Quinta do Bento Novo is a delightful and wonderful manor house and grounds, located at the edge of typical village overlooking beautiful countryside. Paulo was a perfect host. He could not have been more helpful before we arrived and was waiting to great us upon our arrival to gave us a tour around his family's ancestral home, which was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, he made himself available to answer our questions and help us get the most out of our stay. The house itself is wonderfully historic, spacious, and comfortable, with every facility one could need. The grounds are stunning and a joy to stroll around. I picked and ate my first (ever) orange straight from the tree, at Paulo's kind invitation (and it was delicious). Supermarkets and restaurants are within easy striking distance, as are any number of wonderfully historic sites to visit and the beach is close also. In short, we could not rate this property highly enough and plan to return as soon as we are able.

We stayed this weekend in a large group and we have nothing but praise. The house corresponds exactly to the photos: spacious, well-equipped and with all the conditions to comfortably accommodate a group of this size. We had a very pleasant stay, with everything we needed at our disposal. From the spacious common areas, ideal for socializing, to the organization of the rooms, everything was thought out in detail. The children also had a great time. We highly recommend it to those looking for a welcoming space for large groups. Without a doubt, an experience to repeat!

Ana is very friendly and very accommodating. It lets you arrive at the time you want and also leave at the time you want at the top. Beautiful apartment, not very far from the city center, with all amenities nearby.

Jose Luis was so accommodating - adjusting easily to my flight cancellation and late arrival! The courtyard is exceptionally beautiful and private. He provided recommendations when needed and was always responsive.
