Monthly Rentals in Petrelë

This is definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences we've had. Daniela was a super kind and helpful host, and the apartment was exactly as described - with everything needed and more inside, placed in a special location (we saw turtles every day outside the place and fireflies every evening/night - which was pretty cool), near the city and right next to an authentic Albanian family-run restaurant.

The apartment is in a pretty worn down building but you shouldn't judge this book by its cover. The apartment is really nice, featuring high quality furniture. Most sights are easily walkable from the apartment within 30 Minutes to an hour. If you have a rental car, I highly recommend visiting the waterfalls of Erzen Canyon from Krrabë. The hike is pretty challenging but doable for most people who regularly hike and you'll get rewarded with the most amazing view, we even were all by ourselves. It was incredibly peaceful. Don't take children with you though. The nightlife of Tirana is pretty minimalist for a capital, some bars are there but the promising clubs somehow all closed last winter. The illuminated trees however, give the city a remarkable vibe. We were happy to watch a football match for a really reasonable price (800ALL). The best bakery in town is right across the street (Tito). It was a wonderful stay, maybe we'll come back to conquer the whole canyon without gear.
