Loved the cottage! It’s perfect for a quick getaway! The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet! We got to test out a towel warmer they had available and it was so nice that I’m seriously considering investing in one for my home. We loved our stay!

Angela’s place was perfect for our quick trip home. Honestly, it was one of the cleanest, cutest and relaxing stays we’ve had. The location was convenient, I was born and raised in Galena but didn’t know these places were out there. Definitely recommend. Better than a hotel stay.

Shaun was an awesome host—super flexible with check-in, gave us crystal-clear instructions for all the electronics (we felt like tech pros!), and went above and beyond to make sure both we and our furry friends felt right at home. Highly recommend!

This was my second time staying here, and it only confirmed what I already knew: Jackie is truly the best Airbnb host I’ve ever had. I felt incredibly welcomed from the moment I arrived. After a long day of travel, finding snacks, water, and even chocolates by the bed was such a thoughtful touch. The house itself is even nicer and more spacious than the photos show—clean, comfortable, and so easy to settle into. The neighborhood is lovely too, with friendly and welcoming neighbors that make the stay feel even more special. What really sets Jackie apart is how attentive and kind she is. Whether it was her or a family member, someone was always available and right on top of anything I needed, always responsive and genuinely caring. You don’t find that level of thoughtfulness often. I’m so grateful to have found this place and already can’t wait to return again.
