Such a warm welcome from our hostess, Wendy! Her place had everything we needed, plus more. She provided us a dozen farm fresh eggs from her 6 chickens 🐓 - so yummy! She provided cookies, wine, and lots of snacks too 😊. Her home is super cozy and spotless! Communication with Wendy was super easy. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure from the shower was excellent. I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset in front of our Airbnb while sitting on a swing. Her garden & deck had lovely flowers and vegetables. We had a family wedding to attend at Guildford Farm. Wendy’s Airbnb was only a 10 minutes walk to the venue - so easy! We had our 15 year old Yorkie-poo with us and she settled in after a few hours. We got to meet her husband, Ron - such a nice gentleman! A perfect place to stay - peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. Bonus — truly one of kindest hostess’ I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you, Wendy & Ron for hosting us!

The stay was wonderful! It had gorgeous surroundings and is a great stay if you’re looking for a peaceful private place to relax. The area had good stores and markets! The hosts were amenable and responded quickly when messaged. We had some unexpected events when it rained and we were provided with alternate accommodations. Overall it was a great place and we had a fun relaxing time!

Tanya has created a welcoming and comfortable space in a great location. The suite was immaculate and everything was in good repair. There's plenty of room to stretch out, and Tanya included lots of thoughtful details. The suite felt private and was very quiet. Parking and access are easy and convenient. The yard was a haven for both birds and travelers, offering plenty of entertainment. The location is great for those wanting to visit nearby wineries, presidential homes like Montpelier and Monticello, and the mountains. I was glad to stay at Summerfields Place and I hope to visit again.

Great place!! We really enjoyed our stay. Mary provided everything we needed...even extras. We brought some steak to grill and Mary provided a charcoal grill with charcoal so we could cook out. Sh also provided some great local hiking options. We'll definitely be back when in Charlottesville!! Thank you Mary!!
