Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rio de Janeiro

Paulo’s place was spacious. Copacabana beach is a 8 minute walk and he provides the chairs. There is also A/C in every room. I’d recommend staying here as an American traveler.

We had an excellent vacation in this beautiful apartment. It's so nice that you don't want to leave the apartment. Much nicer than in the photos. The balcony is very comfortable and has an unbeatable view. Carmen was very kind. We will definitely come back. I recommend them 100%, to the whole community.

Beautiful apartment, wooden floors, double glass windows, laundry, complete kitchen… but above all: amazing beach front view over Copacabana. Copacabana is the heart of Rio… there is always something going on. Amazing.

We had a great stay! The host was very attentive and detailed in the information, as well as very flexible with the check-in and check-out times, which was essential since we were coming straight from abroad to visit our relatives. The apartment is small but cozy, ideal for a comfortable stay. All necessary utensils were available, although some dishes and pots already show signs of prolonged use and could be replaced. Communication with Luiz was always quick and clear. We already knew the condominium from other visits to Brazil and we will certainly stay here again. We recommend it!

The apartment is perfect for resting. Full kitchen, with washing machine and an impeccable view! Easy access to the beach and indoor pool. Pedro is very friendly and made himself available all the time. I highly recommend it!

Really really nice appartment. If your booking because you want to see the Christ redeemer from the living room? You cannot any more as there’s a huge building going up right in front. However you can see it from the lovely roof pool area and breakfast terrace. Theres so much more to see than that in Rio! Really safe, friendly staff, food all around. Walk to beach, pool on roof, breakfast served, gym down stairs. Living room ac was broken so it was roasting hot up there. Maintenance was called they came and fixed the bedroom ac. When it’s all sorted it definitely has to be the best air bnb on the block 🌸

The apartment is great: clean, quiet, very well located and with a comfortable bed. It is close to Copacabana beach, with several options of typical Rio bars and places for breakfast nearby. Maria Eduarda was an excellent host, very helpful, always responded quickly and was extremely kind. He allowed us to check in early and, on the last day, offered the possibility of a late check-out, which was perfect, as it coincided with our flight time. Everything was impeccable. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment — it truly felt like home from the very beginning. As a family of three with a young child, we couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, well-located, and thoughtfully designed place to stay in Rio. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos — clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely well-organized. Everything worked perfectly, from the appliances to the lighting and the air conditioning. It had a calm, cozy vibe that made it easy to settle in and feel relaxed right away. Our child also felt completely at ease, which made the whole experience even better. We made wonderful memories here as a family and felt so lucky to have such a lovely, welcoming space to return to each day. Without a doubt, we’ll be back as soon as we return to Rio. Excellent apartment, close to everything, less than 5 minutes from Copacabana beach. Everything is clean, organized and renovated. We were greeted with beer, water, and soda. Everything is in great taste. I will definitely be back!

Had a great experience hosting. The place is amazing, cozy and very well located. Several restaurant options, close to the beach and several transportation options. Rodrigo proved to be an excellent host, with easy communication and very helpful. It would certainly stay at your place when you return to Rio.

Our stay in Rio was really great thanks to this Airbnb, its perfect location, and Matheus' kindness. We recommend it without a second thought! In addition, the caretakers and other residents of the building were all so kind and caring to us! We can't wait to get back to Rio and this Airbnb :)

Leandro is the nicest kindest host and the apartment is huge and spotless, in an amazing location with amazing views of the beach, steps from restaurants and a great supermarket, and really safe. the apt has every amenity you could think of, and has hundreds of interesting books and great pieces of art. in short, this is one of THE best apartments I have ever stayed at and if you book anywhere else in Rio you are missing out. did I mention that Leandro answered all of my questions right away and was incredibly helpful. a dream host. I know I might sound like a paid PR but I am just an incredibly happy grateful guest.

Beautiful place! Small hidden paradise, with every comfort! Barbecue where I could cook good meat, pizza oven (wood provided). Try making your own dough and warm up their garlic bread (fresh section). Accessible supermarkets (walk there, take a taxi back). Excellent sound and wifi (the best is to have a streaming service to listen to bossa nova continuously;). On Friday and Saturday afternoon and/or evening there is a samba party nearby (but we only heard the atmosphere from above). Ricardo speaks excellent French, and Cris speaks English. She gave us good advice (including hospital in Botafogo for day and night consultation if necessary). We were treated to fabulous massages at home, by the beautiful pool, by Alix almamassagem (a French woman living in Rio). In short, an unforgettable stay, thank you!!! PS: Beware of snatch or forced theft, wherever you are in Rio! (Do not wear jewelry, hide your mobile phones).

I had an excellent experience in Genilza's apartment in Copacabana. The property was very clean, well equipped and with all the necessary utensils for a comfortable stay. The location is great, in a safe area, with many shops and easy access to everything. The building is very organized, the staff are extremely attentive and the shower is excellent, which made a big difference in the quality of the stay. I also want to highlight Genilza's attention, always very helpful and available to help with any questions or needs. I highly recommend the apartment for those looking for a quiet, comfortable and well-located stay in Rio de Janeiro.

Everything is very clean and organized, close to the market, pharmacy, convenience store and one block from the sea... very well located! Kite and polite staff. Very well-equipped apartment. Silvia (host) is very polite and helpful, I had no problems with anything. I will definitely come back more often. I recommend it!

Wonderful apartment and location for first time visitors! Super close to the metro but also walkable to plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, cafes. The apartment was easy to check in and flexible. 24/7 front desk who are also very friendly and always a sense of security. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in Ipanema! The space is spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The view of the beach is incredible—you’re literally just steps away from the sand, right across the street. The building felt very safe, with friendly and helpful doormen and a prime location right next to the Fasano Hotel. The area is well-patrolled and secure, with lots of police presence. Jane was a wonderful host—she checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well and was always available to answer any questions. The location couldn’t be better: walking distance to Leblon, Arpoador, and Copacabana, with tons of great shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The rooftop pool was a huge bonus—absolutely stunning views and surprisingly peaceful, as we hardly ever saw anyone else using it. It felt like our own private retreat above the city. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Rio. Highly recommend!

An amazing place to stay with beautiful 360 view of the entire city, you can even see the redeemer statue from the apartment. Very close to everything and Gilles is exceptionally helpful and communicative. I look forward to coming back!
