Waterfront holiday rentals in River Eden

Had a lovely couple of nights here. Asked for recommendations for restaurant and takeaways before hand and both we chose were very good. Both Marcelle and Alan are very friendly, as are the dogs! mentioned we were staying for my husbands birthday and without asking banners were put up in the room. thank you. Will remember this place if we are ever in that area again.

Absolutely perfect stay! The place was pure luxury relaxing, spotless, and exactly as described in the listing. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail and comfort was top-notch. I had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The view was absolutely stunning—perfect for a peaceful, romantic getaway. The space itself is cosy and clean, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly accommodating and flexible and really fast at responding, which made the whole experience even better. We had a great stay- so beautiful being next to the river- very peaceful but also 5 minute walk into Keswick high street with lots of restraunts. Easy to park, warm and cosy, would definitely recommend

Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Incredible location, lovely place, super comfy beds, very peaceful, super clean, lake access, away from the bustling Lake District tourism but close enough when we needed it. Sally was helpful and responsive. The best Air BnB experience I’ve ever had. Worth every penny!

Warm, clean & comfortable little cottage with everything that we needed. Ideal location for the town and surrounding area, however we did underestimate how busy the road would be at night.

Really good location for a family holiday. We had 6 adults and although 2 were in the ‘children’s’ bedroom they were comfortable and there was lots of space for us all. Outside spaces (places to sit or eat) in particular were lovely and the hot tub of course was fabulous. Really great easy location for Ambleside itself and getting quickly walking!

A well loved and super clean cottage in a surprisingly quiet part of Arnside. The garden is a little gem after a long day out in good weather. Thoroughly recommend and friends say I’m pretty fussy.

The photos do not do the place justice - it is absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. So much bigger than it looked online too and we had a great stay. The only issue we had was that the hot water stopped working mid way through the day. Elizabeth was super helpful and responsive to the problem but we had to be in Newcastle for early evening so it meant 6 of our party had to have freezing cold showers one day as the water took too long to come back on. Other than that, I can’t fault it. Surroundings are beautiful. So peaceful and yet close to shops, airport (25 mins), a gorgeous spa (matfen hall), and a 35 min minibus to Newcastle. Would recommend to all.

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

Fabulous stay at John’s river side holiday home. Perfect setting, helpful and communicative host. No negatives just the perfect stay. House accommodated 6 of us very comfortably. Can’t recommend enough

Amazing place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful area but had a pub within walking distance. Only a 10 minute drive to the shops and under 20 minutes into Windermere town. Great location and beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and great facilities. Lee and Wendy were very friendly and responsive, lots of recommendations too! We will definitely be coming back to stay here!

Our week in this lovely apartment sped by too quickly! It was beautifully decorated with cosy lounges and chairs and very comfortable beds. The kitchen had more than we needed and all appliances were easy to use. The location was faultless - everywhere was so accessible from here! Pubs, cafes and restaurants were just across the road - where we headed after long hikes each day. We felt very sad to leave and look forward to returning one day soon 👍👋❤️

Spacious place and good location for town and walks

Lovely and spacious apartment fully equipped for our weekend away. Perfect combination of rustic and modern aesthetic. Kitchen was fully suited for all cooking needs. Bathrooms and all other areas were spotless. living room was a cozy place to chill with plenty of space. Location is perfect as right in the heart of Kendal with nearby shops and restaurants if needed. It was easy to travel to anywhere in the Lake District from here. Check-in was very straightforward.

Was staying here for a family gathering Kim’s place was great, a home from home and she also had lots of brochures in the apartment for things to do myself and family really enjoyed staying here.

Had a two night stay with 9 friends.. absolutely no issues with The Granary, from booking to check out! Julie responded quickly to my questions and was very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay. Highly recommend!!
