Monthly Rentals in Ravenstonedale

A lovely, clean and simple pod in a peaceful garden setting. Watching the squirrels scampering around and playing in the trees was such a treat!

What an absolutely stunning location! We wanted a relaxing break and this is exactly what we got. Vicki and Tom have created something really special. The Hayloft is small yet had everything we needed for a family of 5. There were plenty of books and games to enjoy. Vicki greeted us at the door, making us feel welcome and had left us some homemade treats. The kids had a blast, exploring the grounds, playing on the trampoline and climbing the nearby hill to catch a glimpse of the fighter jets flying overhead. There was a lovely walk to the river and you can roam freely over the fields. We enjoyed watching the sheep and horses roam and also saw deer, rabbits, frogs and kestrels. The house has a view of the Settle-Carlisle railway so we enjoyed a bit of train spotting too. There was so much to soak up before we even thought about heading out. The nearby town of Kirkby Stephen had plenty of shops and we enjoyed a meal from The Mango Tree Indian. We would 100% recommend a stay here!

Welcoming hosts, very hospitable, home made scones on arrival! Lots of helpful tips about places to eat and visit in the locality. Great location in between the lakes and the dales. Place was homely and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Cottage was very homely, everything there that you would need. Peaceful but not far to nearest town and Juliette was very helpful with any questions I had. Lovely walks straight from the cottage for myself and my dogs Would definitely book again
