Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Salzburg

WOW! When we saw the photos of the property during the book, we wondered if reality could catch up with us sobering. But the opposite occurred: It's even nicer on site than in the photos. You can easily check into a feel-good oasis. A warm feeling of home with clean character at the same time, a perfect mix. For me personally, it was a first holiday that was supposed to have a real relaxation frame and had a big share of success in the great Casa. Fireplace set at the touch of a button, leisurely hours on the window sill overlooking the distance and the cable car, then a sauna with mountain panorama and before going to bed - by the way in a great bed - a swimming pool stay. What more could you ask for (or even a woman)? The kitchen offers all the options to take care of yourself. Our dog also felt "bully"comfortable and enjoyed the long walks that are offered around the chalets. Great!!!

Our stay at this mountain retreat was truly out of this world! We were taken back by the views and serene surroundings. The place was not just stunning, but it also felt like home from the moment we arrived. The service was impeccable, and we appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere from the host Kristina. Traveling with our 18-month-old, we found the accommodations to be family-friendly, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time at this location! The place was perfect for enjoying the warm weather and was also well-equipped to keep things cozy when it got chilly. Everything was very clean. Parking was easy, and the location was convenient—close to a variety of attractions. We’d definitely stay here again!

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

We, 5 friends who were here for sports, were warmly welcomed at the accommodation. The quiet, idyllic location is a dream! The old farmhouse is also very charming and sparkling clean. Thanks to the beautiful weather, we were also able to have breakfast outside and enjoy the starry sky at night. Thank you Elisabeth and family for the great stay. We will be happy to come back!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home. The house is fantastic for a family and Roxana is an incredible host. she had arranged our public transport tickets that allowed us to catch the bus from the end of the street into Salzburg. She also surprised our 10 year old with balloons and decorations upon arrival for his 10th birthday. We loved our stay at Roxana's house, it was amazing.

If you are looking for peace, quiet, a beautiful view, a beautiful apartment, a feeling of home and the owner of the apartment who answers every question immediately, this is the place. Mimi took care of every detail in her house. We felt like home down to the smallest details in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The apartment is designed for a family with children who need to cook. The kitchen has everything. Good location, close to the lakes and all the attractions related to nature and water recreation. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this beautiful house! We were two couples with two babies and we had a lot of space for everyone. The balcony has a beautiful view and it's fun to spend time there. We had a great week in this beautiful apartment, the decor is modern and at the same time cozy, the reality corresponds to 100% of the pictures. Everything was very clean . The location is perfect for all sorts of excursions. You can be in the forest in 5 minutes and on a river/ small lake , in about 35 minutes uphill to Lake Wössen, which our dogs particularly liked. From the house you can start all kinds of walks/ hikes: along the Ache you can walk at ground level or up into the forest up to one of the numerous alpine pastures or viewpoints. The view from the panoramic window in the kitchen to the mountains/ meadow with cows is very beautiful and relaxing. The center of Unterwössen can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, a well-equipped new Edeka , bakery, etc. , you will also find some taverns, which were not all open daily in May. In summer, this certainly looks different. We felt very comfortable. Anja &Jérome are very nice hosts

Perfect location for visiting Salzburg! This apartment’s location allowed for quick access into the city and had beautiful surroundings. The multiple bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal for a friend group traveling together. Helga was very communicative with us, arriving quickly if we ever needed anything. Would definitely return!

The accommodation was extremely clean and fully equipped, just as described. In the kitchen, there was also a diverse selection of teas, jams and cereals - all freshly packaged. The hosts were extremely friendly and informative and were able to give many valuable tips for excursions in the area. The apartment is very nicely decorated and fully equipped. It is easily accessible on foot from the train station. Shopping within walking distance. Very quiet location.

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

Our stay at Roman’s. Was great. 😊 it’s a big home with plenty of room. The pool was fun and the place was nice and clean!! Roman was a great host and responded to questions very quickly!!

We had a very pleasant stay: perfect weather, great skiing and last but not least a very nice and comforatable accomodation.

Perfect for many guests with pets (dog). Own house and gazebo, very nice in nice weather. Charging electric car with wallbox is very easy and payable directly to the landlord. In the middle of nature, very quiet and very nice view of the valley, the mountains, the Cathedral and St. Johann. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.

Even though we only had two days, our stay was really worth it. Barbara was a very good host and explained everything in detail remotely explained. The apartment handover by her daughter also worked out great. The house itself was as described and is fantastically only a few minutes away by bike from Chiemsee in a small village on the edge of the forest. Ideal for people looking for peace or by bike/walking the beautiful area. We will remember this weekend for a long time!

We had a great stay in the villa for 9. Everything as in the pictures, great pool and garden and beautiful view. Communication and check-in were also smooth and easy. Would come back anytime :)
