Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pioneer Valley

Had a wonderful stay at Mighty’s house on the lake. It was such a peaceful and beautiful area. The house was clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. It was reassuring to have our hosts right next door but there was a good amount of privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, taking the canoe out on the beautiful lake and having some space and time to wind down. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to step away from life for a little while.

We loved our recent stay! The house was charming, clean, bright, and comfortable! This was our first AirBnB stay, and John and Kathy’s house set a high bar for the future. This place was great, I was a little concerned it may be too rustic based on the pictures, but the place was fabulous. No problems with wifi, access, sleeping arrangements. The open space for the kitchen/tv room were so great for our large family. Everything is well appointed, there are clear instructions everywhere on how to use anything in the house. It was really nice for our short weekend stay for graduation. I felt the kitchen was better stocked than most places I've stayed. They had everything we needed. I wish we could have used the fireplace on this rainy cold weekend, but heard maybe it's an Airbnb thing not an owner thing. If you want to head to this area, this was a great place to stay.

Very cute apartment and more than what we needed for a one night stay on a wedding weekend! The downstairs has a charming sitting room and spacious kitchen with fridge, stove, and laundry. The stairs were a bit steep so be cautious! Upstairs a comfy soft bed with window AC and a large bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower. Jennifer was very nice about our last minute request to check in early to change for a 4 PM wedding. We would stay here again if we come back to the area! Thanks so much!

I was planning on my proposal and wanted somewhere special. The window house was exactly that. Private, peaceful, super clean, amazing views and wildlife. Taylor and Marla were EXTREMELY good at communicating and getting back in a timely manner. If you and your significant other are looking to get away, this is the place. It’s sublime.

This was my second stay and appreciate how accommodating that Magda always is. Great host and her place is exactly what I need when in Amherst.

Jessica was very responsive and super friendly. The place was very clean, so adorably decorated, and there was a list of local places to go in the countertop. Very quiet, very safe neighborhood.

Heather's place is amazing...very spacious and was great for my two week stay for work. It really great it is so close to the highway and also local restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay again if I am in the area.

This first floor apartment is wonderful- homey, well equipped, on a quiet friendly street with lots of greenery, peaceful and easy. Parking was a breeze in a well marked space and the location is convenient to all things in and around Easthampton and Northampton, with good walking destinations, restaurants, and more. Rocky has many thoughtful touches and the kitchen was so well outfitted, I was sorry I didn't stay longer to do some cooking there!

Our experience at Carrie's studio apartment was just what we needed after a busy day attending to a family project. The apartment is spacious and nicely appointed with a comfortable bed, couches and lounging chair. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom neat and clean. Although we didn't have much time to enjoy it, a small outside porch overlooking a lower garden and an expanse of a neighbor's green lawn was an added perk. The apartment is a short walk into the village of Shelburne Falls with its diverse shops, many eateries, pharmacy (good spot for an ice cream soda), small grocery store (an organic oriented store is just across the bridge), bookstore, and very nice wine store (near the Pot Holes). Don't miss Gypsy Apple, a culinary treat for a special occasion (check for the evenings open as they are limited). Our respite at Carrie's was peacefully quiet and restorative. I have no reservations about recommending Carrie's lodging.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The place was cozy, clean, and cute. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby nature areas. Robin and Bud were great hosts - they were proactive in making sure the place was right for us during the booking process. They were also responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend!

Cute room above the brewery was a nice get away for my wife, our little dog, and I. John was friendly and so were all of the other employees and guests. The Irish band was great and the patio by the brewery was very cozy the beers were also delicious too. The room itself was spacious and well furnished with a good size bed and additional day bed. Fun weekend get away for all ages.

We stayed at the downtown apartment for two nights. Fabulous location and spacious loft like vibe. If you are looking to walk out the door and enjoy everything Northampton has to offer without having to get in the car, it’s a perfect spot.

This is my second time staying here and I had a wonderful stay, again! The place is super clean and exactly as described—comfortable, quiet, and perfect for my trip. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, making my family and I feel right at home from the start. Communication was easy. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, cozy spot with amazing hosts!

Obinna is a great host and this apartment is so comfortable and lots of space to stretch out. Fully stocked kitchen and there are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Two 65", high end tvs and the mattresses on the beds are sooo nice. Obinna puts effort in where a lot of hosts cheap out, which really makes this pad special. It's tough to get an open spot here on the calendar, but, if get the chance, make your reservation here. It's the best in the area.

We stayed at Julia's vacation rental for a 3-day weekend with our four children under the age of 12. The things that were great: 1) the unit is 150 foot walk in ski boots from a ski trail that will take you to the Mount Snow lift, which was great because we didn't have to shlep 4 kids ski gear, 2) the four kids loved the bunk bed room and were comfortable, 3) there are two large shelves of board games the kids enjoyed, 4) the access to the Sports Center which has a heated indoor pool and hot tubs were a great way to end the day after skiing, 5) the outdoor locker was a great place to dump all the ski gear (much better storage location than inside the car or inside the unit) and 6) very nice fluffy towels and bed sheeting was comfortable. A combined liquid shampoo and body soap is provided in each bathroom, which is the same that we use to bath our kids at home.

The unit is very comfortable for a family and very convenient to Mount Snow. Updated bathrooms and washer/dryer. Great clubhouse and pool facilities at Seasons condo. Andrew was a pleasure to work with.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Rafael's condo. The space was very clean and comfy, and exactly matched the description and photos posted here. The fireplace was a great draw, too. If you're planning on skiing at Mt. Snow, the Moover shuttle bus stop is located right outside of this building, which made for a very convenient and quick way to get to Mt. Snow for my family of 4. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Muna was incredible start to finish with my stay. Helpful, communicative and accommodating. Place was perfectly as described. Genuinely recommend a stay at her place!

Great little studio spot to use as your Basecamp for activities in the area!

We are repeat visitors. Staying here is always a pleasure. The apartment is wonderful. Just as described and perfect for day trips or just staying in. Mary and Lance are friendly and courteous. Hope to be able to stay here again when in the area.

Very close to Mount Snow. Walking distance to market, coffee house and Dover Bar and Grill. A dog friendly rental with everything you need for a ski trip.
