Holiday rentals with breakfast in Salem

Felt like being at home!

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to Boston, Cambridge, etc. It's in a sweet hilltop neighborhood surrounded by trees, but a few minutes walk from a bustling area with many restaurants and shops. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal, and is well-stocked with oils and spices, as well as coffee and quick breakfast foods. The apartment is tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It was perfect for a few days in Boston- thank you!

This was the perfect stay for me on the Eve before flying out of Boston after a longer stay in Maine. I usually seek entire places to myself because I love the privacy, but this felt that way because of the private bathroom, coffee machine and fridge I had access to, and the quiet and peacefulness I experienced there. Wendy was a super generous and welcoming host, I enjoyed getting to discover Salem while staying here!

The house was very clean and organized. Additional seating in the living room would be nice and kings beds instead of queen size beds would be better. They left snacks and bottle water for us to have which was appreciated, but we found open gallons of beverages and open food packages in the refrigerator. We also questioned the sign in the kitchen stating no cooking allowed. Honestly, that’s why we stay at Airbnb’s Overall, our stay was comfortable.

The place was great for a family of four. We came for a college graduation and there was plenty of room of everyone to comfortable be in the home. The pictures were good but the home looks better in person. Each bedroom had phone chargers, there were games to play in the family room, steamers for your clothing. We didn't get to really use the back deck but was a nice set up and we were told if we wanted to use the grill just let them know and propane would be dropped off. Plenty of parking. I could go on and in. Shops within walking distance and supermarkets not too far away. Our family would definitely stay again if in the area.

From the moment we stepped into this wonderful house in Charlestown we felt instantly at home. Every inch of the home is beautiful and the house is on the historic registry. Megan and Victor were amazing hosts, responding immediately to any question we had. We will definitely be staying there again when we travel to Charlestown. (Hopefully it will be available! 🤞)

Your stay was perfect! So close and walkable to the beach. Our kids had a fabulous vacation and the outdoor shower was used daily! We loved having coffee on the back patio and dinners on the porch. The house is well appointed with everything you need and extra touches to make the beach days easier (beach chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler bags). The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery stores and a few shops. We loved our stay and hope to come back!

Second time staying here. Our favorite place out of all the homes we’ve stayed at. Super clean, comfy beds, and huge kitchen. Karen is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

My family recently stayed for an extended weekend to attend a wedding. This Airbnb was a gem! Kim is a super responsive host, communicative, and checking in often on anything we may need/let us know recommendations, in addition to preparing welcome snacks/refreshments & breakfast items. My family was traveling also with young kids/toddlers and Kim made sure even our youngest felt the most welcome with toys and toddler conveniences. Great location if you are heading into Boston/Cambridge, Logan airport or to the North Shore. Easily walkable to the beach with great sunrise and sunset views. Would recommend staying here again & longer for our next stay!

We had a great experience staying at Angelo’s loft! It is so comfortable and had all the amenities we could want. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, featuring a large window overlooking the ocean. The outdoor deck is spacious with the same views. Angelo is a very responsive and thoughtful host. We will definitely be returning this summer!

There aren’t enough characters to articulate how WONDERFUL this stay was and how great Jonah is. I had originally booked somewhere else and they double-booked— there were literally people in my unit! I was in a major bind because it was the holiday weekend and two Ivy-League grad weekends at the same time. I had friends in from all over the country for graduation and no place for them to stay until Jonah helped us out. Literally nothing else available, but Jonah was not only able to find us something— but hooked us up in a BIG way and in the wee hours of the night. The place was lovely but the service, attention to detail, and kindness was unmatched. I am so grateful to Jonah and Nora (his wife)- they saved the day. Best part: they joined all of us for a celebratory dinner. Would DEFINITELY book with them again!

We had an absolutely exceptional stay! The host was incredibly responsive, making everything seamless from start to finish. The place itself was perfect—immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed here for my daughter’s college graduation nearby, and it truly added to the special occasion. The location was convenient, the amenities were top-notch, and every detail exceeded expectations. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a five-star experience!

David & Jenny’s place was exactly as described. We felt welcomed there and their communication was top notch! We had an enjoyable stay and recommend them as hosts!

We loved the beautiful location and the facilities available at the unit. If the weather had been better, it would have been heavenly. Highly recommend the place. Rob had thoughtfully left eggs, bread and other groceries for us. Braintree is easy to move to and fro downtown Boston (except for peak-time traffic!). Overall, we loved staying at this place.

Exactly as described; this is the 2nd time we've stayed here and would stay again. Good location, parking is easy, there's a workspace, wifi is solid, it's quiet, bed is good, shower is good, it's exactly what I'm looking for in an AirBnB. Though I keep forgetting to take advantage of the hot tub! Plus, hosts are fast responders. No complaints!

Sharon was extremely friendly! She went out of her way to find breakfast pastries for my food allergies! Super sweet! Wonderful space, private room and bathroom. We felt very at home and loved the neighborhood. Lovely drive to nearby areas like Newburyport and Salem. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy home away from home.

The house is clean and well-maintained, nestled in a charming neighborhood filled with beautifully preserved historic homes. It’s within walking distance of the central campus and conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants. A simple breakfast is also provided for added convenience.

Lovely home, great location and friendly and helpful host. Felt more like a "hosted B&B or inn" rather than the more common experience I've had with Air B&B of the host being available but not a visible presence. If you are looking for a private, nonengaging experience, this might not be for you. However, if you enjoy meeting your host, we found Bob to be warm and cheery and he made us a lovely breakfast with excellent coffee. Rosy was away so we did not meet her, however, her decorating talents were much on display from the tableware to the linens and accoutrements, all of which made us feel like we were special guests.

Peter was so warm & went the extra mile - gave me lovely coffee & toast, butter and jam for breakfast - which was very welcome and comforting.

Melissa was helpful and proactive. The rocking boat helped put me to sleep!

This was by far the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Great host. Great room. Fabulous house. Local food options are a bit limited, but Quincy feels safer than most parts of Boston I've visited.

A+. This place is why I come to Airbnb: unique, immersive, and full of character. I stayed in the Witches Dorm, and it felt like part of the adventure, not just a place to sleep. The decor was rich and authentic, and the common room was so cozy I spent hours writing and reading there. The 2 twin beds were comfy (even for a 6'1" guest.) Hope, the host, is fascinating and has some amazing stories, but also totally respects your space. She keeps the common area well-stocked with snacks, coffee, and drinks, which made mornings and late nights easy. Uber was always available and affordable (~$6–10), making it easy to get around if you don’t feel like walking the scenic 25–30 mins to downtown. The walk downtown can be super varied tho—walking along the coastline one day, thru a park the next, and a myriad of ways down tiny New England streets w cute houses all about the same travel time. My first time in Salem. Felt safe at all hours. Would absolutely stay at this property again. A+
