Reconnect with nature and each other all year round. Perfect for a romantic holiday/proposal. Nestled in the woods, directly across the road from a lake, it is private but not secluded. Your stay includes outdoor leisure equipment for fun on the lake every season. Just relax, I do the dishes! There's no running water in the yurts well-appointed kitchenette but everything else you need is there! The camp toilet is in an outbuilding by the yurt and a gorgeous guest shower room is up at the house.

My friends and I stayed here for a couple nights, it was very clean and such cute decor. The area was so peaceful and quiet. A little further from the water than anticipated but overall wonderful stay and would definitely recommend for a restful getaway.

Our stay in Prince Edward County was absolutely perfect! Dave was a fantastic host – friendly, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. The property itself is gorgeous: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The views are truly spectacular – we spent each morning and evening soaking in the scenery. The location was also ideal, with three great local restaurants just minutes away. It was the perfect base for exploring the County, and we felt completely relaxed and refreshed by the end of our stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway!

Our stay at Pettit House was fabulous! The house is beautiful and felt like a luxury hotel, yet still suited its farmhouse charm. It was the perfect setting for a family 50th birthday celebration. The hosts were great and Cathie who manages the property made sure we had everything we needed and helped us get settled in right away. A truly exceptional 4-day stay. Highly recommend!
