Holiday rentals in Rock Harbor Creek

This was our 2nd visit to Darlene’s and Gregs, Tranquil. Bay Breeze, which is set in a beautiful garden that’s usually full of birds. There is truly nothing negative to say. We had the same feeling of calm and relaxation as we did last year. The accommodation has everything one needs for a wonderful stay. Our hosts continue to provide lots of little touches that many other b&b’s do not. Things like toothbrush, dental floss needle and cotton repair kit, a lovely bottle of wine, scones, butter pats, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, bottle water - the list is endless! It all goes to show how Greg and Darlene care about their guests. They truly are a lovely couple. We will never tire of visiting them, their property and their lovely miniature horses.

This cottage is very cute with a lot of charm and feels like old Cape Cod. It has a rustic wood interior with a comfortable feel. The cottage was very clean but it is very small and tight. We did keep some of our things in the car because there wasn't a lot of room in the cottage. You definitely cannot fit more than two people in it. The bathroom is very narrow with a very small shower and sink. But it was clean and well-appointed, including the linens and towels. There's also a small kitchen area with necessary dishes, utensils, coffee & coffee pot. The built in space heater was enough to keep it warm inside on the cooler days and nights. The owner has a lot of interesting art throughout the cottage which I enjoyed looking at, and when I was reading or working on my laptop I felt like I was an artist or a writer myself! It had a nice vibe! While it was cooler while we were there, we didn't use the picnic table or the outdoor chairs which are also nice elements on the property.

Great 2-night stay for a charity event. Perfect location and a super host!

We had a lovely summer vacation week at Joanne’s AirBnB. The space is a guest cottage at the back of Joanne’s property, yet bushes and trees offer plenty of privacy. The cottage is absolutely lovely - updated, tidy and clean as a whistle. Heads and shoulders better than most AirBnBs our family has stayed at for the price. And the location is excellent. Away from the tourist crowds of the lower cape, yet close to all the best beaches and excellent dining in Eastham and Wellfleet. Our favorites among Joanne’s recommendations were Arnold’s, an excellent clam shack and mini golf place, and Bookstore Restaurant in Wellfleet. Joanne was incredibly responsive and sweet. For some reason, I mistook the length of our stay and thought we had one more day available than we did! Joanne was very understanding and even entertained our two kids while we packed up our place! Overall, an excellent stay and very gracious, lovely hosts. I can’t recommend Joanne’s place more highly.

We had such an amazing stay at this little cottage!We didn’t want to leave.The location was perfect for us. Peaceful and quiet, yet close to everything we wanted to be near. Some reviews mentioned cottages nearby and that being not private.We didn’t have any issue with this.The entire area where the houses are located is quiet and tranquil.The neighbors that are long-term renters are extremely friendly and there aren’t any noise issues. I think it’s important to note for future renters (who are first time renters)that it may be nearly impossible to cook or hangout outside in the later summer months due to mosquitoes.This is par for the course given the marsh and the heat, but it’s good to advise since the indoor kitchen is quite small. The 3rd bedroom (single twin)is a back bedroom that has door access to outside w/large windows.For those with little kids, this may be good to note. Luckily we were able to switch around rooms a few nights to make it work. Perfect for our family of 3!

Great stay! The home was clean. The home is well equipped and it is clear that great thought went into making sure that guests have everything they need during their stay. The location is excellent! A short bike ride to the CCRT, and the beaches are a short drive away. A 5-minute walk to Stop-n-Shop, and several good restaurants are also close by. All in all, I would recommend this place highly and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay. We really enjoyed the area and the house was exactly what we needed. The hosts were also very responsive! All around good experience :)

We were in need of a cozy, relaxing place to stay to get away from our hectic lives. The Cottage was perfect! Cozy bed, great kitchen setup, extremely quiet for being so close to Route 6. Perfect getaway for our little dog too. She got cozy very quickly.
