Monthly Rentals in Patton

We absolutely adored this little retreat from the madness of our busy lives. A wonderfully cute barn with a wood burner to warm our cockles on return from some mighty hikes. Rick was warmly welcoming and we loved the breakfast delivery daily (yum) and his advice about local walks if we needed. Peaceful, isolated and charming.

We had such a wonderful stay in ‘The Nook at Newalls’. It was private and peaceful and had everything we needed. We had some stormy weather during one of the evenings, but we were cosy and warm in the hut with the log burner lit! Taxi into Kendal cost £9 where we had a gorgeous Sunday dinner at ‘Ye Olde Fleece Inn’. Windermere was a 20 minute drive where we did a great short walk up to Orrest Head for the most incredible views. The hut is a great base for exploring the Lake District - highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Punchbowl Cottage in Grayrigg. The house was cosy, spotless, and perfect for our family. We've travelled around England a bit, and this was probably the best accommodation we've stayed in so far. It's also a great base for exploring the Lake District – peaceful and beautifully located. And I must say... I completely fell in love with the hand cream from The Bath House! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality Kirsty!

beautiful location, absolutely spotless with everything you needed for a break away, easy to find with hazels instructions, woke up to some amazing views, Hazel.came to see if everything was satisfactory, absolutely amazing little hut and will be definitely staying again
