The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

We stayed 5 amazing days at Il Gufo and loved every minute. Jacopo is an amazing host and went out of his way throughout to make our stay great. Even meeting us locally and showing us the way to the house. We highly recommend staying at The Owl. The location, high in a valley provides spectacular views and is perfect to relax and unwind. We do not know what was better. The location, accommodations or the fact that we met Jacopo and became immediate friends. That combination made for the greatest memories. Also Luba, their beautiful dog, immediately loved us and greeted us ever time we returned. A little secret, he is an amazing chef and if you get a chance to go to his restaurant do it. Also his dinner recommendations were great. We had dinner at Corte Dei Frati 2 times. Thank you Jacopo for making our 30th Anniversary trip so amazing. We were an extended family of eight. The accommodation can only be described as perfect for us. The views were amazing and it was just so peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and the short trips to many restaurants and surrounding villages. That said, we spent most mornings and evenings soaking up the views across the valley to Volterra and beautiful villages dotted on the hillside. Andrea takes huge pride in being accessible and instantaneously responsive. A pleasure to deal with. A small bar / cafe across the road took care of morning coffee’s and any gelato pangs. Thank you Andrea, you made our stay so very memorable. Our only disappointment was leaving!!

This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!

We loved our stay here! The house and the views were truly as picturesque as it seems in the photos. A dream spot! The town itself is full of local flair and is beautiful too. Not touristy at all. Close enough to nearby towns though to explore more of Tuscany! Overall a great stay and Laura was a kind and responsive host.

What a magical, unforgettable place to stay! The home is the perfect size for two, and we felt right at home. It’s very clean with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and cooking appliances. We really enjoyed waking up to the sound of birds singing and having breakfast on the patio before making excursions to Siena, Florence, Poppi, or nearby Rufina. The neighbor’s cats also greeted us home when we returned (very lovingly!). Would absolutely love to stay again!

Letizia was already waiting for us at the gate and gave us a warm welcome, she showed us around the house and left a present. Fresh selfmade olive oil and apricot jam! Letizia is a wonderful host and responds very quickly to questions (with W-app). The location is about 10 minutes drive away from the beach and the wonderful inland of Toscane (and lots of restaurants).

The view from the terrace of the hills of Tuscany, the sea and the islands is priceless! It is a special experience when Rocco's flock of pigeons draws its circles tightly around the cottage. At night you can see fireflies in the meadow behind the house - magical! We also enjoyed the opportunity to attend a dinner at the Toscani Ranch. It was a very warm, family atmosphere! The location is perfect to explore Tuscany. Casale Marittimo is just a stone's throw away and rightly recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We also made excursions to San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Florence and down to the thermal baths of Saturnia and the Giardino dei Tarocchi. The sea is only 15 minutes away by car. The pine forest on the beach of Cecina is worth seeing, as is the Torre de Bibbone. You have to bring basic equipment for the kitchen, we recommend buying the delicious olive oil from Rocco! Staying in this apartment was wonderful. My boyfriend and I spent two nights immersed in the Tuscan countryside in a small cozy apartment, very clean and equipped with everything you need. The garden is beautiful, full of fruit trees and sweet cats that enrich the living room. We will soon return to visit Sheila in her lovely country house.

Beautiful and amazing are key words that describe place, house, and hosts. The views are exquisite and play in interaction with the amazing hosts who were very welcoming and service-oriented to the last detail. The photos are very representative, a stay for four is very pleasant. The view from the balcony is peaceful. Having the possibility to park the car in front of the door is a plus. Grocery stores are 15 minutes away, and restaurants are in a nearby village.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

Very easy to find and close to funicular that ran every 30 minutes on schedule. At least 5 restaurants for lunch and dinner. Small store for basics. Terrace facing northeast was wonderful in the morning. Umbrellas for shade if needed. Washer with folding clothesline to dry inside or out. We only used the main bedroom and bath - both on second floor. Very nice. The second bedroom was on the second floor and second bath was in the basement - did not use those spaces or the sitting room in walkout basement. Kitchen stocked with basics for electric coffee maker (a bit noisy) and hand brother. Gas stove for heating milk. Toaster oven. Large grid freezer with many ice trays. Enjoyed the cat that showed up A few times. Easy 20 min walk from main train station (not Centro) to funicular. Main station also had many bus connections like to Grotta Giusti but only to swim in outdoor pool. You can’t swim in the cave - too bad. Would love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful accommodation in Tuscany. The views are stunning, and the property includes a small, fenced garden, which was perfect for our dog. There's also a large pool available to all guests, which was a huge plus. Having a car is a must. The location is ideal for visiting local spots like Siena, San Gimignano, and Val d’Orcia. The host provides a fantastic guidebook with recommendations, and we were never disappointed by any of the places he suggested. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed relaxing dinners in the garden under the lights. Overall, it's a cozy and comfortable place, perfect for a Tuscan vacation

Nedda's place is a dream, impossible to describe in words and even more beautiful than in the pictures. We had absolute privacy and enjoyed our time to the max. Surrounded by nature, we discovered something new every day. In the evenings we listened to the birds and heard one or two rare species. Lizards were our daily visitors, and we were daily visitors to the turtles ;) The house is clean and comfortably furnished. When we arrived there were vases of flowers from the garden everywhere. Nedda herself is a wonderful, calm and interesting person. She showed us the garden, was communicative, courteous, but left us absolutely our privacy. We recommend the place without reservation and will definitely be back. A special tip is the old town of Calle del Valle d'Elsa. Absolutely no tourists (at least in May), wonderful alleyways, fantastic views and beautiful churches. There is a lovely square at the end of the main street where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail from the bar.

What a place! An absolutely perfect little hideaway in an absolutely gorgeous location. This charming abode has exactly what you need to completely escape and soak in the stunning surroundings of the Tuscan landscape. Even though it rained quite a bit of our visit, sitting on the veranda overlooking the pool and rolling hills nice and dry under the tent was magical - the lush view could never get old! The stone space is as quiet and cozy as can be - comfortable bed and couch, very functional kitchen, nice bathroom. Pretty antiques make the space homey. My husband even jumped in the very cold pool in the rain and now we want to come back in the summer sun to enjoy it more. Tommaso was incredibly sweet and offered recommendations and walked us through the whole place upon check in - and he was kind and responsive the whole time. Really can’t recommend this experience enough!

A most beautiful retreat in the most peaceful area! A private, hillside home built with great love and amazing care! Paola and Luigi were exceptional hosts! We loved everything about this wonderful, restful and magical place! And how amazing that we were able to watch the fireflies dance as we gazed at the beautiful starry, Tuscan sky from our private hot tub! Every detail of La Cipressina was fabulous! Thank you!
