Beach apartment holiday rentals in Playa del Carmen

Great place to stay at . Very safe , clean and perfectly located to enjoy playa del Carmen main strip . The rooftop pool access is perfect as the beaches nearby are full of sargassum and make it very hard to swim in. Our host were very nice and fast to respond when we had any questions .

The apartment was great. Had everything you need for the stay. Wifi was great also. Had no problems. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Great location, so close to the beach and private beach entrance. They even had all the things you need for the beach like chairs and umbrellas. Would go back 100%

I just stayed at Monica’s for 3 weeks and it was absolutely perfect! The location was perfect- there is a 7-Eleven directly across from the building, a grocery store is about a 4 minute walk, 5th ave and the beach are within a 10 min walk. Despite being so close to everything, it was super quiet at night! The condo looks like the pictures and is such a cozy space! The bed is very, very comfortable with soft sheets. The water was hot every single time I showered and had great pressure. The a/c and internet worked perfectly. Monica was super responsive, helpful and very friendly. She checked on me consistently throughout my stay and promptly answered any questions I had. This was a wonderful experience and I am already planning to return and stay with Monica again. Thank you for everything!!

Spacious, modern apartment located conveniently near Quinta Avenida in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Check-in was very smooth and reception was super friendly! Viri was very responsive and had helpful tips for parking since we had a rental car. Parking is free in the garage, but there are limited spaces and you will need to ask reception to let you in/out each time. The apartment itself was very clean and comes equipped with a small kitchen and giant TV with streaming box. Extra amenities (rooftop pool and mini gym) were clean and exactly as described. We greatly enjoyed our stay here! Minor negatives: - A/C unit works well but drips water - Hot water in shower is intermittent and unreliable

Cruz con Mar is one of our favorite places to stay in PDC. We have been in quite a few different units in the building. This one was one of the best. The ease of the door lock and the updated thermostats might be a strange complement but IYKYK. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure in the showers were great.

We loved our stay at Rachel's Beautiful Condo! As the pictures shows, her space is wonderful in so many ways! It is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable, and she is a kind, responsive and fantastic host! We would not hesitate to stay here again. The pool at the Elements is fantastic, the food at the ocean grill is great and so convenient, there is an awesome yoga center just across the street, and the ocean views are great. We really enjoyed our stay there - 5 stars!!!

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable condo interior, furnishings, lobby, etc. Safe and secure gated parking with friendly guards. Ocean views from the private balcony. Kitchen had all nice appliances, cookware, dishes, etc, plus various coffee makers, incl a French Press. Bathroom and shower were modern and clean. Bed was big and comfortable, with a bunch of pillows and extra blankets if needed. Both TV's worked great, incl. streaming apps. The host, Jeffrey, and his local property manager, Cristian were both super friendly, helpful, and were active with communication. All questions were answered promptly and made our stay anxiety-free! One block walk to the beach. Within a few blocks of EVERYthing needed, ped mall with gift shops, upscale and mid-level restaurants of all types, pharmacies, currency exchange, and many convenience stores/bodegas. Big grocery store and Walmart were within 2miles. We would absolutely book Jeffrey's condo next time we come to Playa del Carmen!!

I researched a lot before finally landing on this place. First things first the LOCATION is spot on if you are someone who is wanting to adventure out each day. 5 minute walk to 5th avenue (shopping street), 2 minute walk to a large grocery store (which surprisingly had the best ceviche we tried all trip) , 8 minute walk to the beach, seriously it was great! The place itself smelt like a newly built home (very clean), my partner and I discussed how it was perfect for us two but anymore than that would feel crowded, it was stocked with all the cooking utensils for cooking. After being out in the hot sun all day it was very nice to come home to a lovely shower and well working AC unit. The dimmable lights really set the mood and were a nice touch. The key setup for entry to building/room was very easy to use. We peaked at the roof top pools and man it’s more amazing than photos! We unfortunately opted to spend time at the beach but for any of you who enjoy pools you will be shocked!

We had a great vacation in Dovile's apartment. We were 2 adults and 2 small children (1 and 4 years old). Dovile kindly provided a cot and a highchair. The apartment has a great layout - the bedrooms are separated from the living room by a corridor. The terrace became our favorite place, where we spent a lot of time and often cooked food using the gas grill (Weber). The Vaiven Del Viento complex itself is very calm and peaceful. We will be happy to come back here again.

We visit PDC usually 2x a year. This is one of the best places we stayed. 1 block to beach. Close to 5th but also far enough away from the crowds close to playa centro. This side of town is much more chill than Calle 20s. Pools were refreshing and the roof top was quiet and peaceful. No loud djs blasting electronic music, only the sounds of the birds could be heard from the roof. Luis was a great host, responsive and communicated clearly. Building is clean and nice. Was always greeted upon entry and exit. Highly recommend!!

Great and beautiful space. We were gone around and about most of the time but the bed and pillows are so comfortable! That was a big plus for us to sleep. Hot water and good pressure! The air needs to be adjusted, it doesn’t push enough fresh air. Coffee pods and the very organized loft with everything you need is really awesome. 😎

WoW quel beau séjour nous avons eu à Playa del Carmen ! Le condo était fidèle à la description: très beau, propre, sans bruit, balcon extérieur, la piscine sur le toit fut un réel must ! Nous y avons pris nos repas et les enfants s’y sont baignés à tous les jours. Irlanda super géniale ! Très accueillante et Réponses rapides à nos questions. Nous y retournerons assurément !

Tina's place was located right on 38th - a really beautiful tree-lined street that ends at a public beach entrance. It's a little hard to find the first time because the front entry is nestled in between bars. All communcation was done through whats app, and the property management people were super informative - provided us with all the information we needed. The rooms were super spacious with firm beds, clean towels, and standard kitchen items - note that they do not provide shampoo and bodysoap. We had our little private pool which was really nice - so after a hot beach day, you can finish it off at the pool. The *only* downsides are that the bedroom curtains are not light blocking, so once the sun comes up at 7am, you're pretty much up for the day. Other downside is the street noise - if you play whitenoise to sleep, it's not that bad, but you'll be able to hear muffled music and general crowd noise until midnight every night.

This place was awesome!! I spent tons of time on the rooftop for sunrise and sunset.. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything!!!! Lily and our host did an awesome job communicating!! I would definitely stay there again!!!

Matt plus the staff at Zamá Homes did an amazing job communicating with my family and me, and making us feel right at home. The place is beautiful; the photos don’t do the place justice. It’s as pictured and better. The location is amazing; walking distance to all the major clubs, restaurants, etc. And the hosting staff, once again, made this place feel like we were staying at a resort not just any Airbnb. 100% would stay here again next time I’m in Playa Del Carmen.

Amazing stay! Safe, peaceful, quiet location. Amazing amenities and facilities. Several pools. Never crowded. Beautiful lobby. Really nice staff. Lots of AC. Very comfortable. Nice restaurant across the street. Close enough to 5th to walk when it’s not too hot or 5 min taxi ride. But really everything you want and need is onsite. No need to venture into the noise if you don’t want to. Great concierge for any outing you need to book. Walked to the ferry to go to Cozumel. Paid a little bit more than other places in Playa. But you get what you pay for. Looking forward to staying here again!

this is our third time at this airbnb ! perfect for large groups and great location.

We had a wonderful vacation! The house was just as it was described. It was very spacious and clean. We really liked it because it was close to everything. We didn’t need a car and could just walk to restaurants and shopping. The beach was just down the sidewalk and you also get access to Mamita’s beach club. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, this is not the place. There are bars on the street that stay open late and play loud music. This didn’t bother us, but some people it may . We would definitely stay at this location again!

Great place, super cozy clean. Definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to playa. Super convenient as there is things open late all around at really close walking distance…anything you need is less then a 5 minute walk! Daily housekeeping was nice and pool was right in front. Amazing time thanks to Jaret for everything. Would definitely reuse for future trips
