. The apartment breathed a piece of home on us and was a great starting point for all-day hiking trips. The apartment has amazing views of the surrounding countryside and tops of the Alps, the sunrise here is captivating. We didn't want to leave. Thank you 😉👍
