The villa in Mihaela is beautiful. The place is beautiful and relaxing zen. Mihaela is a beautiful host, she responds very quickly, ensures our comfort. I would go back to ensure! And I highly recommend discovering Marbella which is a beautiful town the beach is beautiful and natural.

This was our 3rd stay here. We love this house. Beautiful view and very peaceful. The location is lovely and very safe. We love the outdoor living and pool and proximity to the beautiful beach.

Our stay at Casa Nube was beautiful and memorable. Helena and Maria were always responsive and helpful. Know that you are staying in the jungle. Power is going to flicker, internet may be spotty, and the roads up to the house are bumpy, but manageable. The views are incredible, the pool is a game changer (the tile surrounding can be slippery, so just be cautious), and the wildlife outside your door is unreal! Feeling very lucky to have had the opportunity to spend two weeks in this beautiful country and glad Casa Nube was a part of our adventure!

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. If our group finds ourselves in Guanacaste again, we’d love to return to Casa Bella Tortuga once more. You made my partner’s birthday and PhD graduation celebrations all the more special. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Casa Shiva! It’s tucked back off of the main roads but with their directions our drivers had no problem finding it. Very welcoming place, felt secure and well kept. Air conditioning worked great, the pool was perfect and felt very private, was cleaned and maintained 3x in the 8 days we were there. Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen stuff, games, tv which we used to stream music. A short walk to Playa Pelada, so peaceful and amazing sunsets. Any questions or recommendations, Jordy the house manager was quick to respond and super helpful :) I would recommend some form of transportation for shopping or excursions, the walk to the market can be hot if you are not accustomed to the weather. We had a golf cart which was fun and made it easy. On our final night we were treated to approx 15 howler monkeys traversing across the trees by the pool, up the roof of the casita to climb the next trees over. Fantastic family vacation spot

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Shannon provides pretty much everything you need and Luis is alway available and responds to problems very quickly. It is a Costa Rican home in a newly developed forested area, so be aware you will have to deal with bugs and insects, more so than if you're used to staying in the lowlands.

Sámara Suites is beautifully located on a hill overlooking the ocean and has an absolutely amazing view!! It was such a peaceful place to relax after a day at the beach. We were able to view both the sunrise and sunset from the terrace and a mama howler monkey with her babies even treated us to a song each evening!! It was really magical. As the hosts mentioned, you definitely need a vehicle to navigate the area. The initial drive up to Sámara Suites is an adventure but so well worth it for the view and the tranquility and we quickly got used to the roads. We stayed in Lodge Chora which was beautifully decorated with whimsical paintings and had a lovely little sitting area out front with a comfy hammock and view of the pool. All 3 lodges are quite lovely so you couldn’t go wrong with any of them. The hosts, France and Laurent were very kind to us and took the time to answer all our questions about constructing a house as we were there to investigate the possibly. Thanks so much!

what a lovely time here at Casas Pelicanos. we stayed here for 3 days and wish we stayed a bit longer! Sibylle was very friendly, welcoming and overall so pleasant. everything was clean and accessible. loved the outdoor patio, hammock, garden, pool and walkable access to the beach would recommend this place to everyone! need 4x4 for safety reasons, roads are dirt, rock and when raining pot holes filled with water we cooked meals here and then ate at many local restaurants, favorites: Sabor De Mi Tierra & El Fogon de Dona Luisa. local supermarket Junquillal for basic stuff, I recommend stopping at a bigger supermarket on the way from outside towns recommended to stop at Playa Grande, Playa Negra (both have parking with security guard you pay cash colones 2000). playa Negra had monkeys, variety of birds and squirrels. playa grande was by far my favorite- you could walk for ever, take photos on the rocks and of all the shells! just heads up this is Costa Rica, there are bugs everywhere

John and Carla were wonderful hosts before we even arrived. My family and I were receiving information and communication was clear on how to get to the house, what was included, and recommendations for the area. The house was absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, rooms were spotless, and we were welcomed with open arms from both Gerardo and Elieth. Gerardo and Elieth could not have been more welcoming and friendly. They both made sure we had everything we needed, laundry was done, and the house was always spotless. Elieth made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and we paid extra to have her cook dinner one night for us (she made a local Costa Rican dish with both vegetarian options and beef options for a very reasonable price- $80 for 5 people). Gerardo always made sure the outside steps were clean and dry so no one slipped. Neither spoke English but we had a great time learning Spanish and had no issues communicating with either of them. I cannot recommend this home enough!!

Place was awesome! Surfed everyday, beach is walkable but it’s about 10 minutes. A lot of wild life around, really nice pool. We will definitely be coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The space was perfect for our family of three for 5 nights—plenty of room for everyone to relax and feel at home. The location couldn’t have been better—just an 8-minute walk to the beach and close to great cafes and restaurants. One of the highlights was watching monkeys from the balcony—such a special experience! The infinity pool was gorgeous and a great way to cool off and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Also worth noting—the mattresses and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I’m usually quite picky about that. We all slept so well! Our host was amazing—proactive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

This house was our home for a couple of weeks, and it was exactly right. It's beautiful and spacious, surrounded by lush landscape, wonderful details. It was the perfect location for us, as we were a group of friends all doing different things that were all accessible - surfing, yoga, ceramics classes, etc. The house was also great for everyone to hang out in the together comfortably and go swimming in the beautiful pool and make meals together. There was a beautiful pixote that visited, and a family of howler monkeys that ate the little papaya tree in the yard. Heaven! This place is perfect, and in a perfect location. Would book again for our next Nosara trip for sure.

Casa Mareva felt like our home away from home. This was our second time in Nosara and it was even more of a wonderful experience because of this little jungle oasis. Truly, could not get more magical than Casa Mareva. We quickly found out just how close we were to the beach and spent every morning taking a stroll down to the water and over to La Luna (a personal fav) for a cup of coffee. The monkeys visited frequently (particularly in the morning) and we caught glimpses of ardillos and pizote's throughout the day as well. Afternoon thunderstorms were so peaceful in our little villa with the screen doors open and the pool was such a fun communal space for us all to come together and soak up the jungle. Despite the open, fresh air feel of each individual villa - bugs were mostly kept at bay. Beds were cozy, bathrooms were dreamy (particularly the primary villa's bathtub,) and the space was warm, welcoming and beautifully decorated. We had the best time and would absolutely book again.

This has to be one of my favorite stays. I really enjoyed coffee with the birds every morning. The pool was great the house had everything you need and more. I absolutely loved the location and how easy it was to walk to the beach. It’s a great place to relax unwind and catch a beautiful sunset. I would recommend 10/10.

This villa was great and everyone enjoyed their stay. It’s private, quiet, easy to access, and comfortable. Coltin and Beto helped us navigate the area and their communication was quick and effective.

enjoyed our stay here. 10 minute drive up/down the mountain the villa is located on (fun dirt road, 4x4 likely needed, as with most of Costa Rica). 20-25 minute drive from Playa Guiones; lots of restaurants in this area. villa offers nice views, good hangout areas. if you have a toddler, the staircase railings are open.

Perfection! Beautiful! More than enough room for our group of 9. Lots of bathrooms, showers, outdoor and indoor gathering spaces! Amazing pool! No detail left out! The home owners and property managers were amazing! Loved every minute! The beach was walkable! The little town of Samara offered lots of shops and little restaurants!

Louis's Samara home has set the bar against which all other AirBNB's are judged. I've stayed at AirBNBs around the world and this was our favorite. The home was immaculate, well furnished, and had a lot of little touches that elevated the experience. My kids (7, 4, and 2) loved the pool (perfect size and temperature for them), the constant visits from hummingbirds, and the sounds of howler monkeys. My wife and I loved the number and quality of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, outdoor area, and bedding in the house. Louis was extremely responsive and checked in to ensure our stay went well. The proximity to Samara and Playa Carrillo was perfect for our family.

Such a beautiful stay! The outdoor area is absolutely stunning — all the plants and trees around the pool create the most peaceful, lush atmosphere. Everything was clean and exactly as pictured, and communication was smooth the whole time. Highly recommend!

LIM Villas was a great place to stay, very peaceful and close to an incredible beach. We enjoyed many sunsets and beach walks and also fell in love with BernarDos and their incredible staff<3 Isis and Carlos were super helpful with recommendations and very responsive to any questions or needs we had. We had no issues with directions, everything was very clearly communicated. The layout of this little villa was great and the outdoor shower and pool were a perfect addition! We also spent time in the mornings listening to and watching the howler monkeys frolic in the the big beautiful guanacaste tree. Don't forget your binoculars, there is so much to look at:) We felt very safe and comfortable, would definitely go back. Thank you for everything!

This house was great! I brought my family of five and there was plenty of room. Situated just above town through an automatic gate up on the hill. We rented a golf cart to get back and forth to the beach (highly recommended). I really loved access to coolers, tents and beach chairs available at the house. Costa Rica is so close to the equator, shade from the tent was a requirement! Just be aware that ants are in certain parts of the house, that is just life in this part of the world, not a big deal. I would definitely go back!

Just had another amazing stay at Carl's place in Nosara. A truly special spot. We hope to return next year!
