Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Philipstown

Our stay at Lavish & Live was extremely comfortable & most enjoyable. The location is prime (but be prepared for a little noise outside as the night life is robust), with access to loads of shops & eateries. Also, very easy access to the interstate. The apartment itself was, as the title suggests, lavish. It smells, looks and feels beautiful! The kitchen is well-equipped & spacious, like all the other rooms. There were so many flourishes everywhere yet it felt very Zen - made me want to start decorating the minute we got home! We are well happy that we happened upon this apartment & would choose to stay there again should we return to Stamford.

We stayed for one month. It was a pleasant stay. No issues. Everything was as advertised -- no surprises. Would stay again.

The accommodation was very conveniently located, close to the bus that runs to and from New York City. It was in a very nice and stately apartment building. The materials used in the interior were very high quality. Waking up every morning with a view of the New York skyline was magical! A beautiful stay where we would come back soon!

The apartment was beautifully renovated, quiet, and comfortable. Its location is ideal, with easy access to shops, cafes, and restaurants, and it's right next to the Aqueduct Trail. Jay was responsive and quick to address all of my questions. We were sorry our stay was so short, but we definitely plan to return for a longer visit!.

We very much enjoyed staying at the Catskill Cabin Duplex Apartment. It was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. Great location near ski resorts and restaurants and very easy to get there. Daniel is a great host we recommend this place! Thank you.

Ana was a great host, firstly the apartment smelled AMAZING and it was nice and cool, she had toiletries laid out and the bed was comfortable. The ambiance of the apartment was very welcoming and homey. Will definitely be back, thank you for the hosting.

The place was great, location was perfect because we were able to catch express bus into NYC nearby and the host was very responsive

While having a vibe similar to the overlook hotel from the Shining, the place was amazing. Beautiful views and felt super cozy. Would recommend a stay here to anyone!

This is a great condo if you visit Mountain creek. The furnishings are very nice, great feel to the unit. Location wise it can’t be beat. It’s right near the pool, great patio and easy walks to the lift for mountain biking. Even being close to all that it is still quiet and relaxing. The unit was very clean, bathroom is great size and the hosts provided everything g you could want. Definitely would stay here again.

Great stay! The hosts accommodated us on last minute when we were scrambling to find an Airbnb near the mountain. Amazing hosts, very responsive and a gem of a home. Loved it!

I've been to the Appalachian a few times over the years...this unit was clean, updated and spot on...near the elevator and great view of both the pool area and the mountain.

Aly’s place is a must go to! It’s immaculately clean, stocked with bathroom and kitchen essentials, aesthetically appealing and very comfortable! It fit the bill perfectly for our family of 3 ski getaway. There is an abundance of extra pillows, bedding and bath and pool towels. Don’t sleep on this one….book it and enjoy your getaway!

Massimo was the absolute best and sweetest, honest, helpful, generous, considerate person I’ve ever worked with on here. His home was so beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. He even provided snacks, water, and mash mellows and graham crackers along with the sticks if we wanted to use the onsite bonfire. He thought of everything down to little candy in trays, chocolates , probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in. There was not 1 thing about this trip I could complain about. I bragged to my friends who came over how amazing he was even at responding when I got lost. I’ve recommended him to a few people already so I hope he gets an abundance of business. It was worth every penny. He is an exceptional host and person. I will make it back to stay again. If you’re looking for pure comfort and ease don’t waste a burger second and book ! His place is worth it. Thank you so much Massimo you made my birthday amazing!!!!

We felt right at home at Laura's place. It served us just right with lots of greenery around us and comfortable rooms with equipment like baby high chair & crib for our infant. We really enjoyed hiking around and eating at nearby restaurants which had an excellent vibe. The house offered a big collection of books to enjoy & the kitchen was well stocked with quality cooking utensils. Laura was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay.

Nicola’s place is one of our absolute favorites. The serene home reflects a kind and responsive host who communicates with great warmth. This is the second time we stayed there and would love to return.

Jonathan’s house was so beautiful and comfortable. And we had lots of fun (adults and kids!) it was the perfect getaway. Highly recommend and would definitely go back!

This is a great place to stay. We had eight adult men staying for a healing weekend and everyone had their own room. Location is fantastic, views gorgeous, and the amenities were thoughtfully appointed.

This property is large and roomy with plenty beds to go around including the basement with the pool and ping pong tables plus a home gym with various equipments. The outdoors were fantastic with a very nice temperature controlled pool, Jacuzzi, swings set for the little ones and enough acreage to have a soccer match. The neighborhood was nice and quiet in a great country setting with lots of wildlife to enjoy to include lots of singing birds. Our family reunion was a great success due in part to the before mentioned surroundings. Douglas was always available to resolve minor issues, very responsive and accommodating, thanks for making our stay at this property a great one.

We were there for West Point graduation. The location was great and we could fit the entire family party in one place. Unfortunately, we have tall men in the family so its difficult to find beds that accomodate the 6 foot 3 inch uncle! But other than that, we all appreciated the house.

Richard's place is our favorite family getaway in the Hudson Valley. We love the location and the well-kept and cared-for house - and it's so nice living in among Richard's beautiful art (what IS that mysterious shape that appears everywhere?). Richard himself is great host - responsive, flexible, and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible stay — this place deserves every single one of its five stars and then some! From the moment we arrived, check-in was a breeze, setting the tone for a completely stress-free weekend. The home was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully set up for comfort and fun. We were blown away by the amenities — a hot tub for relaxing, a pool table and ping pong table for friendly competition, and a cozy fire pit perfect for unwinding in the evenings. Every room felt inviting, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable — we all slept like rocks. Whether you're looking to kick back or stay entertained, this home has it all. I would recommend this gem without hesitation — 1000% worth it!
