Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pleasure Island

The beach house was clean and nicely furnished. We had ample room for seven adults. It could comfortably sleep 9 people since the day bed was large enough for an adult in the alcove area. We were disappointed that the bicycles and the kayaks at the house were locked and we could not use them. But we enjoyed the sound with the beautiful sunsets and the beach was a short walk from the house. All in all a great house and vacation!

Location is fantastic. Right on the beach. Wonderful view from the porch. Our family had a great stay. The condo is a little dated but for the location doesn’t matter all that much.

Exceptional customer service! When our coffee maker quit working one morning, they replaced it within the hour. They were very responsive to any questions or requests. Everything was very clean and exactly as described. We will definitely use Bryant Real Estate for our next trip.

I had an amazing stay at this beach rental house! The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of fun in the sun. The house was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The host was exceptionally responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, from check-in to check-out. We appreciated the thoughtful initial items provided, which made settling in so easy. The location couldn't have been better—just a short walk to the beach and close to great restaurants, making it so convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Beautiful ocean front home with plenty of space for our large group. Very quiet community with beach access that felt almost private. Close proximity to restaurants and coffee shops with a short drive to the Carolina Beach area. The host was responsive and helpful prior to check-in and facilitated an early arrival. I think it’s important to note the only free parking is a two-car garage that can hold up to two midsize SUVs. There is not a driveway; therefore, if you have a bigger vehicle, plan to park on the street and pay daily parking fees. We will definitely plan another visit in this property.

This is best stay I’ve had at an Airbnb. Comfortable, quiet, safe for traveling alone, and hosts were just the best. Goldie the cat , who would’ve stayed out my way had I not enticed him with scritches and a few treats, was an added bonus for me. I booked a second consecutive week!

We love the pink flamingo! This is our second time staying at Cindy‘s home. Great location, spacious house. I truly love that. It’s a home away from home, when you reach for something, it’s almost there in the kitchen. Very equipped to make many meals. Our college age boys and wiener dog had a blast! Tons of games as well! We already booked for our next stay.

We loved our week at Blue Turtle Cottage! It’s bright, clean and charming. Just a short walk to the beach. Leslie and Kay were lovely hosts. We’d definitely come back if our plans bring us to OKI. The king bed is super comfy!. Thanks for hosting us! 💙🐢

Donovan’s Reef was the perfect house for our yearly mother daughter trip. We enjoyed how close to the beach we were and the beach access points, loved the outside shower to rinse off before going inside, kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfy! Check in and out was easy and Holly was super prompt with responding!

This condo was perfect for a quick little get away for the family! There was plenty of room and having a pool and being beach front was perfect with the little one. Being downtown helped as well as it was easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Tori was very responsive and helped us as best as possible when we needed to reach out to her. We will definitely be looking to stay here again if we are able!

We come to wrightsville beach several times per year and we will be back to this home. It had a great layout got a large family. We came with our 2 sons and our 4 grand children and never felt cramped. It's a home we will frequent while in wrightsville.

This was the second time that we stayed at this condo. Both times, we had a really great experience with the host and the cleaning company. The condo is perfect! Had everything we needed and in a great location. Jeff is an amazing host. Very proactive and tells you everything you need to know up front. We will rent from Jeff over and over!

We just wrapped up an amazing stay at this beautiful beach town property, and I can’t say enough good things about it! We were celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday with a family and friend's getaway, and this place could not have been more perfect. The layout of the house was fantastic— it was incredibly spacious and super comfortable, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The layout was perfect for both hanging out together and having quiet moments to unwind. It had everything we needed and more—from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy beds and stylish decor that made it feel like a true home away from home. Not to mention that it was a stone's throw from the beach. Our whole party had such a great time, and the birthday celebration felt extra special thanks to the beautiful setting. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable beach escape!

5 Star stay for long weekend. Pictures display a truly classy comfy townhouse that smells lovely and has everything you need. Bedrooms are spacious and linens are very comfortable. Perfect home with perfect location to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. Easy and clear instructions for check in and check out. Thank you John and Katie for our enjoyable experience. For being a last minute trip to Wrightsville beach, Matthew made it easy with his excellent communication and instructions. The place is centrally located, an easy walk to coffee, restaurants and bars. The views of the beach/ocean are perfect and the condo was very clean. If you are looking for a place to stay in Wrightsville I'd recommed staying at Matthew's place.

I cannot say enough positive words about this property. The best I have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly want or need was available in the condo. All appliances were top of the line with extras as in blender, air fryer, everything. It was very well decorated with high end decor. Beautiful view, easy access to beach. Just a hop across street to a lovely beach. The balcony was comfortable and great for morning coffee and evening beverages and dinner. The parking was easy, we always had a covered spot for car. The pool was so nice and just a few steps away. The host was available for any information we wanted to ask as in restaurants, entertainment, etc. We will definitely be back.

Patricia was a wonderful host...always responded in a timely manner. The condo was perfect and is a in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants around. I hope to stay here again next summer.
