Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Safety Beach

This would have to be one of my favorite places , across from the beach with easy access sitting on the balcony watching the sun setting was amazing , beds a comfy and it was equipped with everything you could possibly imagine for your comfort for a home away from home , my dog Malle loved sitting in deck watching the world go by .. he was secure and safe in the front yard . Jennifer was an amazing host , very responsive , overall a wonderful location , close to the bustling Mornington shopping strip and a cafe just down the road . Highly recommend Jennifer’s lovely beachside home .

If a stay in Chelsea is what you need then this is a good option. Comfortable, spacoius, gererously provisioned. It had a particularly pleasant rear deck for the warmer times. We jad everything we needed and would stay again.

Beautiful, clean space the owner even left us a bottle of wine. Felt right at home, definitely recommend if your two couples looking to get outta Melbourne for the weekend

We really enjoyed staying at Tahlia’s cosy cottage. Communication was excellent and the place was easy to find. It’s in a great spot, close to Rye beaches but in a quiet location. The kitchen and bathroom are really well appointed with everything we needed and the lounge was so comfy in the evenings. Even though it was chilly weather we didn’t need the wood fire as the AC was enough. The yard is big and dog friendly - one of the reasons we picked it, even though we ended up not bringing the dog. We will certainly be back!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Kim’s place over the weekend for our son’s graduation, and it was everything we could’ve hoped for and more! The home provided the perfect setting for our family to come together—relaxing on the cosy couch, enjoying movie nights with the warmth of the heater, and soaking in the spa before the winter chill really set in. Each bedroom was beautifully styled with an eye for detail, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—complete with high-quality branded linen that added a touch of luxury. Our children especially loved the inviting living space, where we shared laughs and made memories over games like snakes and ladders. A truly memorable stay—thank you, Kim, for creating such a welcoming and thoughtful home.

Wonderful place to stay. Immaculately clean, well decorated and stocked with everything you need. It’s a decent sized beach house on a big pocket of land, plenty of room for the kids. Karen was an amazing host, proactively providing all the information we needed and checked in after our stay to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Can’t recommend both the place and Karen enough.

We spent a long weekend at Jennie’s house and would highly recommend. It rained the entire weekend so we weren’t able to make use of the top north facing deck or the lower pool deck but we lit the fire, settled in and had such a relaxing time. There is a really good coffee machine which meant we didn’t even have to venture out for coffee! We loved it on a wet winter weekend so I can only imagine how great it would be on a warm sunny weekend.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. With three families, we needed plenty of space, and this home was perfect—large, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. There were plenty of bedrooms to accommodate everyone, making it an ideal setup. The pool was a highlight—warm and inviting, especially in the afternoons, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. One of our favourite features was the gazebo overlooking the pool area. It provided a great spot for the some of the parents to relax while still keeping an eye on the kids as they swam and played. The location couldn’t be better! It’s an easy walk to both the beach and local shops, and even our younger kids managed the walk with no trouble. Having everything so close by made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. Overall, this home was a wonderful place for a family getaway, and we’d love to come back again!

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property ! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Awesome place for my family to stay. Booked for my wife’s 60th birthday, to have the two of us, our 3 kids, their partners, 4 grandkids and one dog in one amazing property was absolutely wonderful. The property was immaculate and the description was absolutely accurate. Local shops a short 10 minute drive away to Rye. Would gladly book again. Steve & Amelia…

Jim and Louisa’s pod is a perfect private Haven, walking disrance to the beach, beautiful garden for a little dog to run out at the front, and the pod had all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot spa at night looking at the stars is a must. Definitely recommend!

An absolutely fabulous house, to be completely honest the photos don't do it justice, we were blown away when we walked in the door. The bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable, the living areas (plural!) were brilliant, our kids were able to watch different shows without any arguments. The pool is outstanding and I really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the mornings having a coffee. The beach is a ten minute walk away and it's a really nice beach! We had a couple of queries for the host and they responded really quickly which was excellent. Overall I'd happily recommend this house to anyone considering staying there. We stayed for almost two week and it really was a home to us for that time. I hope we can return one day!

We had an amazing girls' getaway at Ana's stunning house! The property was beautifully maintained and perfectly located. We felt right at home and had a fantastic time. My family and I had a wonderful stay in Balnarring. The house is stunning - surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenery and the interior design is amazing! We had a few infants and a toddler and the house was well equipped for our needs. We especially loved the animals and the home-grown preserved food!

Kate’s cottage was absolutely and exactly what my girlfriends and I were looking for, for a little weekend getaway. It was even better than we expected, with its cosy charm, warm and inviting feel and had everything we needed and more. Karen was a great host. Checking in on us and making sure everything was ok. She was very quick in her responses. The location of the home was great. Convenient to go to many places in Mornington. The home is very warm and cosy to stay in. A lot of amenities were provided which made staying at the house very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at Jac and Tony’s. The view was incredible and the place clean and tidy. We felt like we were on top of the world…We will definitely be back!

Evdokia was a warm and welcoming host. The house was just what we needed for the 6 of us. Warm and cosy with plenty of room and all the essentials for a night in. It is also only a few minutes walk to the beach and local shops which was great. We had a lovely stay.

Lovely little abode that had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Good amount of space, both indoors and outside. It feels like you’re in nature with lovely views and ambiant fairy lights at night ✨ Only minor thing to note was that the bathroom had no door so can feel a little awkward, but we used the adjacent cupboard doors for extra privacy. Otherwise, very easy process for finding our way to and around the place. Would definitely recommend!

We and the kids absolutely loved our stay. From the big backyard and ping pong table on the deck to the spacious living areas and comfy beds, we couldn't find any fault whatsoever. It's close to the beach and a couple of eateries, but very peaceful. looking forward to returning soon!
