Holiday rentals with breakfast in Portree

This is the most pleasant and scenic place I've ever stayed in the UK! I originally wanted to book a hotel in Portree, but when I saw the photos of this place, I felt it would be great, and I was very satisfied! Aileen is a very enthusiastic host, and we had a super fun chat with her. She also showed us her meaningful collection, and her occasional humor made us laugh. This is the warmth and style of the Highlands, which I really like. If I come to the Highlands again, I will definitely stay here again to enjoy the pleasant scenery!

Perfect location and very comfortable and clean accommodations. Two adult friends travelling together. The space was big enough for us to feel like we could move around and not bump into each other (as we felt in other places on our trip).

Maureen est une hôte très serviable et accueillante Son petit déjeuner est parfait et elle est toujours aux petits soins . La maison est très chaleureuse et cossue, on ne s’attend pas à être dans un lieu pareil (encore mieux que sur les photos). Nous sommes entourés de moutons, lapins et nous avons pu apercevoir les chevreuils sauvages. Merci pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil, restez comme vous êtes 😍

We loved our stay here, the view from the living room is amazing and we loved the breakfast’s every morning! The bedroom was very small but they allow you to use the living area too so not too bad. We also loved the two dogs! Perfect location for visiting the Isle of Skye - would stay here again if we were up.

The bedroom and ensuite were very nice. The location is easy walking distance from the center of Portree. Sandra is a wonderful host. Very friendly and engaging. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The location is very central for exploring Skye. Lots of space to park. A great place to stay

Ein kleines, aber feines Zimmer auf Skye mit kleinem Frühstück und tollem Blick aus dem Zimmer. Nachts war es ruhig und die Umgebung sehr idyllisch, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Für zwei Tage Aufenthalt war es für uns perfekt!

Isabel was an amazing host. She was there to welcome us to her home, showed us around, and made us feel extremely welcome. The School house itself is in a peaceful location in the countryside, central to everywhere on the Isle of Skye. The breakfast included with the stay was also an appreciated amenity. I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again.

The house in Corpach is a lovely place: spacious, nicely furnished, and with a very well eqipped kitchen. It's in a quiet location but it's very easy to get from there to Fort William and on into Glen Nevis (or to just take a stroll down by the coast or the canal). Frazer is a very fine host: welcoming and good at communications.

Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

Wir waren vier Tage bei Kathryn, und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, alles war blitzsauber. Kathryn hat uns gar schon etwas in den Kühlschrank gestellt, das hat uns sehr gefreut. Die Kommunikation lief bestens, Kathryn war super hilfsbereit. Es waren tolle Tage in den Highlands.

Its remote, and eating out is not possible after 19:00, bokings esential, drive over the hils is hard

Great place to stay to escape the Scottish weather. Nice clean space, lovely restaurant and the sauna is a welcome addition! Would recommend for two people.

Loved our stay. Perfect for the Fort William area, a great base for exploring! The view of the loch from the Lounge or master bedroom is absolutely stunning, the flat is just off the main road leading up to town. Access is via stairs at the back of the property, dedicated parking out the front. Property was very warm, very clean, comfy bed and generous layout. My partner and I had lots of room for our 3 dogs. Dog walking along the Loch, just across the road, easy peasy! Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely couple of nights. We stayed before and after we climbed Ben Nevis. It was a 5 minute drive to the visitor centre where we started, which was great, especially after the climb. Plenty of space and amenities, and a very warm and powerful shower!

Really lovely location, the view was amazing! Well equipped kitchen & cleaning cupboard. Lovely decor & open space. Easy to follow instructions for access & plenty of parking. Thank you for a great stay. :)

Sehr nette Leute! es war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Das Haus ist so gelegen, dass sehr viele Touren leicht machbar sind, vorausgesetzt man ist mobil.

We stayed at Jayne and Ross’s BnB for our honeymoon, and couldn’t have asked for a more delightful space! The room was large (kind bed, two arm chairs by the window, a desk, armoir) and had a lovely view over the loch. And the bathroom was what dreams are made of - great shower (water pressure!), and claw footed tub, makeup space, and tons of room. And the general home has wonderful decor and charm (think pull strings for lights in the bathroom). Breakfasts were easy, and Ross even gave us a tour of his bagpipe shop next door! And great access to both Isle of Skye and daytrips north. One of the top Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

a fantastic place to stay very quiet a nice walk along the Loch to dornie village, room very clean and everything you need. helpful hosts and breakfast was 10 out of 10. very pleasant and comfortable

The view from suite is great. It is very quiet atmosphere, and feels nature. The room is very comfortable to stay. We enjoyed plenty of tasty breakfast , they are enough for picnic lunch. Several kinds of coffee and Various tea. Good hospitality. The best Airbnb in the area.

Alasdair is a wonderful human and the chance to experience him, his companion Ross the Dog, and the out of this world landscape of his croft was an honour. He made us feel like family and the chance to get to know him was a highlight of our whole trip to the Hebrides. The beds were so comfy, the breakfast amazing (we watched him feed the chickens who gave us our breakfast eggs while we ate), the local knowledge advice of places and adventures invaluable. Do yourself a favour and get to know him (and Ross) and experience his place. A memory for life for us.

Room is clean, bed is huge and comfortable. The road is close but the noise is not a problem. Breakfast is very good with lots of stuff. Catherine even provided gluten free options on demand. The ceiling is quite low, so it may not be suitable for people above 2 meters high.

Magnifique séjour chez Ann et mon seul regret est de n'y être reste qu'une nuit. Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse et confortable, propreté irréprochable, emplacement magnifique, petit déjeuner parfait, nombreuses recommandations... je n'ai que des compliments à dire sur ce séjour et j'espère avoir le plaisir de revenir chez Ann un jour !
