Great location with easy access to most local attractions. The place was lovely and cosy, perfect for a relaxing stay. Andrew was very responsive and helpful. He kindly accommodated our early check-in even though we requested it on the day. I'd love to stay here again when I return to Bowness.

The loft is an absolute hidden gem, it’s in the perfect location and just the overall place is so cosy and inviting. Super comfortable bed, and the amenities included were just the right touch. Paul and Sally Anne were so quick at replying and helped out with any queries we had. Even helped with taxi numbers etc! Bonuses with the key touch pad for the door, no worry about losing your key! 5 stars all the way ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great host who responded to any communication swiftly and reassuringly. Property is superb with individual querks which make it unique. Magical information given to us beforehand which was of great value. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Kelly was VERY responsive and helpful. If you are walking the path and having your luggage hauled, no worries Kelly has it all sorted with a storage space, so the haulers will accept. The flat is very nice and right in the center of town making it a very short walk to stores and restaurants.

lovely apartment which was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great central location with fantastic public transport near by. Lottie had sent some reccomendations to visit and places to eat. Like most places Mondays are tricky finding a restaurant open. Everything was great and Lottie was a kind and responsive host who left us gorgeous local goodies to ear, much appreciated

Great flat in the centre of Kendal. Very clean and more spacious than expected. No parking but car park very close by. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay the place met all our needs and more! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break in the Lake District. The location was perfect peaceful yet close to lovely walks, local pubs, and scenic spots. The host was helpful and responsive, making everything easy from start to finish. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stress-free getaway.

Very comfortable, brght and airy appartment/ bedsit - easy walkable access to pubs, restaurants with bus and train options to visit the sites along Hadrians Wall. As it was very warm when we arrived an outdoor space would have been welcome but I think it is a work in progress. Overall a brilliant location for our 2 night stay. Fintan's place is located in the attractive village of Ovingham and is very convenient for accessing places along the Tyne Valley as well as Hadrian's Wall. The bed and shower were both great and all essential needs are provided for.

Was staying here for a family gathering Kim’s place was great, a home from home and she also had lots of brochures in the apartment for things to do myself and family really enjoyed staying here.

We stayed here for two nights while walking the Pennine Way. It was perfect for our rest day, ideally situated in the middle of Hawes. The combined lounge and bedroom was very comfortable and the small kitchen had everything we needed, as well as a nice view of the fells to the north. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely stunning! Perfect get away and stay for the weekend. The views were absolutely stunning and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful too. So peaceful, you can really get away from everything. Unfortunately we didn’t get chance to explore too much as we didn’t have much time due to us taking part in the MacMillan Mighty Hike but we will 100% be back! A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍
