Holiday rentals with a patio in Pleasure Island

Beautiful condo. Very clean and updated. My family had a great time and the host was excellent. Everything was so well thought out (well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and a full closet of beach essentials) Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. Shelby was a delightful host! We absolutely loved the area and her apartment was the perfect place for our weekend in town. The house was clean, comfortable and right across the street from the beach. She made sure we had everything we needed and was extremely sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Donna's style and attention to detail make this place a showstopper. It was beautifully decorated and spotless. The communication was prompt, and we were so grateful. Unfortunately, my husband had booked a different place that looked like a good place for college kids to stay, and it was uncomfortable. We moved out and were fortunate that Donna's place was available. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is immaculate. The dishes, pans, etc are all like new. We felt right at home. There was an outside closet downstairs with coolers, beach toys, and chairs to borrow. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

Beautiful place! The decor and overall aesthetic was so well done and picturesque. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to a lot of restaurants, stores, a park, and ice cream shops. Directions were clear and easy and it was nice to know that only the people that were staying in the complex had access to the pool and beach. Great stay and very kind management!

Was in Wilmington for a 5 day work trip. Great place to break up the monotony of staying in a hotel every week. The location is perfect and the vibes of the unit and building are immaculate. Would 100% book again if I find myself in Wilmington for work or personal travel!

We love Erika's place. This is our 2nd stay and we have already booked a 3rd. It's neat and clean. The bed is comfy. She provides towels, linens, soap, and shampoo. It's easy to access the entire island by bicycle. Lots of recommendations in her book. It's a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Our favorite vacation spot.

Risako's place was beautiful, spotless, and had every convenience. Not only did we find everything we we had a need for throughout the week, but everything was in great condition as well. The kitchen was well stocked and it was fun to cook and eat there. The bathrooms were spotless, stocked with extra necessities, and had luxurious showers. In the main level living room, sectional was very comfortable and big enough for our family of 7 to fit on it comfortably for movie nights. We spent a lot of time on the deck, too, and the back yard was pretty and big enough for the kids to play in. Kure Beach was new to us and we loved it. Lots of beautiful homes and landscaping, a great neighborhood for walking, running, and biking and close to a paved bike trail that connects to a nice park. The house is a very short, easy walk to the beach while still being out of the way of most of the beach traffic, and we enjoyed walking to the pavilion for beach church and a concert.

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

Wow! Loved this sweet, chic beach cottage, very short walk to the beach, where we saw some serious surfing. House is super clean and comfy, and the host thought of everything -- king beds, great kitchen setup, and every beach toy you can imagine. Did a lot of reading and relaxed on the big front porch -- it's on a quiet residential street where you can hear the ocean a block away but lots of birdsong, too. Closer to Kure than Carolina, which we liked. Spent an evening watching the sunset at Fort Fisher and another checking out the historic boardwalk at Carolina Beach. New fave beach rental: we will be back!

My dogs and I enjoyed a solo vacation at this cute little cottage! I must say this place is so so quiet! Never even heard anyone staying in the main house. The house was clean as a whistle and so very comfortable. We will definitely be back! It’s walking distance to several restaurants, convenient store, ice cream, coffee stops. I didn’t even move my car for 4 days! 2 blocks from beach and this house supplies all you need for a day at the beach including a shibumi! Seriously nice host and amazing stay. We will definitely be back! Thanks sooo much for a great experience ❤️🐶🐶❤️

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was beautiful and clean in a quite neighborhood. It was well stocked with all the necessities. Sam was responsive and welcoming. The home is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely stay again when visiting the area!

Had a peaceful weekend getaway with my girlfriend here. It’s a beautiful home with a historic look and feel. Comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom, clean kitchen, private parking, nice colors, and a lot of natural light. It did everything we needed to and more. Special thanks to the hosts for reaching out and making sure everything was top notch, and replying quick to any questions or needs. Would stay here again.

We had a great time staying in this cozy cottage. Mike was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. This is our second time staying in this duplex. Both sides are equally as great! The small fenced in yard for the dogs and being able to sit on the porch where you can hear and see the ocean is so peaceful. Would stay again!

My husband and I came down for a quick couple days get away, and it was a perfect place to stay! Convenient to everything, steps from the beach, and very private and quiet. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool after spending a couple hours on the beach! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is a great condo in Carolina Beach! Great beach access, beautiful view of the ocean and a really nice pool. Nice touches in the condo to make it feel like home and a comfortable bed.

The beautiful balcony, space just as expected, responsive host, and all the essentials already there made our first family of 3 vacation with our little boy very enjoyable! We loved ordering dinner and eating on the patio to watch the sunset. The pool is clean and perfect after a day at the beach!

We originally wanted to stay at a beachfront property but everything was sold out by the time we were able to book. We were pleasantly surprised by this property’s location and loved that our unit was on the first floor. It was a ~4 min walk to the beach didn’t see until later that there was an outdoor shower attached to the building! We did run out of toilet paper after 3 days with 7 guests and had to go and buy more. We also left a few things behind and the hosts have been very nice in trying to get our things back to us. We’d definitely stay here again :)

We had a great vacation and highly recommend this condo! The rental was beautiful, very homey, updated and clean. The location can’t be beat. It was convenient getting to both the pool and the beach. It was only a couple of steps if you forgot something and had to run back. Even though the pool was shared, it was rarely crowded. The condo was well stocked, beyond your typical “enough to get started”. There were cleaning supplies, including dishwasher pods, trash bags, and laundry detergent. The kitchen was well stocked, had great appliances and all the basic cooking supplies like salt & pepper, cooking oil, coffee pods and coffee filters. The two decks were amazing. The view from the second story deck was incredible. I wish they had a table on one of the decks so we could eat meals outside while looking at the ocean, but we made do with the rocking chairs. The beds were a little stiff for our liking, but that’s personal preference. Otherwise it was amazing and we’ll be back!

The perfect condo for our family to spend some much needed time at the beach. We loved how close to the beach it was, the cleanliness of the room and that it had modern touches and decor. We felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again!

The place is exactly how the host described. The beach, restaurants, and attractions were within walking distance. We didn't use a vehicle once we arrived. The host were very attentive and responded to our needs immediately. The only con we experienced was that both Roku televisions would not connect to the internet, but if you're on vacation, why need a television 🤷‍♂️.

This was my wife and I’s fourth stay at Nicole’s place, and we have had nothing short of great experiences each time. Always great with communication, and provides accommodations unlike anywhere else we have ever stayed. We look forward to this trip each year because of the host’s commitment to ensuring the stay is seamless and relaxing.
