Apartment holiday rentals in Salzburg

Hard to have a better situated apartment than this in Salzburg if you intend to experience the old town. The cathedral, churches, great food, better pastries are all right down stairs from the unit! Felix was very responsive, helpful, and flexible. The free cold beer in the fridge on check-in with custom labels was a welcoming touch and was a nice way to cool off and refresh after a long hot travel day. He allowed us to store our luggage down stairs after checkout for a short time so we could attend a mass that got out later than the check out time, so extra points for hospitality! I asked lots of questions about downtown, food, music, etc and he was always full of helpful suggestions from a locals point of view. If I ever return to Salzburg, ok coming straight back here!

Lena was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and flexible. The apartment was very clean and chic, and the surroundings were very quiet. From the train station, you can be in Salzburg in just a few minutes. There is probably a construction site or something because you could not use the bus stop near the apartment, so better bring a bike or car otherwise it is a distance to walk especially in the evening from the train station (about 30 minutes). All in all, the apartment is great and highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place. It was an easy walk or ride on the hotel shuttle from the parking area and we were given very clear instructions for check in. Christina was a very responsive host. The apartment was so cute and comfortable and the view was even better than in photos. We loved our visit to the Hallstatt area and would not hesitate to stay at Christina’s place if we returned. Thank you!!

Very nice apartment located in the countryside in a quiet area but a few minutes from the train station to go to Salzburg; a good compromise to discover this beautiful region. We were greeted by Heidi upon our arrival with a warm exchange in English, rare enough to be highlighted!!! Well done for the welcome 🙂

Very good host！

Ben's Airbnb fantastic!! Firstly, the location was right in the heart of the Altstadt (Mozart's Geburtshaus/Birth house being on the same street only a few doors down). We found ourselves being able to walk everywhere which was great. The apartment was the same as it's photos and was absolutely beautiful. Ben was also a great host, always very responsive and very helpful too. We would definitely stay here again should we return to Salzburg!! We loved it!

Fantastik place with great hikes and restaurants close by! Beautiful view, very clean and peaceful. Veronika was a super host, good communication and made us feel at home. Can highly recommend!

Louisa’s property is simply beautiful. It’s stylish, elegantly designed and furnished and has a wonderful sense of calm and tranquility. The views from the windows in the tower look out over fields and parkland towards the mountains and the Fortress high on the hill in Salzburg and never failed to take one’s breath away, whatever the weather! Sunrises and sunsets were spectacular and the sound of birdsong ever present. The atmosphere was enhanced even more by the church adjacent to the house and the bells which kept perfect timing and us on schedule! We walked into town a few times and also took the bus, all of which is easy to do. There is a fantastically well stocked local shop and even a very exclusive vending machine option at the nearby highly regarded Schloss Aigen restaurant! You could not wish for more!

A wonderful stay! The place was sparkling clean and decorated with a lot of love for detail – I immediately felt at home. Our host Maria was incredibly warm, attentive and helpful – you immediately notice that she cares about the well-being of her guests. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The view from the balcony was simply magical, even more breathtaking than in the photos. I am infinitely grateful for this beautiful time and will be happy to come back from the bottom of my heart!

This bnb was convenient to Salzburg yet also had a secluded and private feel to it. Only a few km from Salzburg, this spacious rental was large enough for my family of 5. The property backed up to a beautiful forest and creek. Bea was a great host, giving local recommendations, clear check in instructions, and responded promptly to any needs we had.

I would highly recommend this listing. The accommodation is of good quality, very clean, and very well organized. There is the essentials to be able to cook, nothing is missing (cutlery, pot, dish soap...). The place is quiet, and the bedding is good quality. wardrobe and hangers available. I also recommend the Chinese restaurant below, which is also of good quality without being expensive. Accessible accommodation with buses 180 and 260 which have a stop right next door. Finally, the communication with Vanessa was of good quality (pro-active). In the end, it's managed in a very professional manner. PS: even if the place is quiet, I recommend taking hearing protection because at night the fridge makes a little noise.

Lisa and Chris’ home exceeded our expectations. The home was clean and well-equipped, very cosy and convenient location (5 minute walk from Anthering station). The view from the apartment is spectacular! Lisa and Chris were proactive and responsive when we ran into issues (rarely any issues!). We absolutely adore Salzburg now and will definitely be coming back sometime in the future. Thank you Lisa and Chris for a lovely stay!

Perfect accommodation for our short break in Salzburg. Very nice residential area with cafe and playground etc. right across the street, bus stop, supermarket, bakery, etc. very close. Communication with the hosts was very straightforward and the apartment overall very well appointed.

I had a very good time in Angelika's place. It is well equipped, with beautiful furniture, and a charming balcony. The location is perfect if you look for a quiet neighborhood. The old city is a 25-minute walk or a short bus ride away. Communication went well. Thank you, Angelika!

It was our third time in Salzkammergut and wonderful Sankt-Wolfgang. I think this town is the best location around! The lake is amazing! Simone’s apartment was at my “wish list” at Airbnb, since my previous trip. And I’m very happy that I had opportunity to realise it! Details: Apartment is fully equipped. Everything is very comfortable and high quality as if the apartment was furnished to live in, not for rent. View: Amazing, much better I could imagine watching photos. The balcony/terrace is very big and fully furnished (dinner set: table and chairs), sofa, comfortable chairs, etc. Parking: Comfortable public parking in 100 metres. 8 euros/day. It’s so spacious, that I think even in high season there are parking spaces available. Restaurants: A lot of restaurants around. Simone gave us restaurant guide and recommendations. P.S. To reach the apartment you need to walk downstairs approximately 2 stories. It’s not a problem at all, but you should take it in consideration

In 10 years of booking on Airbnb, this definitely ranks in our top 3! Exquisitely decorated & carefully kitted out, the apartment is a perfect blend of sublime functionality. Elisabeth is an accomplished artist - her work adorns the walls and nooks and corners of this well laid out beautiful space. The terrace is a showstopper. With a lounge chair, sofa, dining table, mood lighting & panoramic views it is where you will spend most of your time if the weather is friendly. (Lovely spot to practise some yoga too). Elisabeth & her husband Werner are marvellous hosts & go out of the way to ensure you are comfortable. We were met on arrival by them. Elisabeth had cooked us some apple strudel & also left easter eggs & some homemade cherry liqueur for us to enjoy! We as well got some cheesecake the next day. She is an outstanding baker, and each item was more delicious than the other. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable & relaxing stay in this alpine paradise. Seven stars!

Jacqueline is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a big wave onto the driveway and was incredibly proactive, friendly and responsive throughout. She gave us clear instructions on arrival and the apartment had everything we needed plus essentials for our dog. The apartment was wonderfully decorated, so well that we did not want to leave. The whirlpool worked fantastically with a great back massage function and the log fire made our evening more magical. However the stand out of it all is the extremely comfortable bed and pillows. We had the best nights sleep we have had our entire three month trip. We cannot recommend Jacqueline enough.

Amazing place with great host

We had a wonderfully relaxed and quiet weekend in the mountains. Gerhard welcomed us right at the door and gave us a short tour of the apartment – including a nice welcome drink. The place exactly matches the pictures: lovingly decorated, cozy and perfect for unwinding. In short, if you want to get away from it all and enjoy a break in beautiful surroundings, this is the place to be. We will be happy to come back!

Well-maintained accommodation with whirlpool bathtub near several beautiful lakes and mountains! The independent check-in using a code number was straightforward. We found the accommodation in impeccable condition! Everything is clean, well maintained and very nicely furnished. The furnishings were all around upscale and very modern. In addition to a well-equipped kitchen, the bathtub with whirlpool jets was an absolute highlight for us. A parking space directly at the accommodation is also available. Communication with the host was also impeccable. Very friendly and helpful. We felt absolutely comfortable and would love to come back!

The fridge was prepared with breakfast items, there was a sparkling wine for your birthday and even the children with a children's sparkling wine were thought of. Just super great!!

Our stay at the summer house with the Bartl family was very pleasant, incredibly relaxing and perfect for a relaxing holiday in the mountains. The apartment is wonderfully designed, you can see the craftsmanship of a good carpenter. We all can only recommend this Airbnb. Friendly greetings Morris
