Holiday rentals with a patio in Portree

We had a wonderful stay - everything was in perfect condition and exactly as described. The kitchen is well laid out and functional, and we loved all the natural light from the windows and skylights. Dorothy was a lovely host and highly communicative. We thought the location was convenient about 5 minutes away from Broadford and 35 minutes from Portree. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Portree with Mary. Easy to find, Mary greeted us when we arrived. The location is perfect - gorgeous views, away from downtown, but still an easy , short walk to the restaurants and shops. The flat was immaculate, with very comfortable beds, fresh fruit and , and breakfast supplies. It’s the perfect place in Portree to explore the Isle of Skye

Sue’s place was absolutely perfect for exploring Portree (only a few mins from town center) and hiking the surrounding areas. We wanted a calm peaceful place to hang out after long days of hiking and this ticked all those boxes. The place was pristine and cosy at the same time. We loved looking out at all the sheep and baby lambs that were frolicking in the field outside the window. Would absolutely stay here again!

The apartment was great and had everything we need. Not only, it had incredible views and was well located in relation to the town, with restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. It was a great place to base ourselves as we explored the rest of Isle of Skye. Karen was a great host and provided all the necessary information, adding to the wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful few days at Sarah’s place in Shieldaig. A fabulous location and perfect accommodation. Really comfortable and well equipped. Sarah was the ideal host - welcoming and hospitable and we would highly recommend her home. We enjoyed it very much.

We had a great stay at Isobel's place. Isobel was very responsive and friendly. Everything was well taken care of, we would come back again.

This was an awesome spot. Beautiful view, lots of parking space, and very clean. Beds were very comfy and 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Definitely recommend.

We liked the house very much and we felt right at home. It is very nice in nature and quiet. You can easily reach many sights by car. Our favorite place was outside on the small terrace, with the beautiful view and the rushing of the stream. We would definitely recommend the place.

Dal na Mara literally took my breath away. I'd seen all the photos, but the reality is ethereal! I literally spent the first day looking out the windows, listening to the wind, watching the sun move across the water, islands, and mountains. I will treasure my week of relaxation and being in the moment. The home is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and creates a wonderful home for the week. Helga has thought of everything as well as the directions. I ever closed the blinds because I wanted to see the view 24-7. Private, so I didn't feel exposed. The bed was a cloud. So many places to travel see the incomparable NW Highlands as well as Ullapool. BEST TRAVEL LOCATION AND ACCOMMODATION IN 35 YEARS!!

Lovely location that served as our base for a week of hiking on Skye. Serene setting with views of water, sheep and dappled horses !

Very lovely stay. Not far to drive to anywhere. Host was helpful and quick at replies and happy to help. Would definitely stay again. House was homely and host left lots of bits for when we arrived. Very lovely peaceful environment. Sofa's are very comfortable along with the bed's. Spacious and overall a very very lovely stay. I would 100% recommend.

Perfect location for exploring Skye and surrounding areas. Dornie Croft was an outstanding property very tastefully finished with everything you could need right down to lunch boxes and thermos flasks. Would not hesitate to return.

Beautifully restored and renovated cottage overlooking a gorgeous inlet at Ardheslaig. Host had some really touches to the cottage and they had thought of everything you may need during your stay. Everything seemed very new. The cottage was further out than we expected and we felt the location descriptors indicating property location was confusing. The property is located at Ardheslaig. The road leading to the property is narrow, winding and one lane and we found the cottage difficult to locate as our sat nav and google maps did not work for the last few kms due to no reception. Hosts description of looking out for a Red Phone Box outside her cottage was our saviour. Once we got there, we had no problem navigating our way to and from the cottage for day trips. Best to bring food supplies as no shops just down the road. Host certainly provided adequate staples which was great. Absolutely gorgeous cottage with amazing water views..totally recommend. Host readily contactable.

I had a wonderful stay at hideaway 2. Peggy gave me clear instructions for check in and the unit was as described. It was lovely looking out to Ben Nevis no matter the weather and it was nice and quiet. There is another unit upstairs so I occasionally heard footsteps but nothing disruptive. Peggy was very responsive, she even came and helped me workout the door lock. Peggy gave great local recommendations for meals and taxi services. The space is very spacious and a washing machine/dryer was a great bonus.

Fantastic space with spectacular views. Everything that is needed in pristine condition. Marcus and Anna gave a warm welcome and shared great local knowledge and recommendations which made the stay even better!! Fantastic welcome pack too! Hope to be back again!

A very stylish, comfortable, warm and cosy place to stay with views of Skye, weather permitting. Sorry it couldn’t be longer. Love the decor, very comfy lounge and bed.

Rosey’s place was absolutely perfect, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had our privacy, plenty of room for parking, and a beautiful view. The patio was sprinkled with beautiful plants and plenty of lounge seating to enjoy the view. Rosey also washed our laundry and returned it folded and clean to us in a timely manner. I wish we would’ve booked this part of our stays longer!

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!

Stayed at Fiona's flat for two nights in June 2025. The apartment has lovely views of Mallaig Harbour so you can watch the boats coming and going and is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the town centre. The property was easy to find and access thanks to the clear instructions provided, and exceptionally clean. The flat is also very comfortable. Overall, we had an excellent stay and will most definitely return in the very near future.
