Enjoy the peaceful, family and community oriented area.Close to 2 commercial streets, close ferry to Manhattan(It takes 55’, with beautiful views of the bay and the city), the “A”train, (willtake around 1 hour and 10 minutes) and express bus Q16 is also available at the corner of the house only in early hours. A block away from the ocean. Internet, Central AC, heat, and Netflix are included. One parking spot available. Only 20 minutes from JFK NO unregistered guest allowed to stay overnight

The private bedroom /bathroom in law suite is on the 1st floor of the house. No shared space. This is a hosted stay , my family and I live in the house on the second floor. Private entrance to your suite is through back deck. Really big space. Only shared space is the deck. Full kitchen with full size refrigerator. Around the corner from Rockaway Taco/ Rockaway Beach Surf Club. House is front of Jamaica bay with views of the bay from the bed. Message with any questions.

It has a full eat-in kitchen, WiFi, 2 Smart TVs, and 1 Roku with apps. 7 min walk to the water, Atlantic Ocean, or Jamaica Bay at this peaceful and centrally-located place, near restaurants, bars, surf school, and supermarket. Recently spent a few nights at Gichard’s place and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing retreat. The apartment itself is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed—with a cozy living area, a fully stocked kitchenette, and plush bedding that made winding down a breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by lush greenery, so if you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle, this is your spot. One thing to note: the subway isn’t within immediate walking distance. The nearest station is about a 30-minute stroll, so if public transit is your primary mode, plan on taking a local bus (which runs frequently) or a quick rideshare to bridge the gap. All in all, Gichard was a responsive, friendly host, and I’d happily stay here again anytime I need a peaceful home base in Brooklyn. Highly recommended for travelers who value tranquility.
