We had such a great stay here! The space is lovely and the surroundings felt so peaceful. Meg was a great host and would recommend!

We had a co host Aziza and she was fabulous as well as friendly and provided clear instructions when needed. I will be back.

We couldn’t have picked a better place for our two night stay. The location is secluded away from the hassle and bustle of Puerto Viejo but close where you can take a Tuk Tuk or bike ride (easy to rent nearby) to the center. Playa Chiquita is the closest beach but you can also visit Cocles and Punta Uva (our fave). The Airbnb has all the amenities you need and the host, Stephanie, was very responsive. We hope to return to this hidden oasis soon!

Host was lovely and helped us when needed. A cute place to stay and very handy to have a contact for tuk tuk transportation and great Italian food when requested.

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

The place is lovely and very lovingly furnished. It is located in the countryside with great views of nature. We could watch the sloths and monkeys from the terrace. It is quiet, safe and all destinations in Puerto Viejo are easily accessible. The apartment is well laid out, very clean and it has everything you need. If you have any questions, there is also a very nice contact person on site. Highlight of the apartment is the beautiful terrace and the practical kitchen. We felt very comfortable all around, it was like coming home. We highly recommend the place for a nice stay in Puerto Viejo and will definitely be back. Thanks for the nice week!

Very beautiful place and easily accessible. Very close to downtown Puerto Viejo. Hosts responded in a timely manner.

Second year in a row staying in Anielkas place and don’t regret it. The place is fully equipped, close to playa negra beach and lots of walkable restaurants in the center of Puerto Viejo. The place is clean and safe.

We loved the house and the garden. Staying in the middle of the jungle is magical. If you are looking for a silent place, this isn’t the one cause the monkeys, roosters, dogs and birds will wake you up very early but if you are looking for a jungle experience this is it! The house is super clean and beautiful, full of butterflies and beautiful animals that come to visit .

I loved the place! really peaceful with beautiful gardens. It rained a lot, but that's tje Caribbean in CR. The place is really closed to restaurants and beaches. You can go by car or bike. The kitchen has the necessary. I will come back definitely

Erin and her husband are incredibly warm and welcoming people who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The house is beautifully laid out, especially for a family with young children and perhaps grandparents as well. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are conveniently located close together on the lower level, and there is another bedroom with a private bathroom upstairs. There are two spacious terraces — one on the ground floor and one upstairs — perfect for doing yoga or meditation while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The pool and house offer complete privacy, which made our stay feel truly relaxing and secluded. At the same time, it’s reassuring to know that Erinn and her husband live nearby, always available to help or offer great local tips. Both are incredibly kind and helpful. The pool is fantastic — you can keep an eye on the kids. We felt incredibly comfortable and were warmly welcomed by Erinn and her husband. We will definitely come back on our next visit!

Maria is a sweet woman with a heart for nature, her beautiful garden full of flowers and her cozy house and airbnb. She is happy to help ensure you have a wonderful stay but also respects your privacy. You will notice everything that Maria has an eye for authentic coziness. This place is incredible, a truly unique gem. The open layout makes you feel one with the natural surroundings and is awesome rain or shine. There are so many different spaces to hang, and it's very private. The bedrooms have doors that close and screens, along with aircondlting and fans, which allow you a peaceful night sleep. The beds were SUPER comfortable. The stone bathroom is so cool and there is both an indoor and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower was magical and we essentially used this most of the time. The kitchen has simple supplies and no oven, but it gets the job done and we were able to eat several meals at home, which saved a bundle since restaurants are expensive. It's ~15min from downtown Puerto Viejo, but it is in between a lot of different stuff, and is on a road that leads to an awesome zipline tour. The pool is not heated, but feels refreshing on warm days and is warm enough. He keeps it immaculately clean! There are poison dart frogs all over:) so fun!

Unique lodging experience. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting and convenient to beaches, nearby parks/reserves, and excursions, and Puerto Viejo. Perfect for those that enjoy outdoor eating areas and lounging. Somewhat rustic. Place is very well decorated — quite an experience — sad to leave!

Troy was a wonderful host! Always responsive and helpful! The house and property is perfect for Cahuite - and a short walk to the beach and restaurants! We’ll be back
