Monthly Rentals in Rodmell

Lovely little place right next to the South Downs Way and within striking distance of Eastbourne if you're hiking! Clare was very quick to reply to messages to sort out things like firewood for the stove and fire pit. We didn't meet but she seemed really friendly! The pub down the road was really nice, good food and beer and a spacious garden out the back to chill after a long day of walking. Top marks for that. There was fresh fruit, coffee, croissants and oat milk available for breakfast, which was ideal for me. The photos showed eggs and bread too, but you might have to request those in advance - I didn't ask as what was provided was plenty! The bed was super comfy, and the layout of the whole place was really well designed. I'd very happily stay again, but I might try the other hut that's available as it seemed to have a nice view over the downs and a bit more of the morning and evening sunlight. The fire pit and hammock were great though :)

We stayed for 3 nights visiting family in Brighton, we booked super last minute as unfortunately we were told the day before traveling that our accommodation had been double booked. As we were traveling with our 4 month old baby, I sent a message to Fiona to check that she could accommodate a baby and she was fast to reply are always so helpful. Accommodation has everything you need for a short break and Fiona even provided a Cot and Baby bath for us which was lovely! Spotlessly clean, spacious and modern! Would highly recommend 😊

An easy 13 mins walk from Lewes Station via Southover High St, this was a great place to chill and feel rested, and have the flexibility to do our own cooking the first night we arrived. Ruth and her husband looked after us and made us feel welcome. Recommend the 15 mins walk along Rotten Row to the town centre: you catch a glimpse of views of the south downs on your way. Looking forward to returning next month!

I stayed with my sister and two nieces at Pat and Jake’s for one night whilst in the area for a family event, and it was perfect!! The place was just like the photos but better. The area felt hidden and was really peaceful. The beds were super comfy. We had nice sunny places to sit in the garden. - and many additional extras that we were not expecting. We felt spoiled - personally this is one of the nicest homely Airbnb’s that I have ever stayed in. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s place. The area was very peaceful. Everything was set up for being able to cook for ourselves, we even had the luxury of home made bread waiting for us when we arrived, which was devoured by everyone! Pat and Jake were reactive and always responded to messages quickly. A problem with the shower not working was quickly fixed by Pat and Jake’s son. A fantastic place to stay and I’m sorry our stay was only one night. I look forward to coming back!! Thank you for providing such a lovely place to stay!!
