Monthly Rentals in Rose Hill

Burke's Barnyard was a wonderful stay! The campsite was spacious, private, and very well maintained with a fire pit and a picnic table. We opted to rent a tent for 15$ extra/night and it was very convenient. The hot box is a great little cabin to buy fire wood, fresh eggs, frozen meats, and other little essentials/goodies plus lots of cooking equipment and games to borrow!! but the best part by far was having the chickens turkeys and ducks visit our site and share our leftovers!! The stars are a real treat for us city folks and there's also a gorgeous beach at Foster Lake down the road that we visited. Thank you Melissa and Gary, would love to come camping here again!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

It was a lovely, quiet space, surround by nature and a resident beaver but we didnt not get the pleasure to see. Lots of bull frogs and pond creatures. Saw a resident Garder snake, beautiful wild flowers. The hosts were lovely and responsive, especially when there was a terrible storm that came through. There isnt cell service but wifi. Great place to disconnect from the every day and to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. The outdoor shower was cool and the hot water didnt last long but still enough for a quick shower or a longer cold shower if you enjoy that. It was nice to watch the steam rise off of the pond. All in all a great experience!!

It was an absolute delight to spend the weekend here! Kim and Dave were both super responsive and the kayak, paddle boards, lake and bonfire gave us much to do. We also enjoyed that there was stuff to do indoors in the event of rain like a fire tv stick and board games. The complimentary goodies was also a great touch! We will be back.
