A beautiful, well-equipped and very clean house in a quiet neighborhood and close to Lecce. Thanks to Massimo for hosting us. Highly recommend this sweet spot.

We enjoyed the stay in Bernadetta's apartment very much. A beautiful apartment in a small medieval village. Next door there is a small shop where you can buy almost everything and there are some restaurants. If we are back in Puglia, we would like to stay in Bernadetta's apartment again.

I was in Melendugno for a course, only 4 days with some free time to go to the beach. Annamaria is very nice, she was very considerate to make me feel good, with very good suggestions for various events in the area and tips on transportation and places. She was extremely flexible with departure times, when I was in trouble with the shuttle to the airport she adapted with so much kindness to my needs. I had a great time in the house, it's spacious, quiet and clean, you immediately feel at home. I was so sorry to leave, and I hope to be back soon.

This is an amazing place – from the street it looks like a simple door to a simple house, but once you enter, it is a long, fascinating palace. There are numerous artworks on the walls, extraordinary ornaments, and a sitz bath/pool; in one courtyard, and a barbeque and play area in the other courtyard. A citrus grove. We enjoyed the town of Vernole as well, with its welcoming square, excellent pizzeria and the pastry shop out on one of the side streets. Vernole is well placed in the centre of the heel of Italy, with access to beaches 15-20 minutes drive each way. We enjoyed San Foca beach the most. The house was well-serviced and Giuseppe the gardener came by from time to time to water the plants and see to the pool.
