Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

Staying with Mary Jo was a great space to end our vacation. After spending a few nights in the jungle, we were very grateful to have found Moms place. And as the name states, we felt right at home. Mary Jo is a beautiful host that had many recommendations for places to visit and eat. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Quintana Roo. Villa Morena was probably the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed in. As described, it is a beautiful oasis created by a wonderfully accommodating family. Vanessa could not have been more helpful in making us feel at home. We loved everything, from the clean and spacious cabana, the incredible breakfast and dinner meals, the bird song upon waking every morning, and basically the whole vibe with family, cats, and dogs all relaxing in this jungle oasis. Can't recommend highly enough!

Great getaway. Low key comfortable accommodations with a good restaurant attached. Spacious bedroom and eat-in kitchen, with two balconies. Comfortable large bed, spacious closets with a safe. A quiet, interesting neighborhood full of locals & expats just across the street from entrance to a beautiful string of family-friendly beaches. A 20 min walk down Avenida 5 to all the noise & nightlife; 45 minute walk to ferry. Christian and his colleagues at the restaurant are lovely folks. Made us feel welcome and right at home.

Both Eva and her property were amazing. She has such a sweet and warm personality, and she was incredibly communicative. Her instructions were very helpful and she gave a great recommendation for a taxi company. The property itself is a paradise. I fell asleep to the sound of the wind through all the lush vegetation. The inside of her home has so much incredible art! And the breakfast she prepared was fantastic. I was delighted with my stay here and hope to come back.

Une petite oasis très bien située sur l’île de Cozumel. Les déjeuners sont excellents et la maison est superbe. Très bien placé pour faire des courses et bien manger dans les restaus environnant. Un petit paradis bien protégé.

Patricia has put so much love into this home it is absolutely beautiful! The garden is a serene little paradise away from the hustle of everyday life. I can’t say enough about the kindness of the staff and how warm and welcoming everyone was. If you are looking for a hidden gem on the beautiful island of Cozumel you need to not look any further. Cumplía con todo lo prometido y aún que tuve retrasos debido a las aduanas y llegué un poco tarde, no tuve ningún inconveniente ya que le comunique los retrasos que tuve y bien comprensiva, flexible en cuanto a la hora de entrada, y aúnque no lo pedí le hicieron limpieza a la habitación lo que me alegro, excelente atención. En cuanto a preguntar por lugares para visitar hay un montón de cenotes Hermosos tiempo es el que hará falta para visitarlos todos.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home is central to everywhere we wanted to go. The food around the area was incredible and we would not hesitate to return. Irma was absolutely fabulous when it came to recommendations, helping with booking massages and private chef dinners, and even helped us book an ATV to travel around the city. We had an incredible experience and highly recommend!

I’ve stayed in many B&B’s thru out MX and this is the first that I will give a 5 star rating. The owners have done an outstanding job of maintaining the property and their guests are top priority! The daily breakfast is healthy and wonderful! The heated pool is great for dips and laps with no heavy chlorine odor. The hot tub was not working heat wise during my stay (max temp got up to 92) but they were right on it contacting and waiting for their pool service vendor. The sheets, towels, soaps and even toilet paper were top notch. Their aim is always to please and excelled in doing so. Nearby restaurants within walking distance is very convenient. The main town drag is a 5 block walk. It’s a 7 minute ride to and from airport and taxi service easily obtainable. Good bikes are available at the property ($15 day) including a lock. You will hear minimal dog barking at nite but that is typical of Mexico unless you are in a hotel or resort. I look forward to my next visit!!

Tamarindo bed and breakfast was fabulous! We enjoyed the bedroom, the jacuzzi, the delicious breakfasts! Host Jimena was outstanding! She called the car rental agency, which delivered the car at the Airbnb. We would happily return to enjoy Tamarindo, again.

This is an absolute hidden gem in Cozumel! Such a beautiful place with the most gorgeous pool and spa in the backyard under the trees. The outdoor cat Maria is adorable and super sweet! The breakfast was AMAZING. And Patricia and her staff were so kind, welcoming, and responsive. The AC works well too :) I will definitely be coming back!!!

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at El Tamarindo. Alex and Jimena are wonderful hosts and the spaces are lovely - a charming dining area, with shade, nice pool and hot tub with pleasant places to hang out, and a gorgeous yoga space with all new equipment. Jimena is always responsive when we reached out with a question and was able to accommodate our schedule on a couple of mornings when one of us had an early start. It is a lovely location, far off inland to be away from tourists and close enough to Coldwell to make it easy to go to nice restaurants, shopping, and so on. I would absolutely come back and would recommend El Tamarindo to anyone seeking a safe and tranquil place to stay in Cozumel.

Beautiful hacienda and great staff. Full breakfast menu was delicious! The pool and backyard was very peaceful to relax in. Located within 5 minutes walking of a taxi stand, grocery store, bakery, and ice cream. About 25-30 minute walk to the downtown area which is doable, however, with the heat made it challenging. The taxis nearby were 100 pesos to get to town. Easy street parking if renting a car. Maria the cat was friendly and cuddly! An amazing hacienda overall!

We had such a pleasant stay here with Alicia & Chuco and we felt like family guests in their home. It was very comfortable and Chuco’s breakfast was incredible, amazing omelettes and guacamole! He always made sure we had eaten enough and in general both Alicia & Chuco are lovely hosts! Would come back anytime. The location is located 30mins by foot from the center, we walked twice and it was a pleasant walk (in general the island is quite big and anywhere you would need a scooter/car/bicycle to see all the beaches in the south, unless you plan to only see the north). You can also rent a car /scooter, Alicia & Chuco organize everything. Thank you for a lovely stay, we already miss it!

Place was amazing! Very cozy. Loved every detail. It was insanely quiet, my friends who live there were even surprised on how serene it was with all the usual construction noise going on. Each casita is evenly spaced. The high ceilings were game changer! The beds were actually really comfortable. I would say bring better lighting if you are a girly wanting to get all ready because once the sun goes down it’s a little harder to see your face clearly in the little mirror they give you! (There’s a full length mirror, bathroom mirror, and a little desk tabletop mirror in each hut)

A truly perfect experience from beginning to end. I took my mom and a group of her friends here for a 60th celebration and everyone was so blown away. We felt so safe and comfortable the entire time. All of their suggestions were outstanding. Would absolutely recommend and am planning on coming back!

La estancia fue buena, es una habitación pequeña con baño propio y cuenta con los utensilios básicos y electrodomesticos (cafetera, hervidor, tv, nevera y microondas, etc), el sr. Gerardo y su esposa siempre son muy amables y atentos. Tuvimos acceso a la piscina del lugar y lo mejor de todo es la vista de la habitación pues esta frente al mar. Volveria por mas días en otra oportunidad.

Todo estubo muy bien,dejare unos comentarios en privado esperando sean tomados en cuenta pero vale la pena lugar tranquilo, agradable, buena zona, frente a centro comercial muy grande muchas opciones para comer, facil transportación, solo un detalle de mas cuidado en baños pero nada grave

Had a wonderful stay at Joel’s. Nice and cozy condo. Enjoyed the 2 pools. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Great location.

El lugar ideal para disfrutar Cozumel Mi estancia fue simplemente perfecta. Desde el primer momento, las anfitrionas fueron atentas y amables, nos proporcionaron información súper valiosa para movernos, donde comer delicioso, las mejores playas. El lugar es impecable en cuanto a limpieza y comodidad, con áreas comunes nuevas y en excelente estado. La alberca es un verdadero oasis para relajarse, y el alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. Además, el internet de altísima velocidad es ideal para quienes necesitan estar conectados sin interrupciones. Definitivamente, este es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar Cozumel con total tranquilidad. Sin duda, volveré en mi próxima visita, 1000% recomendado
