We had a fantastic stay in a lovely cottage, small but extremely well equipped. both Barry and Eadaoin were extremely helpful. No complaints whatsoever and will stay here again if it's available !

We absolutely adored this little retreat from the madness of our busy lives. A wonderfully cute barn with a wood burner to warm our cockles on return from some mighty hikes. Rick was warmly welcoming and we loved the breakfast delivery daily (yum) and his advice about local walks if we needed. Peaceful, isolated and charming.

Perfect quiet getaway with our 3 month old baby. Did get very hot due to heatwave, but lots of windows that can be opened and through draught. Amazing location, good kitchen, 2 hobs, fridge with freezer box section, good set of kitchenware. Bathroom, lovely shower and toiletries. All round perfect for our getway

We had a lovely short stay in the lakes at Hazels place. It was a perfect getaway, our only regret is that 2 nights wasn’t enough! The place itself was perfect for us and super clean. Would 100% recommend and also visiting Kendal itself for food, there were some great places for brunch and a Thai restaurant we absolutely loved - think this was called Bangkok 7! Thanks for having us :)
