Built in 1927, this charming home has just enough room to be comfortable for sleeping and lounging. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking, charcoal grill in back porch for cook out or plenty of restaurants within a mile or two. The backyard has a garden and fenced in area for dogs to play. Beaver lake is a few minutes walk from house with a 2 mile trail around it. Some of the best road cycling in the world is available from the front door. Mt. biking is 15-45 minutes drive. Yoga studio next door.

Welcome to our home! We built a private studio apartment for you to enjoy! Just 10 minutes from downtown and popular River Arts District. This stunning property is surrounded by trees, wildlife & sounds from the FB River. We live in the house upstairs and my in-laws live in the other apartment down below. Although your stay will be private, we are here to help if need be, but respect your space and solitude. Please note- there are NO shared air vents in this space. Unit has it’s own A/C, heat.

The Blue Door

The Blue Door is located in an urban neighborhood just north of Asheville and is well situated for the area. Downtown, the French Broad river, the River Arts District, many parks to enjoy, a plethora of outdoor activities and more await, all close by. Welcome to Woodfin! Our home is conveniently located on the north side of Asheville-- just a hop and a skip to the River Arts district, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Beaver Lake, and downtown Asheville. Avery's park is a short walk, and the Craggy Mountain RR Line is just down the road. Our neighborhood is warm and welcoming, and so is our pet-friendly home, which was built as one of Woodfin's local mill houses in the 1920's. You'll find a clean, restful vibe with a lot of love in the walls.

Located just ten minutes from downtown Asheville, the River Arts district and 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Biltmore Estate entrance. We offer a nice one bedroom full apartment ( full size kitchen, full bath, bedroom and living room) with a pullout queen sofa bed. We live in a quite neighborhood. The apartment is part of a duplex. Also It is a good rental for visiting business professionals. We offer free WiFi and TV with Fire Stick, Hulu Live, Netflix and some local stations.

We love this beautiful area and are so happy to share it with others! This cozy retreat (with private entrance and parking space!) is the perfect home base for all of your Asheville adventures!
