Lovely place to stay plenty of local places to take the dog for a walk and within a 20-25 minute drive you could access numerous other places and towns to visit. Lovely stay and place the hot tub was nice to relax in after long days.

We had a lovely stay. The property was small & cosy with everything we needed. Great location just far enough to be peaceful but easy to reach the centre of Knaresborough & the waterside. Chris gave great recommendations for local food & drinks & we loved the Mitre for food & had a great night with live music in Track & Sleeper just next door. Loved the view from our bedroom window, we saw a deer & woke up to the birds singing! The staircase took a bit of getting used to 😀 but I loved it!!

I booked this last minute and arrived an hour later. Barbara was out at the time and went out of her way to came back as soon as I got there. Barbara and her husband were so so lovely, really chatty and made me feel really welcome. The place was even more beautiful in person and just as described. It was worth the stay just to see the animals walking around and the beautiful views. The outside bath was amazing aswell, would highly recommend at sunset (Barbara advised me what time would be best too). Can’t wait to stay again x
