Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rio de Janeiro

A beautiful space with amazing views. My family of seven had more than enough room. We arrived at 2am and had no issues accessing the home. There was a 24/7 security Marco was wonderful and was always up waiting for us. The house is located in a quiet residential area. people were friendly and we were close to everything We used uber to go everywhere it was super inexpensive. The kitchen was well-equipped and l was able to cook meals for a large group. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all concerns l loved the peace and serenity this home provided during our stay in Brazil. Thanks to our hosts

Our experience at Sam Río’s art deco mansion was wonderful. Everything was great from check-in, cleanliness, communication, outstanding location, and even some playboy posters make for an authentic rio feel inside of the beautiful art deco mansion. The balcony has breath taking views of the sunrise and sunset. We had a group of 8 guys, who all had plenty of room for themselves. This mansion is located near the favela’s but we never once felt unsafe and even got to walk through and explore the favela area, just be smart. Located right between Ipanema and Copacabana, we felt like we were located in the middle of everything. Short walks to the great beaches, shops, and restaurants. Overall, if your looking to get the authentic rio and cultural feel I highly recommend staying with Goitaca in this beautiful art deco mansion.

Bruno is an exceptional host! His house managers Jardel and Dora are the most caring people! They truly made the difference in our stay. Oh, and the breakfast every morning was the cherry on top. Anytime we needed help, they were always willing to go the extra mile. My friend even accidentally left her phone in the van from the airport and Bruno was able to coordinate with the drivers to retrieve it for her. We were so grateful to have him! Our group of 6 had a fantastic time in Rio at this Air B&B. Highly recommend staying here!

Andre was a truly amazing host. He lives nearby and treated us more like friends than guests. We were even invited to his birthday party — an unforgettable and authentic dive into Brazilian culture. The home is located about 1.5 kilometers up a rocky dirt road, with a 300-meter elevation gain — which probably makes a huge difference during the hot season. The views of the granite mountains are stunning, and you really feel immersed in nature. Monkeys are frequent guests There are fantastic hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to a waterfall, and I especially recommend the trail to Chinesa Vista — one of the most breathtaking views of the city from above. It’s about a 30-minute walk each way and a great little workout

My second time staying in a place managed by Sergio and Pilar. Great hosts. The place is a bit small so I would not recommend for stays longer than a week or two.

Exceptional Estádia, starting with the reception, with in-person check-in, where he was guided and all doubts and clarifications removed, presented local places and was ready to meet us, the place is a cozy one, contained everything in the description, super recommend and I will return when I am in the city. The security with concierge 24h, the only point to be cited is something that does not depend only on the Host, the building is old, has two elevators and one failed (but it was solved in less than 4 hours) and the second one is closed, but this is more dependent on the administration of the building itself.

I definitely loved the property… Eliane is an amazing host …..The property is perfect and cozy and located near the beach …..literally three blocks away and there’s so many restaurants and so many choices around. I can’t wait to book the property again later on this year.

I really enjoyed my stay! The apartment was absolutely gorgeous and had a great location - it is literally across the street from the beach! Camille was extremely helpful and responsive during my stay, even sending my friend and I several recommendations for activities to do in Rio. The location of the apartment is great, with great local restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It is also just a quick Uber ride away from big attractions like Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. Overall, I had a great experience and would stay again if I came back to Rio.

The apartment is amazing, new, beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. It even makes you want to live in it rs. The location is amazing, close to the beach and with great restaurants around. Gilmar is a very kind host, the porter was also very kind to help us with our bags. I will definitely return at other times.

Sidney was very helpful to our one member of our group that had a later flight, which she really appreciated. Sidney supplied great information ahead of time which helped us with planning. It took us a couple of days to figure out where things were around the condo. It’s close to the beach and there was an evening open air market for souvenirs, local art, hats, tshirts etc. right along the road next to the beach. We really enjoyed our time there.
