Monthly Rentals in Saint Olaf

This was our second stay at Brenda’s place. It is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle . We especially like the two bedroom so we have our own rooms. The kitchen was well equipped with the cooking pans we needed to fix our meals. It was quiet and peaceful being out in the country. That may not appeal to everyone but give it a try. It was nice to be greeted by the cat. We will return here again, hopefully soon.

Dawn is an excellent host. Her place is spacious, very clean with a full kitchen and full-sized washer and dryer. The bed (I slept in one—was there solo) was very comfortable. The living room space has two comfortable recliners with a TV and good reading light. I was in Elkader for a family funeral and would definitely book with Dawn again.

This was a beautiful place to spend a few days. It was peaceful and quiet. We felt right at home and enjoyed spending our evenings by the fire. Josh and Sam were both friendly and wonderful hosts. We would love to plan another stay at the Tack Shed!

Staying at this charming bungalow was a delightful experience, and I would have extended my stay if it hadn’t already been booked. Upon entering the home, I felt my entire body exhale and instantly felt a sense of relaxation. This beautifully restored residence perfectly balances the character of an older building with the modern comforts of a pristine kitchen and bathroom. Its prime location makes it easy to explore downtown Prairie du Chien on foot or take enjoyable day trips. It’s also an ideal spot for anyone needing to work remotely. One of the highlights of my stay was the time I spent on the screened porch, where I enjoyed meals, reading, and tackled some work tasks. I loved my time here, and I hope it's available when I return to the area again!
